Is anyone on medrol feeling awful? I've had a lingering cold and was eventually getting better. Then I started medrol and it came raging back and I'm feeling like shit again. I really hope being sick doesn't affect my chances
Are you still taking all your prenatals and vitamins? Since I've been taking them for a year I have yet to get sick and the hubby has had 4 bad colds this year and I never got it once. Maybe take some Vitamin C 1000mg to knock that f'er out!

  • @LSatturo126 Haha, I added the 3/29 date to the tracker as well.  I only had your most recent ER date.  It's all good though, the dates that really matter to me are the FET and beta dates!! :)

I hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day weekend!  The weather here in NC is absolutely gorgeous.  High of 82 ish and sunny today.  I just want to be outside!!

  • @wifeinraleigh28 today IS beautiful!

So much more pleasant working in the garage than in 90 degree heat and humidity! My last DIY project for a while: a shabby-chic hamper. You can't see it from this pic, but it has wheels- which is the best part! I probably won't be doing very many projects if I get pregnant due to all the harsh chemicals and sawdust, so today is my last 'hurrah.'

Just have to throw some polycrylic on this bad boy and it's done!

  • @worldtravler0522 right there with ya with with blue discharge! Totally normal with taking it vaginally. I joke with DH that I'm turning into a smurf!
  • @Worldtravler0522 what is estrace? Lol blue discharge sounds fun.

Has as anyone ever done a FET with no drugs? it's starting to feel weird that I don't take anything at all. Scan tomorrow and then I get my date for transfer and that's it. Feels strange... My IVF cycle seemed to go fast because there was so many appts and drugs to take and things to keep my mind busy!

  • Love that hamper @LeFemmeViolette!  Nice work!!

@C-k Estrace thickens your lining while keeping your ovaries quiet during an FET cycle.  Since you aren't producing follicles, my guess is that way they can do the FET at any time once your lining is optimal since you don't have to worry about your body moving into the luteal phase (but I'm not a doctor).  They won't even have you take progesterone?  That seems strange.  I would LOVE to not be taking meds but I will do whatever I have to do.

  • @LeFemmeViolette - thanks for your earlier post bc it gave me the kick in the pants I needed to finish sanding and staining my Minipony wagon. My goal was to finish sanding it by the end of the weekend, but since our transfer is tomorrow, I conned my husband into helping stain it since I may be (hopefully!) preggers soon.

Im suuuuuper jacked to hook up my (fat) pony and go for a cruise in it. Will post an updated pic later this week!

Best of luck today @FatPony and @LSatturo126

I had my lining check today and we are at 9.7! Transfer has been officially scheduled for 9/13. I trigger tonight and start endometrin tomorrow.

@amp_slp We are now transfer buddies, I hope that is a great date for both of us.
  • @APM_SLP yay for a nice thick lining! That is so cool about 9/13 and it now being your transfer date!

Everyone is trucking along nicely it seems!!

AFM - I'm starting to get nervous about my u/s tomorrow to check my lining. This time last cycle it was just pitiful and I'm worried that even with the change in meds my body still won't be doing what it's supposed to. My RE called today just to confirm transferring  just one as she was putting in the paperwork for next week. Even she was basically like, I got my fingers crossed for you that you had a better response! I was waffling between transferring 1-2 but if my lining isn't that optimal, there's no point in wasting two embryos. Any good vibes for thick lining would be greatly appreciated! FX that I'll be starting PIO tomorrow (ugh, is it bad that I'm really hoping to be able to start it as much as it sucks?)

  • @mtpbadger Thinking thick thoughts for you tomorrow!

@APM_SLP That is amazing about your 9/13 date!  Yay!!

@FatPony CONGRATS!  Easy and relaxing TWW'ing lady!

  • @fatpony and @lsatturo126 congrats on your transfers and being PUPO! @fatpony glad to hear that your DH bought new shoes for the way home! What a funny story though!

Thanks all for the good thoughts! I'll update you all bright and early tomorrow with the preliminary results from the u/s - appointment is at 7am

  • Woohoo! @fatpony and @lsatturo126!! Loving all these positive posts we've got going today :)
@mtpbadger I feel you, I have my first lining check on Thursday and I'm nervous because I got cancelled last cycle because I never got above 6.5! I'm doing acupuncture this round, with estrogen patches, raspberry leaf tea, pomegranate juice and Vitamin E and B Complex. I found this thread online about this protocol and it worked for a few gals so figured I had nothing to lose! Best of luck to you on your  check up tomorrow, keep us posted!

@mjacks16 and @APM_SLP  thats awesome news and a nice cushy lining! Hope I'm going to be following in your footsteps!

Keep the good news coming September :)

  • @FatPony and @LSatturo126 yay to transfers being complete...Stick Stick!!!! @FatPony lol! That's so something my husband would do! bird poop is supposed to be lucky so maybe in this case dog poop is too lol!!!

Sounds like everyone is going well! I have a good feeling about this month!!!!
  • @ltlavac hope that protocol works for you! Last cycle I did acupuncture, raspberry leaf tea, and beet juice and none of it helped me much so I'm only doing the tea this cycle since I've grown to like the taste! My body is just weird though so hopefully the meds I'm on this round work their magic! I'm still trying to keep the mind set "it is what it is" and just go with the flow
  • @mjacks16 happy to have a transfer buddy!! Praying for both of us!! 1 week countdown!

@FatPony and @LSatturo126 fingers crossed for sticky babies!!  :D

I get my first lining check tomorrow... I really hope things are doing what they are supposed to be doing in there.   Does anyone else struggle with all the uncertainty with timing?   Example DH and I are going to the Smoky Mountains in October and I'm toying with the idea of extending the trip by a day but I don't know if we need to save that PTO day for more TTC activities. First world problems I know haha.

Just got to work after my lining check. It's still being a little stubborn at around a 5 but in looking back at my notes, last cycle at this time it was only a 3.9 so it's better than it has been! I have to wait for my nurse to call but I am going to guess I will continue meds for a bit Longer and my transfer will get pushed back, which I was anticipating so I won't be too upset.

These hormones are getting the best of me! I work with Veterans and one who used to be on my caseload just sent me the nicest thank you letter and I totally just lost it (I mean, I usually would tear up slightly b/c stuff like that is few and far between in my job) but I was practically bawling in my office. Thankfully no one else is here yet!

  • @mtpbadger I've come to accept that spontaneous crying is a fact of life for me right now haha.  I have Kleenex in every room of my house like a funeral home haha.  I hope things don't get pushed back too much for you!

  • @mtpbadger That is certainly comforting to know that your lining is thicker at this point than it was last month!  FX it continues to thicken appropriately!!!
