So I usually use the restroom a couple times a night. My fiancé is always getting after me because I don't turn the light on when I go. I don't want anything making it harder to get back to sleep. Last night I was having lots contractions and I realized after I got back in bed from a bathroom trip that maybe I should start turning the light on so I can check things out when I wipe.
I finally got a little burst of energy to do some deep cleaning and nesting done today. This is going to be a super busy week, culminating with my baby shower and me hosting my SIL's baby shower on Saturday. I just need to get through this week and then I can (hopefully) just hide out until the baby is born.
I posted in another thread that I just realized I'll be full term NEXT WEEK so I made DH finish reading the giving birth section of my pregnancy book this evening. When I asked him what he learned he said 1. It's possible for labor to progress so quickly that a woman can think she has to poop and then gives birth in the toilet and 2. That women often poop during labor. I am married to an 8-year-old...
I'm major nesting. I cleaned the grout in the kitchen with a toothbrush. I've cleaned areas I haven't touched since we moved in two years ago. I'm organizing the master closet next and then I'm going to Hobby Lobby and Lowes. I'm such an adult.
My husband just said "I'm not the one pushing a baby out, you just tell me what you need, we have had a kid before". Yeah, that totally worked last time *rolls eyes*
My husband just took my kids to the grocery store for the first time by himself. They only needed 3 things, and have been gone almost an hour. We live 4 minutes to the store. I'm almost scared to call and ask what they're doing.

Hahaha. @schell2013 Isn't it a shame when you can't just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet?
Mobile bumping is so annoying. About once a month it tells me I'm not logged in, even when I am. I try logging out and back in, but to no avail. So, none of the threads show up as read, and I have to start at the beginning of everything. And, seemingly, there's nothing I can do to resolve the issue. It randomly just starts working eventually. So. Annoying.
Right there with you @nlane0723 It all started with cleaning out the closet in my DD's new room. Then I had to find room for that stuff in the hall closet, which led me to clean that out which led me to clean out under the bathroom sink to find space for the stuff from the hall closet. You get the picture. Good news is I have finally started updating the nursery and washing all the baby clothes. So fun.

Man it was a busy weekend.. hoping I can find some nesting urges this week to clean out my closet! It's a disaster! Otherwise, just a busy week of soccer, gymnastics, and football for the kiddos!
Finally got everything put away, well mostly, from the shower Satuday. Now to work on the rest of my list.
Also, i took friday night and tonight off of work. Including my scheduled weekend off, that gave me 4 nights off work. Starting to get cabin fever. Even with a baby, not sure i can stand six weeks of being couped up in the house.
@F47 I know it's crazy you can't relax! @LauraPCOS he let them both get the kiddie shopping carts, and well my youngest doesn't aways listen the best or pay attention to where she is driving. Needless to say he had his hands full.

Same. We will be doing a lot of mall walking once I'm cleared to drive, etc. I can't stare at the walls or I will go nuts.
@byebabybunting GL to your son tomorrow! I'm sure he will do great!
I'm calling in to work today. I just can't. And the back pain. It's burning a day of maternity leave but it'll just be partially paid with disability if I have a C-section. Bleh.

I'm calling in today too. I really don't want to but my fiancé is insisting. I'm definetly sick and if I'm not better by this weekend we won't be able to go to the birth center for our birthing classes. I just feel awful because I worked from home Thursday and was off Friday and Monday.
Everything is so painful the last few days. So much back and groin pain and I'm contracting and/or cramping off and on. I so want to call off today too. But I've only got 7 days left before my maternity leave and I have two appts on my book today. Just my mom and grandma, but they tip good. Lol. Can't miss out on that.
But ive been too exhausted to even Bump lately. I've barely even had my phone with me the last week or so. So I've got about a million missed calls and texts, but I'm catching up on the Bump first. Lol
So I'm having contractions. They're still pretty mild and irregular, and I'm only 1cm dilated, but it sounds like this baby may be coming early. The OB advised me to call out of work today (I work at a hospital, but it's not the one where we're delivering and it's 25 miles away from home). I'm not ready for this! I was planning to make crockpot freezer meals, but I thought I had nearly 4 more weeks!!!
I took some Claritin this morning for the first time since I've been pregnant because my allergies are out of control. Well, it had made me feel like a crazy person. I guess it's the "non-drowsy" ingredient affecting me differently than when I'm not pregnant. I feel lightheaded, shaky and like my heart is pounding out of my chest. Hope this doesn't last for 24 hours!
