@lilmissslp it's so hard, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Do your best to keep yourself distracted- but I know it's not easy; it consumes you. If you are struggling to wait until next week, you can always take a high sensitive test in a few days. Tests that read at 50, this way you can see if it doubled. I did that when I was in limbo, it helped me get through the weeks. But remember my miscarriage was a totally different scenario--I was WAY past 8dp. I was at 13/14 or something, so 16 at that point is bad. 25 at 8 days is actually really good- your doctor shouldn't have tortured you by testing you so early.

@lilmissslp I am so sorry to hear that you are stuck in an emotional limbo. I hope that your numbers continue to double strong! Like many other ladies say, it is very early! The earliest my clinic will test is 13 days unless the weekend throws off the schedule.

Hello everyone, I've been watching everyone's progress from the shadows and WOW, congrats to all those positives! I hope everyone who wasn't as lucky this cycle finds a new plan. AFM - I worked with my RE to figure out what went wrong last time. Turns out I'm one of the 5% that Ganirelix doesn't work on...booo! So we are working with my natural cycle and I started microdose lupron today, stims on Friday. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic. I'll probably be posting back and forth here and on the sept/oct forum

I cleaned up our tracker a little bit. I moved people to the bottom of the chart (not included in the screenshot I posted) who said they had August cycles but who we haven't heard from in awhile. I will happily move you back up to the appropriate spot if you want to join in again! I also moved people down who have cycles in October or later (TBD) or who had cancelled cycles. I only did this to keep the list more manageable!
@BlueEyedDreamer CONGRATS on your amazing second beta!! I've been rooting for you since the June/July board, and I'm so happy you finally got your BFP (and a REAL BFP this time)!! When will your ultrasound be?
@lilmissslp I'm not sure what else I can add but I definitely want to echo what everyone else is saying about it being early for you. I'm so sorry you're in this emotional limbo. I would definitely push to get an earlier appointment! We pay a lot of money to our clinics so I think that entitles us to some say in how things go!!! Thinking of you!

AFM- It is day 5 of Estrace and I have not been feeling too well. Last night I felt really headache-y and nauseous. Today I'm feeling better but I can definitely feel my energy levels are not where they usually are. I'm hoping my body gets used to this medication. Transfer will be 2 weeks from Friday if all goes according to plan! Lining check this Friday at 9am

My U/S yesterday wasn't as promising as Monday- there wasn't any growth but my E2 levels were excellent so it was 'wait and see' again today. Today they've grown and my E2 levels are still rising. Doing my Cetrotide shot tonight with a tentative retrieval of Sunday. Fingers crossed they can grow those last few millimeters!

@byrneme - I am surprised they are checking you every day. I went in on Monday and today. I started stims on 8/19 and my largest is 19 right now, and most are in the 15-16 range. Mine are only growing 1-2mm per every two days and they said that it is going good. It is progressing slowly but they don't seem concerned that they aren't going to make it. I'm sure they will grow, they are just growing slowly.

I was originally scheduled for retrieval today/tomorrow or Friday with appointments Monday/Tuesday but, with the slow growth, they've just had me come in to make sure the E2 levels are climbing. But I notice you started your Cetrotide last week and you still aren't scheduled for ER? That seems like a long time between the shots and retrieval!

@byrneme - I was originally scheduled for the beginning of this week for retrieval. I started Cetrotide last week because my one dominate follicle was over 12mm on Friday. They normally start Cetrotide when it gets over 12mm. My left ovary is struggling to grow fast because there are so many follicles on that side They are upping my dose of gonal-f tonight, in hopes that the 14-15mm ones will be over 16 tomorrow and have a retrieval on Saturday. If they aren't, I will have at least 1 more day of stims and it will push retrieval out to Sunday (which is my birthday).

Thanks so much for your support ladies. The nurse and I played phone tag today so I never got to actually speak to her. They didn't offer to move up the beta and I'm not sure why. Part of me is wondering if they figure I'll get my period soon and not need go in. Who knows?! They did at least give me meds to get trough until next week. This waiting game is rough. I could cry at any minute.

I go tomorrow for my second beta but I pretty sure i won't feel reassured from it unless it is crazy high. Sounds so negative and so crazy but I'm too scared. The cramping is pretty bad and the staining is a lot.. It feels WAY too much like last month. I don't even want to get my hopes up.
If I was 51 on Monday then I should be 100 tomorrow right?

I had an ultrasound and injection teaching today. Ultraound revealed 21 (R) & 18 (L) follicles and a corpus luteum cyst. I start Lupron on Friday, then will start stimming somewhere between cd 2 & 4 after my period comes (who knows when that will be... the nurse warned that the Lurpron could delay my period up to a week). With the onset of my period, I'll go in for an ultrasound to verify that the cyst has gone away. Looking like my ER will be probably the last week of September.
DH got to give a practice IM shot under the nurse's supervision. I didn't feel it at all! All I felt was a tickling feeling from him grabbing on my butt/hip area.

I had another ultrasound and bloodwork this morning. I am feeling a bit frustrated. My left ovary has so many follicles, they are not wanting to grow. The largest of the 20-25 on that side is 16mm. The right side I have 10-15 my Largest is 23mm and smallest is 15mm. The nurses seemed a little stumped as to what to do so, I have to wait and see if I will trigger tonight or tomorrow.

I feel like now that we are moving forward and have an u/s coming up that 1. I am more paranoid now 2. I freak out over every little cramp 3. This feels more stressful than the whole IF process my DH and I went through
also either this PIO is making me super bloated or I wont be able to hide this much longer because I already have a little belly! and being 5'2 theres no hiding this, I keep telling my husband its wayyyyyyyyy to early for a belly!

I cleaned up our tracker a little bit. I moved people to the bottom of the chart (not included in the screenshot I posted) who said they had August cycles but who we haven't heard from in awhile. I will happily move you back up to the appropriate spot if you want to join in again! I also moved people down who have cycles in October or later (TBD) or who had cancelled cycles. I only did this to keep the list more manageable!
@BlueEyedDreamer CONGRATS on your amazing second beta!! I've been rooting for you since the June/July board, and I'm so happy you finally got your BFP (and a REAL BFP this time)!! When will your ultrasound be?
@lilmissslp I'm not sure what else I can add but I definitely want to echo what everyone else is saying about it being early for you. I'm so sorry you're in this emotional limbo. I would definitely push to get an earlier appointment! We pay a lot of money to our clinics so I think that entitles us to some say in how things go!!! Thinking of you!

AFM- It is day 5 of Estrace and I have not been feeling too well. Last night I felt really headache-y and nauseous. Today I'm feeling better but I can definitely feel my energy levels are not where they usually are. I'm hoping my body gets used to this medication. Transfer will be 2 weeks from Friday if all goes according to plan! Lining check this Friday at 9am

Doing my Cetrotide shot tonight with a tentative retrieval of Sunday. Fingers crossed they can grow those last few millimeters!

My first beta came in today at 285. It can finally start to feel quasi-real, maybe.
@lilmissslp I'm sorry!!! Are you going to test at home before beta #2?
I go tomorrow for my second beta but I pretty sure i won't feel reassured from it unless it is crazy high. Sounds so negative and so crazy but I'm too scared. The cramping is pretty bad and the staining is a lot.. It feels WAY too much like last month. I don't even want to get my hopes up.
If I was 51 on Monday then I should be 100 tomorrow right?
