I didn't think I'd had any BHs until I was hooked up in L&D yesterday for monitoring and showed I was having some exactly when I was having stomach cramps...like the kind you get when you are going to have diarrhea. They've been coming and going mostly at night for me since Sunday. I mentioned it to my doctor and she said that BH's can manifest like that in a lot of FTMs. So poo cramps = BHs if you don't actually have to poo/nothing comes out.
Oh, TMI.

So jealous!!!!!!! I bet it looks awesome. I am dying to set ours up but it looks like our nursery furniture won't be coming until sometime between September 28-October 3. So right now we just have a sad empty room with a bunch of boxes and bags from our shower lying around . . . we can't even put the wall decals up because we need to see where the crib will go before deciding where it makes sense to put them. Damn thwarted nesting!

We just got stuck on the high rise bridge for about 20 minutes on the way home from dinner tonight as Hermine is pouring down rain on us. There was a wreck earlier that they were still cleaning up. All I could think about was....what if I went into labor right now?!

I vow to never let work and adulting keep me away for an entire week day ever again. I missed way too much. However, I must've been here in spirit because I had Taco Bell for lunch and it was glorious.
All the talk today of pizza rolls had me craving pizza but for once in hubby's life, he didn't want it. What do ya know I had Pizza Pockets in the freezer (pizza rolls on steroids lol). But son of a bitch I burned myself with the cheese as it squirted out and all I can think of what "you guys warned everyone"
I could post that picture everyday for the rest of my life, but I can guarantee it would still never stop me from eating my pizza rolls before they've cooled off... so don't feel bad @LauraPCOS
There was a lady in the clinic at the same time as me and I waited for almost an hour (due to the circumstances) in my room with the door open so overheard way way too much. They weren't able to get baby moving (she looked to be about the same size as me). So they got something sweet into her, and still nothing. Checked with the ultrasound machine and her baby had passed away. They admitted her to the birthing center side (parental clinic is in the same building) to be hooked up to pitocin to start induction. Hearing that poor mother sob in the room next to me, basically broke my heart into 100 pieces, and made me scared for my own baby cause it can happen anytime. So if your the praying type, pray for this mom, she has a long long sad night ahead of her. I just can't even imagine the heartbreak. I could barely hold it together when he came in and did my appointment, thankfully he didn't ask me much. I could just about see tears in his eyes, and the clinic was pretty quiet and sad after that. Ive cried on and off all evening for that poor mom.

My biggest fear @Schell2013 ... So sad. So sorry to that family and I feel so bad that you had to experience that.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
Awe thanks, I think it's always in everyone's mind @sportiegrl1213 but actually hearing it first hand made me realize how lucky I am having this baby booting the crap out of me and keeping me up at night peeing.

@Schell2013 I'll take all the kicking, knowing he's ok in there. Geez I literally just had tears for that poor lady. I can't even phathom going thru that.
What hurts the most about that is I know 2 friends that this happened too and they still had to deliver. I can't ... I just can't imagine

@Schell2013 I can't imagine going through that, that poor woman. It happened to one of my best friend's a couple years ago, just days before her due date...it haunts me, and I can only imagine how it haunts her. Thinking of that woman and her family!
on on a lighter note, I keep checking back here looking for a birth announcement! I can't wait to hear that everything went well for our fellow bumpie with her cs yesterday. (Not tagging bc I didn't want her to have to read about all the other bad stuff right now... Unless she chooses to on her own)
I'm in worried mom mode this morning. @mrszoess and all of our other east coast mamas, stay safe! I'm going to worry about our first reg baby until we see some pictures. And my house was shaken by an earthquake this morning. At least I have college football to distract me from these worries.
@LGW2015 Yeah, they happen all the time where I live (OK), but this was the strongest one I've ever experienced. Not enough to cause any serious damage, but enough to give my house a nice, long shake.
@Schell2013 I was in tears reading your story. I can't imagine the sadness.
I know we had another Oct. 16 birth and she hasn't posted over here yet but I will try to remind her!
Sorry I missed the British dh convo! Dh is from Scotland and loves world market. We will order Cameron meat pies once or twice a year too. I love his Tate & Lyle golden syrup... Yummy. Anyone else's dh make lots of curry?
Three more weekends of sleeping in for me. I'm enjoying being in bed next to my sleeping husband, three cats, and two dogs... It's going to be totally different soon.
Yesterday I took a spill chasing our 2 year old because he took off toward the road....as I heard a car coming Thankfully I landed on my knees and LO has been rolling around...but this did not help my pelvic pain. It was finally easing up and I jarred myself yesterday when I took of running today I can barely move without yelping. Thank goodness this is a 3 day weekend for me.
@Schell2013 That is such an awful thing to have to witness... I am so sorry for that mother, and so sorry you had to share in that experience ;(
@ball4768 I am two hours away from you and that earthquake rocked my house and made my action figures fall off their display shelf... woke me right up!
I hope our girl is doing great with her new squishy LO, I know how terribly busy she is right now, but I hope she remembers us soon
@ball4768 we had a super minor quake here like 5 years ago...I'm personally more scared of that than flooding.
my issue is wind. we lost everything in hurricane sandy and now when there's a wind storm I get incredibly anxious. thankfully DH will be home so that will help.
HELP!! I'm locked out of my house and currently have to pee every 20 minutes. Hub won't be home for an hour. I'm sitting here on the bump to pass time, and thought my special snowflake complaint could go here
@gatorMom2014 do you at least have a semi-private Bush to pee in?
Btw if anybody needs entertainment check out the "you know you're still pregnant when" thread on September 16. We have so much to look forward to, October.

@schell2013 That is so heartbreaking and I'm sorry you had to be a part of it.
so I guess I'll put this here so I don't comment in birth announcements. @lmno304 you are a very strong mama. Sending positive thoughts and prayers for your family and your little boy.

On other fronts I just vomited so hard I peed myself. Like not a little bit, enough that my pants are quite wet. Thank God I'm at home.

Ugh that story is heartbreaking. My baby moved when I started to get worried and I just want to cry tears of thankfulness. My thoughts are with her.
