I had been craving pumpkin pie and chai tea. I ate too much of each for a few weeks. I've been craving cheese fries too but that's fading even though I haven't had any.
My new craving is Oreo dessert, specifically dirt cake with worms. I've been dropping some not-so-subtle hints to my husband about it, like sending him recipes (haha), so maybe he'll make it happen.
Pasta. I want all the foods with pasta in them. We've had a pasta meal every week. I'm also loving chocolate and salty foods. I ate a ton of regular lays potato chips the other day (which I normally don't like) and they were so salty and satisfying.
I can't really say I've had a craving for any one thing, but I'll be watching tv and see a commercial for something and immediately want that. Then the next commercial will come on for something totally different, and I'll want that. I think I could just constantly eat and I do not discriminate at this point.
Peanut butter by far. I could eat it once a year and be quite content. Lately I can't get enough. It's weird because DH is a peanut butter freak - like eats it with a spoon.
I'm also craving random things like ice cream, cucumbers, banana peppers, chips & french onion dip, and buffalo chicken anything. Spicy and sour seem to be my go to cravings beyond peanut butter and ice cream. I also love Chipotle fajita bowls but I've been cutting back, because of the cost, both financially and acid reflux.
Someone told me certain cravings means you need certain foods. I googled and found this info pic... Ain't no way, "nuts, seeds, veggies & fruits" don't sound appetizing at all. I'll take my dirt cake!
Take 5 bars! And the last few days, Dominos cheesy bread. Last pregnancy I had no cravings except for cheese fries one night so this has been fun to experience this time around! I'm very grateful that I'm not craving anything gross haha
Pregnancy is so weird. I never crave sweets. I've always preferred savory to desserts, like I'd get bruschetta before cake or pie any day. I'd revel on eating pickled garlic with spaghetti and always had juice and stuff with half water. It seems like most my cravings these days are for everything I always say, "no, thanks," to. Now, it's the complete opposite; I don't want anything savory but more boring and look forward to sweets. Weird.
Literally grapes every single day since 6 weeks pregnant.
There's been a few other things in between--cherry Poptarts (only cherry, no other flavor), peanut butter M&Ms... but nothing even comes close to the grape cravings.
Someone recently found a live black widow in their grapes here so I've been too scared to buy them. Totally afraid of spiders.
Ahhhhh that's scary! I'm not even afraid of spiders and I don't know how I'd feel if that happened!
The only way I'm positive my grape cravings are real (aside from the fact that they've lasted like 17 weeks haha) is the fact that I bought a bag of black seedless from the grocery store a month ago and was just wolfing them down without looking and apparently missed that all the grapes at the bottom were covered in thick mold... launched one into my mouth, literally covered entirely in mold... I still remember the taste but I have no words to describe it. Despite that, I was still eating grapes (and over-cautiously checking for mold every single bite!) again 2 days later
@canavara I've never pickled them myself, we've always purchased them. I know some places don't do it right and they can have too much of a tart/piercing flavor but when you get them right, oh man, they're like icing on a bowl of spaghetti!
@cabu14 the mac & cheese at Costco is yummy! Grab a tin of that to cook, a package of corn to boil and pick up some brisket from a local BBQ place - perfection, with leftovers.
Okay, this isn't necessarily a craving but we went out to dinner and I asked for a substitution because the standard rice and beans side dish sounds completely disgusting to me right now. The guy looked at me weird but smiled at the same time. Haha. Once I told him I had to have it weird because I'm pregnant, I got the best service ever -LOL! I'll probably start milking this bump thing when out to eat from now on. ETA this is a boiled chicken burrito filled with steamed fajita vegetables with light ranchero sauce and cheese, baked not fried. Scrumdiddlyumptious!
I'm back to wanting coffee and desserts, after being repulsed by them for the past few months. But all the savory foods mentioned here make me want tortilla soup with little cubes of avocado...and then some cheesecake.

This makes me laugh! Basically whatever you are craving you should eat the opposite. I think not! Lol.
Ive been craving snow cones. I need to invest in a snow cone machine...
I've started on the pickles cravings, but I can't just eat pickles by themselves, so I have to get a Boar's head sub, CFA spicy sandwich, or burger and then ask for extra pickles. DH was jealous I had so many pickles for my CFA sandwich last night and actually asked me to share! Good job I love him...
I've also been craving lime cordial a lot lately. I'd always get it as an alcoholic drink whenever we visited the family in England and had no clue how to make anything similar to it here, so I bought some Rose's lime syrup, club soda, and fresh lime. It was glorious. I've drank it almost every night the last week. And it's now one of DH's favorite drinks too! Which means more sharing...

I'm digging mozzarella sticks, doritos, sour watermelons (the gummy candy), chocolate covered bananas (dole makes frozen sliced ones which are amazing), and cheese fries here too! I had some cheese fries from this restaurant and they were served with a cup of dipping cheese that reminded me of the cheese base for mac n' cheese. They were like heaven! It'd be good if I'd start craving something healthy soon.
To drink I'm liking a mix of unsweetened iced tea with lemonade. I figure by mixing them I'm cutting the caffeine of the iced tea and the sugar of the lemonade. That lime cordial substitute sounds interesting @PMForbie. Might have to try that!
All the chocolate milkshakes I can get! I've been trying to make them at home with vanilla frozen yogurt instead to make myself feel at least a little better about eating them!

Also, fruit flavored soda, fruit in general, and carbsssssss.
Edit: OH! And ice cream blizzards with reese's.
Also all the sweets with a side of Pringles.
@gapeachrn a spicy chicken sandwich from CFA sounds gooooood right now

Dirt cake!
The only thing I really crave consistently is chocolate, and frankly it's always been something I crave so I can't even blame it on pregnancy!

This thread is about as bad as going to the grocery store while pregnant and hungry. My DH is going to have a long shopping list tonight...
