@SoInLoveCJ2011 carpal tunnel is the devil!! I found wearing a wrist warp at night helps alleviate some pain for during the day. But it still sucks!!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
And again when I was listening to The Longest Shortest Time episode about the woman who reluctantly ate her encapsulated placenta because her friend thought it would prevent postpartum depression. And then I actually started considering doing that despite the fact that there are no scientific studies on the practice. Sigh. Totally irrational.
I was irrationally mad at the friend in this situation lol I thought it was so shitty to push something like that onto your friend! "me and my mom are going to shell out a bunch of cash to encapsulate your placenta because you have a history of depression and we're worried about you, but you can totally say no." SO much implied pressure!
@sportiegrl1213 I wear the braces at night but mine are still going numb I bought Blue Emu cream at CVS supposedly doesn't have aspirin and that's been helping with the pain. I just cant do anything without it going numb.
@MorganL925 I'm jealous that your Old Navy sells maternity in store. It sure would save me a lot of time. I swear I've never returned so much in my life than maternity clothes from Old Navy.
I've heard of leg cramps, but bicep cramps?! Wtf is that
The sciatica and tailbone pain is getting worse. No protruding limbs, but im not exactly skinny and have an anterior placenta so not sure that's gonna happen.
The swelling in my feet is so bad that my toes hurt. Also, baby is now head down and it's a whole new kind of uncomfortable. I don't have room to breathe. My nose, face, and legs are completely swollen and I'm so sad because I still have 8 more weeks to go and it's not going to get any easier.
I'm now dealing with a waddle, I'm extra hungry for some reason, get the shakes bad if I don't eat like every hour, heartburn, general discomfort in lower abdomen. I'm surprised I'm not dealing with swollen feet since I have a job I stand all day at. I have to get a 3 hour glucose tolerance test for GD:( I hope that goes well. Also had to do a urine collection so they can check for preeclampsia. It's been fun lol. I love little Eleanor so much though.
Add me to the freaking emotional rollercoaster train. I feel so bad.... ANYTHING can and will make me break down. My sister is coming in to town tomorrow for the baby shower this weekend and she's staying with us. I asked SO if he would take some time to pick up the house, etc...and I had a meltdown.

I don't remember if it was this thread, and I don't remember who posted, but somebody said try shredded wheat for poo issues...and I need to thank that person! I've never been so excited to poop! Lol
Ach, sorry, stupid untaggable screenname. @UponAStar16 and @mrszoess reality is probably pretty anti-climactic. My pelvis bones stick out really far and my bump is just starting to expand around them (hence, I'm assuming, the nerve pain), so when I lay down I can push my fingertips or the side of my hand down in the little bit of remaining space and kind of shift my bump a bit. I tried to take a picture but it just looks like I'm karate chopping my bump, haha. But yeah, he just did the same thing. It was totally random chance that baby's heartbeat was right there where we were really pushing. But still pretty cool
does anyone feel like their gag reflex is suddenly super sensitive? I've never had a problem with mine and I tend to have the terrible habit of putting things (holding them with) in my mouth when I need to use my hands for something else. I don't even know if I am properly describing that. But anyway, throughout pregnancy my gag reflex has gotten worse and worse to the point where I can barely brush my teeth without gagging/almost vomiting.
I have super funky breath these days. It doesn't matter how much I brush my teeth/use mouthwash/chew on mints, gum, etc...it's not going away. I think it stems from something more internal and is not directly from my mouth, if that even makes sense?! Has anyone else experienced and/or know a remedy?
@kmolleltz yes! My own mouth can make me gag if I have an aftertaste. I used to have a pretty strong stomach (or mind over matter) but now it's the smallest thing and I can gag.
@Kaessi I don't have a solution, but yea this happens to me. Sometimes I think it's because of the acid in my stomach because if I eat, it tends to be better.
@Kaessi I thought mine smelled bad too, but FI said he didn't think so or at least didn't notice and said it's probably just my nose. Which makes sense.
@bnsmith Not dehydrated that I know of - I'm drinking over a gallon of water a day and the pee looks good thus far
@AllyTheKid That makes sense too. I haven't asked, but my H hasn't
said anything to me about my breath, and I feel he would if it was as
bad as I feel it is. I am having a lot of allergy issues and it just crossed my mind that it could have something to do with that? On top of not breathing well because of baby and no room, I think my breathing is worse due to the allergies as well. My H commented last night that I was breathing hard and I hadn't even noticed.
@kmolleltz yep definitely. Especially since my nausea has returned. I'm going to need a miracle to get through the dentist next week without throwing up, I'm awful at the dentist normally! What was I thinking...
I vote allergies too. I've been snoring a lot, sleeping with my mouth open because of mine, which causes the worst breath. Which, I didn't have allergies prior to becoming pregnant. Now DH will poke me when I'm snoring, causing me to wake up AND NEVER FALL BACK ASLEEP. I sleep smacked the shit out of his hand last night and then woke up. And laid in bed for an hour and a half before falling back to sleep.
Me: 31
DH: 32
Married: Sep 2012
TTC #1: Jan 2015 Baby A (via IUI due to MFI): Sep 2016 born at 35+6
Surprise but very welcome + on 5/16/2019, EDD 1/25/2020
@kmolleltz Mine was bad with my first. Brushing my teeth was awful! I just knew my molars were going to be full of cavities because I could barely open my mouth enough to brush without gagging.
Sigh. This morning, after a very light workout, I had some water and ate five grapes then took a shower. After getting dressed, I proceeded to vomit so hard that I peed my pants. What a pleasant start to a morning.
I'm with everyone on the tailbone pain and heartburn. I never had this kind of tailbone pain with my first...the past couple days it's been so bad I can hardly get myself up off the couch. My chiropractor recommended using an exercise ball and sitting with legs open wide and doing big figure 8's side to side. Maybe that might help?
Also +1 on the sensitive gag reflex @kmolleltz. Ick.
@krzyriver What maternity belt did you end up getting? I have one, but I'm not loving it.
@ignoscemihi No fun! I hope the rest of your day is better. *Hugs*
I woke up with awful leg cramps this morning. Usually I only get them if I don't drink enough water, but I drank my 64oz and a huge glass of milk yesterday. Guess I need more than that....
@sidecarsareforbishes It's called The Ultimate Maternity Belt from the Motherhood Maternity store. I admit I have not worn it for a whole day, so I'm not sure how much I love it yet. My cousin recommended it to me. She said it was uncomfortable on really long days, but but that it really helped her. Which one did you get?
@krzyriver I got the Azmed one on Amazon. It has good reviews, but I just haven't noticed a big difference now that I'm this far into my pregnancy. That one from Motherhood looks pretty similar to the Azmed though. I must be the weird one! I'm thinking about something that also goes over the top of the belly like this. Or just sucking it up and being uncomfortable for the next 7 or so weeks.
@sidecarsareforbishes I thought about that one too, but it looks really uncomfortable to me. We're probably just trading one type of discomfort for another honestly. Lol
I've been feeling really cranky the last few days and just not my normal self. I don't want to share my kids with anyone and my MIL is pissing me off and I don't even actually know why really. Normally I would be happy for her to take my kids for a morning so I could have free time to do my stuff but when she mentioned it today and I drove by and saw my SIL vehicle there I was like nope not happening. For those who don't know. My SIL and I do not speak anymore for a multiple of reasons but mostly due to her shitty boyfriend that is into bad things and I refuse to make it easy for her to see my kids, ever. And she hasn't since July long weekend.

For those with head down babies what types of movements are you feeling in your lower belly and pelvis area? My second baby was breech and I can't remember from when I had my first.
