OHMUHLAWD, yes.  I want to throat punch the squatters.  Use paper or a liner if you have the heebies about public restrooms, but no one ever executed a perfect squat pee with no splashback.  SO GROSS.
  • Guys I really don't like bacon or peanut butter that much. Like I "like" them but I don't LIKE LIKE them, ya know?

  • I also love your siggy @sagoon.  I took a picture of it and sent it to DH because it makes me giggle every time I see it.

Sorry! Don't like the greasiness or the texture.

  • I used to like bacon...then Baby ruined that...I've always hated PB though. Probably because I was force fed too many PB&Js growing up.

  • Yeah seriously the flavor of bacon is just TOO MUCH. I like it at Waffle House with my meal and on BLT's but I seriously could pass most of the time. Peanut butter I have to be in the mood for. I love pb & j and I like Reese's but most of the time I could pass on it too.

I agree! The worst though is when it's at work and a colleague. It's like, come on people! You're professionals. You should be able to clean up your own stuff!

I am meh on peanut butter and actually prefer almond butter.  I hate bacon.  It's like eating burnt skin.

however, my family used to do peanut butter bacon sandwiches growing up, and I can devour that shit.
  • @poetryandoceans mine seems to think that 2-3AM is prime time for acrobatics.  Right now it's soft enough that I can go back to sleep but she'd better change her schedule before she gets stronger.

    I HATE football.

If you saw my living room, you'd understand why. We have a tv to watch the game on and a second tv next to it to watch redzone. Basically I won't be seeing my husband until February.
    :clutches pearls:

As a football fanatic, I'm in heaven right now watching my Panthers play the first game of the NFL season. Also waiting not so patiently for my Panthers maternity shirt to be delivered!

  • @ThePax89 ditto, won't be seeing my fiancée until next year. I like football but I can care less about watching it! (Except my university, I like that)

I do not like when men wear flip flops with jeans or pants. Tarek on Flip or Flop does this and I'm like..... Dude you're on national TV! We don't wanna see your toes! Kinda grosses me out!

  • @LastMango I was SO excited to hear the theme music and the announcers last night! I love football too! I was really hoping for a Carolina win though, because I have Cam as my QB in one fantasy league. Also I picked up my Buffalo Bills maternity shirt last weekend. DH banned me from wearing his jerseys.
  • The sports thing is real here, but with Penguins hockey. Neither of us watch football. (I know, I know, it is crazy.)

Are you from the Pittsburgh area? I'm in the South Hills (sort of - not in Allegheny County but we're only 10 minutes or so from the county line)!

  • @nolemomma14 what? Are you really from Florida? Lol I've only lived here for 3 years but I have fully embraced the flip flops as all year shoes. I don't like when DH wears them with anything other than jeans or shorts.

My UO is that I really don't like PSLs. I don't get the obsession and cult following that it has. I mean it isn't bad, but I just don't get it.
  • I think guys look great in a pair of jeans and a nice pair of flip flops. I think the pastor at my old church even wore flip flops with jeans and a nice shirt (he was totally a surfer). Pants require proper dress shoes, but there's nothing more comfortable than a good pair of flip flops. I'd be in them every day if my work allowed it. I used to buy toe socks just so I could keep wearing flip flops through the "winter" when I was in high school and college LOL.

  • Ew I hate men in flip flops regardless of the pants/jeans/shorts. Something about hairy, nasty man toes hanging out for all to see in public weirds me out.
  • @karaelaine1991 I live in Erie!
Cool! I have some friends from college who live up there (I went to Clarion University for my undergrad). It's a nice area!

  • @LastMango - My husband and I took the night off from the carehome to watch the first game in peace. It was fabulous and made me miss NFL so bad! Also I have CJ Anderson on my fantasy team and he kicked butt!

I am a Steelers fan though so I have to wait until Monday to watch my team.

  • Prom/homecoming  "mums" are stupid.... I don't get them.... I have several friends with high school kids sporting them around. Why? Just why? They.are.SO.BIG.

They were a huge thing for homecoming when I grew up, and I'm old haha.  I think it's a Texas-only thing.  Is that where you are, @HJMorgan?

@KAShock, they are these giant horrible fake chrysanthemums.  The bigger and more gawdy and more expensive mum your date buys you (think hundreds of dollars), the more your date likes you.
  • @kashock @justjaney Yup! Live in Texas, originally from California. Maybe that's why I don't get it. Lol.

  • They are a thing in Oklahoma too. I think all those Friday Night Light type places do them. They were such a big deal when I was young. The bigger they were and more ribbons and charms hanging from them, the more popular you were or sonething. They went out of style for awhile, but now they are back again.

I just dont understand this at all!! I have never heard of this but I live in a big city. Maybe it is a diwn south thing??

  • I just googled it and oh man what the heck are these kids thinking. This is the equivalent to those people who dug up their glamour shots from way back when
  • I don't know if this is unpopular or not but I am 100% over warm weather. Flew from Southern Alberta to Toronto the other day and as I was exiting the airport I wanted to turn around get back on the plane and leave. What the fuck is this heat still doing here. Tried to go for a walk along the water front today but half way through I felt sick from the heat and humidity. Nope, September is here, bring me fall, I'm just done. It was like 18 degrees (Celsius) when i left Alberta and here it's 30 feels like 45....HELLS NO.
  • @mudderbear Nope! It's so freaking hot here and the humidity makes it even worse. We're finally catching a break though that starts today. I don't know how women who deliver in August/September do it. I've been miserable anytime I stop outside! Also people at work keep asking me how I'm doing throughout the day (we have to walk outside between buildings), so I'm assuming it's actually really flipping hot. Or I just look like a mess. Oh well.
