So I have a dilemma. If I take my Unisom and B6 at night I'm less likely to barf the next day (still happens occasionally) but I'm so effing groggy, and it last most of the day. If I skip it, I'm a little more prone to barf and nausea, but more wakeful. Although if I do puke I tend to just be exhausted after. Anyone have luck just doing B6 at night, or is there a reason it's prescribed together?

B6 alone does nothing for me. Half a unisom has worked okay for me though. Or could you get a script for diclegis? I think it's essentially the same thing, but it does not make me drowsy.
I'm starting to feel more nauseous as I wake up in the morning, it's not to the point of throwing up, but it's there and uncomfortable. My appetite is being screwy with me again too; I had about a week where I could finally eat dinner and have my regular portions again, but I've gone back to getting full ridiculously fast. Also food doesn't really look that appealing to me right now, it takes me forever to find out what I want to eat and even when I do choose it's more of a "meh, it'll do" scenario. I've apparently lost weight(I don't really know since I don't weigh myself regularly), but a bunch of people have said they can definitely see it in my face, so I guess it's significant. My midwife said I have to gain about 5-7lbs, and when I do eat I try to make it a little fattier, I suppose we'll see what she says at my next appointment.
Ok ladies.....at what point do I call my OB regarding the vomiting? I'm throwing up regardless of whether I eat or don't eat. 50% of the time I'm dry heaving and the other 50% I'm throwing up what I ate. Sorry for the TMI. But it's scaring me when I'm throwing up food because the last 2 times I almost choked on it. I feel like I shouldn't even try eating anything solid right now.
@AfKash I'd call now! There's no reason to suffer if you can get some relief. I still throw up a lot with meds, but without it would be literally all day long. So for you, I'm sure meds would be an improvement.
Thank you @Starfish113 ! My sister said the same thing so I had the doctor on-call paged. He's taking his sweet time to call me back, though. Probably thinks it's NBD.

Speak of the devil, he just called me back. He said it's ok for me to not eat any more solids but I have to continue drinking. And if I can't keep liquids down, either, I need to go to the ER. However, if I can at least drink without vomiting, I can wait until tomorrow to go in and see him. So I'm going to try just sipping on 7up for now. I don't think I'm dehydrated yet. Thank you again, @Starfish113 !!

Oh good!!! Just sip for now and I'm sure you'll make it till morning. Then you can get some relief YAY! Update us once you get some meds
@AfKash Once you get the meds you'll see a world of difference... some days I still get sick several times, but I have some days with the meds where I am keeping things down and those days I try to catch up on fluids and food.
Ladies, you are all so sweet and caring! Thank you for asking!
I'm feeling the same right now. Very nauseous. I called the office and told them the doc wanted me to come in, so the girl said she'll give the message to the nurse. Now waiting for the nurse to call me back. I'm hoping she can just order me something over the phone lbecause I'm too tired to get dressed.
Edit: Continuing my update in this week's symptom thread.
1. How many weeks are you? 15w5d 2. What are your symptoms this week? Killer headaches 3. Rants/raves/questions/concerns? Any secret and/or amazing remedies? I had to stay home from work today as it hurts to open my eyes I remember a few of these with my first too. So far I'm taking Tylenol and a bit of caffeine (tea).

I have always been sensitive to things with sleepy side effects, so I'll do the half and see if it's better.
