Yes! I'm PGAL so to keep my mind from anxiety I've been re-reading eh Harry Potter series and loving it. I've usually got a few books going though. I just finished Go Set a Watchman and A Court of Thorns and Roses.
Huge reader here with a huge passion for YA literature! I dream of one day going back to school to be a librarian/advocate for kids reading/some sort of something.
@Omie_Wise I love it so far, it's just so dense in some parts lol. War and Peace is on my list too!
@shoegirl1975 same. that's definitely what is slowing me down with this book. I'm annoyed that she keeps dancing around the barbecue--still in the beginning. I get suspense but she's just taking way too long to set it all up.
@thecavfamily What did you think of The Shipping News? We read it for book club a few months ago and it didn't go over well. At least it was short?!?
@Ashleym112and @Shoegirl1975 I am also reading Truly Madly Guilty and put it down in favor of another book that was due back to the library, I couldn't get into it. I think I'll try again though.
@Missa0830, I enjoyed The Shipping News... breezed through on vacation last week. Annie Proulx writes beautifully succinct sentences. Her book that I finished before that, however, was 700+ pages and, while well written, took me longer than usual.
I love to read though I wish I had more time to do it, said every parent I'm sure. I finished The Girl on the Train a month ago and really liked it! I'm a HUGE Jodi Picoult fan and can't wait for her next release next month.
@mylittleirvs I'm in the middle of When Breath Becomes Air as well. It's really good but I gotta pick my moments when I can pick it up and read for awhile. I don't really want it to end.
@clickclackmoo I'm trying to read Light Between Oceans but I'm having a hard time getting into it. Does it take awhile and you think it's worth it?

@kcasset and @cookies754 if you like Emily Giffin, you'll probably enjoy Singles!

Just a thought...could we start a book club on here?
That could be fun!!!
