@sjo_thetwins Maybe the girls just want to watch our first game of the season?!? Just kidding I hope they stay in a couple more days at least! Thanks for keeping us updated!

@LGW2015 I'll be taking one every night from here on out I think. FI has a bunch of leftover Zantac 150 I'm going to jump all over, he has had to move on to Nexium for any kind of effective relief, so the Zantac is fair game now. I'm also going to take a Benedryl tonight and try that out. I can't keep going like this, I'm so exhausted and irritable, and forgetful on top of that... those just don't pair well with homework and homemaking.
@RainMira9e omg return of the fireboobs to our symptoms threads! Sucks but hopefully this relieves the stabby feeling a little
Lovely new symptom, my feet are now sweating almost all day long starting a couple days ago. I've never had sweaty feet and it is happening in a/c in flip flops even, so weird
I feel like kind of an a$$ hat for complaining about this. But, I made it through 41 weeks of pregnancy with DS and 31 weeks with this little guy without a stretch mark. Until today. Right across the left middle of my belly. 72 weeks of pregnancy combined! Such high hopes...dashed.
1. My vagina hurts. 2. My ear (?) hurts. Like an ear infection? Weird. 3. I now snore like a bear and wake myself up. Last night I was worried I kept waking DH up so I loved to the couch, which is actually more comfy anyway. 4. Holy swelling. My best friend dubbed my feet fankles this weekend (thanks, BFF). In case you're wondering, those are ankles that just seamlessly transition to feet, instead of cankles (calves that go to ankles seamlessly).
I haven't seen this anywhere, so let me know if I missed it. For the past few months, I feel very congested at night and by morning can barely swallow and my nose is plugged. It is like I have developed a very thick, mucus-like saliva. I'm not even really able to swallow it - I have to swallow hard. It is like I have phlegm in my throat and when I go to swallow, and can't and try to cough it up, I gag and vomit a little. It is worst in the morning, but also happens throughout the day. I am going to bring it up to my OB next week when I go. I never brought it up to her becasue I just dealt with it and she always rushes me out and I never get to ask her anything. Is there anyone else with this thick spit issue? Or what could help? I often chew on gum and it sometimes makes my spit thinner to swallow. I try to drink more water, but since it is hard to swallow, I am like forcing them down. It is very annoying and I just want to breath and swallow properly.
Sleep has been really horrible lately. I'm beyond exhausted and it's all catching up to me. I had to take a day off as much as I don't have the extra time, I literally couldn't get out of bed, I'm still in bed. Hopefully a good day of rest will help. I know I need to get used to not sleeping much when my son arrives but it would be nice to get as much rest as I can now.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
So this is a first - I've always been able to be a #squeezer and get colostrum to come out of both nips. But this morning, I woke up to what I thought was my nipple just cold. Lo and behold, it was not cold, it was leaking all down my arm. I didn't even know it could leak that much pre-babies!
I'm with you on the poor sleep @sportiegrl1213. Mine is actually one of the temporary side effects I experience starting back up on Prozac... But pregnancy doesn't help because I'm waking up so often though out the night and then having a hard time falling back to sleep bc of the meds. It blows!
side note- that temporary side effect usually takes a long while to go away. I'm so worried that it's going to make sleeping when the baby sleeps more difficult for me and then I'll be even more tired
@Julia70286 - I've had ear pain (like an ear infection) on and off for pretty much the whole pregnancy. I've Googled and it's actually a thing. I suffer from ear infections even as an adult and know that most go away without the need for meds, so I haven't really done anything about it but then found out it's probably just a pregnancy side effect and not a real infection.
I feel like baby has dropped. I'm 32+5 and can't shake this feeling that she's going to come really early. I haven't had any contractions or anything, I just haven't been feeling well this whole week and very suddenly am feeling very, very large and uncomfortable. I'm in my sister's wedding October 1st, so my new goal is to make it to October 3rd.

@littlewillie2016, try running a humidifier and using saline nasal spray before bed. If you wake up in the night to to go to the bathroom, use it again, and in the morning to thin it out. A neti pot is my number one recommendation, but a lot of people don't like to use it. It works REALLY well to clean out those nasal passages and back of the throat though!
New-ish symptom the past few days - Idk why I forgot to post this on my original reply. Massive episodes of shortness of breath. They are brief and only last a few minutes, but during it my chest suddenly feels really heavy and my airways get sort of constricted. It feels like I am "bearing down" without actually pushing...like the sensation in your chest and head and all the pressure that builds up. My heart pounds. It's like baby is resting on one of my arteries or something. Sitting up straight makes it a little better, gets way worse laying down, even on my left side. Going to talk to the midwife about it if it keeps happening. It's a really scary feeling.
@kmolleltz I am puking religiously every morning. Wtf!! And my whole drive to work consists of blasting cold air on myself and trying not to throw up again. I thought this was supposed to end after the first tri too!! It totally sucks!!
@kmolleltz and @Pupatella ugh same here. I'm back to feeling "starving and nauseous so nothing sounds appealing" then when I eat I'm "full and even more nauseous". So over it!
@sjo_thetwins You might be leaking more because of how much your body has progressed in preparation for labor, your hormones are probably signaling your chest girls that your baby girls are preparing to make their debut.
@LGW2015 I slept so much better last night! I took a Zantac, and since we had no Benedryl I took one Tylenol PM out of desperation, and it's the best sleep I've gotten in a long time. I had a hard time falling asleep at first, and I did wake up once, but fell back asleep pretty easily PLUS no heartburn, no body aches, and I somehow didn't have to pee either. Yay!
@littlewillie2016 I see you've already gotten some suggestions, but just wanted to add you aren't alone on the thick saliva or congestion, it made my throat sore for a while buy kind of let up on its own. I notice it's worse if I eat or drink sugary things too close to bed time, so I try to stick to just water after 7pm.
@Julia70286 Right?? I don't know if it had anything to do with the Tylenol or Zantac, but it was magical and I am grateful that I had a pee-free night. I won't bank on it happening again though.
@sjo_thetwins Agreed with @AllyTheKid , I don't think your boobs got the memo to slow down, despite the doctors and the rest of your body working hard to keep those girls in a little longer.
I'm about to go take a nap in our medical break room. It's crazy, because I'm not necessarily sleeping poorly at night, but I'm still sooooo tired.
wahhh. I went to the medical break room and it's empty! They are renovating and relocating it, but they took out the nurse's bed from the old room before getting the new room set up. I'm so sad. Somebody told me that just meant that I had to go home to nap. Unfortunately that somebody was not my boss, so I'm not sure if I can follow their advice
@allythekid I pee anywhere from 4 - 7 times a night. But, if I take a Benadryl (I've only done it a few nights because DS wakes up a lot at night wanting me and it's just not worth it) I pee maybe once or twice. I think the reason I'm up so much to pee is that I'm sleeping so lightly. If I have to go just a little bit, I'm suddenly awake and just go get it done because otherwise I'll just lay there thinking about it.
But, that little bit of pee wouldn't wake me from a deep sleep.
@sjo_thetwins- just catching up on this thread. I'm so sorry your LO will have to under go surgery right after birth. But as the others have already said, it's a blessing that they were able to figure out what is going on and have a plan in place now! I hope your girls stay in a little longer! But very exciting to think that they will be here soon! Did they have estimated weights on them (sorry if I missed this)!?

@F47 4-7 times per night?! I would die. I must be one of the lucky ones on that front because I only get up once at the most. But I'm also known for being exceptionally lazy and holding it because I just don't want to get up haha

this is exactly what I think when I see girls on here saying they get up this often I'm typically a once a night-er too
@sportiegrl1213 So I tried the braces at night for the carpel tunnel...2 hours after going to bed I woke up in a panic, my hands were starting to swell inside the brace, so I started taking them off and they were a struggle to get off O.O I ended up changing pillows (I think I tuck my hand under my pillows while I sleep and one is extremely heavy being a bamboo pillow) - that helped a bit but they're still swollen and achy
But I'm also known for being exceptionally lazy and holding it because I just don't want to get up haha
I tired to do that the other night and of course got kicked in the bladder and almost wet the bed. I couldn't clench hard enough as I waddled to the bathroom and started peeing before even sitting down.

@sjo_thetwins hoping your babies stay put a little longer, and that it's just a cyst for little Carlisle. Always sending positive vibes your way!
@littlewillie2016 maybe try running a humidifier at night? That's helped with my congestion.
