I live in Manitoba, Canada...I love how different all the seasons are. And also that we live so close to Grand Forks, ND for a fun weekend shopping getaway
I live in a popular beach town in Central Florida. I love that the beach is only about a 10 min drive from our house since we live mainland but Orlando is also only about 45 min away. So we really have the best of both worlds. Theme Parks, Shopping, Nightlife not far and Sun, Sand, Waves in our town.
I live in a major city in the South - I'm pretty sure my avatar makes its clear which one I grew up here, and I'm so excited to have my children grow up here, too. DD was actually not born here (she was born in DH's home state while he was in grad school), but I think she's quickly adapting to summer starting in April
Santa Monica, CA. I actually like the marine layer because it keeps it a little cooler than inland . It's kind of beachy while still being adjacent to civilization (Los Angeles).

We live in Phoenix. My husband is from Chicago and I would have loved living there but I needed to be near my family. Had to take care of my mom during chemo and my sister and I had babies two weeks apart so they'll grow up together which is awesome. But honestly family is the only reason we are here. I miss the Midwest.
We live in central PA right on the Maryland line. The best part about living there is how close we are to Maryland favorites like blue crabs and burger cookies
St. Louis, MO. I like living here because we have fabulous food options, and lots of stuff to 'do' and see. The burbs, where we live, have excellent school districts, some of the top in the country and our property values do really well. Its really the only place that feels like 'home' to us.
Lafayette, Indiana. I love the color changes in fall, and the smaller town feel. Granted, it's also a college town, so I like it better when the students aren't here clogging up traffic.
Near Seattle, WA. I love that we're surrounded by mountains and lakes, but close to the city too (not that we really go there though). I also love that you can typically drive over to the other side of the state and the weather will be completely different.
We're in the Chicago suburbs - about 20 minutes outside of the city. We love being so close to such a wonderful city and our town is great - wonderful schools, a great downtown area with restaurants and shopping, and it's where our families are.
Virgina Beach here. Being so close to the coast is nice, but we hardly ever actually go to the beach, haha.

Just north of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Love summertime up here and spending weekends at the cabin. Close enough to the cities to go out for entertainment but live in a small quiet town!
Sacramento, CA. Although we are the capitol city, there isn't a ton of things to do in the city for tourists. But we are wedged right in between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe/Reno, so it's a nice middle ground for fun weekend getaways. Also, I see so many people commenting that they like having 4 seasons, but I'm glad that we don't. No snow here!
We live in the St. Louis, MO area! I like it because there's so many things to do around the area, although I'm ready to move away for a while. We were both born and raised here and I'd love a change.
San Diego, CA. We have 2 Zoo's, Legoland, SeaWorld, Disneyland is just up the coast in Anaheim, beautiful beaches galore, traffic isn't as terrible as LA, but home prices really suck. Terribly inflated and new homes are $1mil+ so they cater to the high income families. We'll be here for a while, though, since my husband's industry is centered here.
I'm from Alberta, Canada. I love how diverse the ecology in the province is. We've got everything from snow peaked mountains, the badlands and beautiful prairies. No matter what kind of activities you're into there is somewhere to do them.

I'm in Seattle (obviously). I love the beauty of the city with the water, mountains, and lush greenery, but I hate the weather 10 months of the year. Also don't like that it's so far from everything, anywhere is a multi-hour plane ride. But it is cheaper and easier living than SF and the bigger east coast cities! I also like the liberal attitudes, could never do the Bible Belt.
We're in the Chicago suburbs - about 20 minutes outside of the city. We love being so close to such a wonderful city and our town is great - wonderful schools, a great downtown area with restaurants and shopping, and it's where our families are.
@Fourpeat we're in the Chicago burbs too! Love it!
Toronto, Ontario (Canada) here! Well actually a suburb nearby. I love being in a big city with lots to do but also being close to a slower lifestyle too. Traffic sucks and although I like winter, it could be a bit shorter!
Good to see there are a couple of other Missourians on here. I live on the opposite side though in Kansas City. But I have lived in central and south Missouri at different parts of my life too. I miss south MO actually and have had to adjust to KC. But I like KC because it's got a big heart. It's big city, but Midwestern style. I have however visited the east coast, northern and southern, the west coast, northern and southern, the north (Michigan and Minnesota) and Texas. And I have to say of all of them I'd love to live in Texas.
I'm in the Grand Rapids, MI area. I love Michigan because of the four seasons. I'm very excited because we are entering fall and its my favorite season. I also love living so close to Lake Michigan. We spend most of our summers in northern Michigan on the lake ❤️. So much fun to have the support of women from all corners of the world!
I live near Houston Texas and the only good thing is that there are 2 major airports nearby to take a trip away from this place. Just kidding, we fell in love with the mountains while living in New Mexico and hope to move somewhere like that one day again, but Texas fits the bill for now... its cheap, affordable, many opportunities and friendly people.
@Ekzerr, I'm in Manitoba, Canada as well!!! I love that we get snow in the winter. Although I don't like how long it lasts, I can't imagine having Christmas without snow!
