We find out the sex of this baby in two weeks, but I overwhelmingly think this baby is a girl.
We are awful girl name pickers. Awful.
I hate traditional names, hubs only likes the name Lyla.
I love boy names for girls. Currently on my list is Sawyer, Saylor, Blakely, Lincoln, and Sterling (I'm also accepting opinions on these).
I'm looking for something sassy and fun, but not made up nor difficult to say when you look at the letters. Middle name is going to be Joanne.
Big Brothers name is Walker.
Give me your best suggestions.

I get that you like boy names for girls, but your daughter might not appreciate it. So I gave suggestions of lovely girls names that can easily be shortened for a nick name that is masculine.

I have no suggestions other than a feminine name with a masculine nickname (I like Charlotte nn Charlie), but I will respond to OP's existing list: Saylor is terrible for either sex, and Lincoln is bad for a girl. If you really want to do this, the others aren't horrible, but not my particular jam. A lot of celebrities are naming their daughters James and Wyatt now, so I guess you can add those too.
FWIW, and if you care, the problem a lot of people have with this trend is that it seems like the people who are on board with it don't want their daughter to have a feminine name because female names are weaker, or are seen as not as good as male names. It should not be this way. if you truly just LIKE male names on girls ask yourself this: would you ever give a son a girl's name? Would you name your son Karen? Or Megan? Or Jessica? Or even a traditionally male name that has been taken over by females now, like Kelly or Ashley or Leslie? I doubt it. Why is it ok to give a girl a male name but not the other way around? It's because a boy with a girl's name would get made fun of, right? Because girls are supposed to be weak and boy are supposed to be strong. Ugh. I just really hate this.

I personally think using a feminine name with a masculine nickname (if you're dead set on using a masculine name) would be a nice option for your daughter. A few of my friends daughters who have masculine names are now reaching the age where they're self conscious and upset about being given a "boy name".. Just something to keep in mind

Luckily its my child. I get to decide what to name him or her. You don't have to love it, but you also don't have to be hateful

I know she asked for opinions, but the some of the names posted had nothing to do with unisex names that she wanted, and something's come off harsh and hateful. Everyone has a different opinion on names, everyone on here decided to be mean, and not nice to be mean, and I also get mean things said to me when I say nothing back, so I know how it feels to be her, not saying you can't comment, but at least post names that can be used for a boy or a girl. She didn't ask for smart mouths.
-Making fun of my current son's name was hateful.
Maybe the bump will give me my other post back at some point? If not this is a much shorter version. I'll stick with my BMB from here on out. Have fun naming the future generation ladies.

"Boy names" for a "baby girl"
It is quite clear. Now if Douglas is not what you have in mind, then perhaps she doesn't want "boy names" for a baby girl. She wants hipster/trendy names for a baby girl. Johnny Cash said it perfectly as a Boy Named Sue.

As a feminist, I see giving a girl a masculine name as giving in to the patriarchy. Fuck that. I want my daughter to know that Leona is just as valuable a person as Leon.
