@mrsyimster Girl that sucks bigtime. I am right there with you (with a single though). Mine are also super critical of everyone including us. They have an only son I'm married to. Mom can't handle sharing him. I'm expecting the same exact reaction. Not looking forward to sharing the news! Congrats to you!!! Hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy

So annoyed. I miss living 5 min from all our families where I have help. We moved over 2 hours away last fall. Anyway, My doctor did an abdominal US yesterday but couldn't make out anything but a sac because I have a tilted uterus and my bladder is in the way. So she had me schedule a vaginal US today. Well the office doesn't open until noon and the earliest apt is 1:00. Right when my kiddos usually go down for nap and I would have to bring them. My husband has big meetings today. So I really don't want to go any longer without seeing this little bean (I'm 8 weeks) but I think the smart thing to do is reschedule for next week. Grrr
@JessyKV any chance there's a late afternoon appointment? Maybe after the big meetings?
Sorry. I called back and no other appointments today. I'm going to chance it and go and bring lots of snack, toys and my double stroller and hope for the best.
I'm the same!! I swear I always crave it on Sunday! That is just awful that they were closed today!! You need to write a strong worded letter to corporate

Went grocery shopping today. Got ice cream because I've been wanting some and been too lazy to make my own anymore. Then I walked past the pickles and totally thought oh yeah I could eat those too. So classic lol. Although I got the bread and butter instead of dill and while I like sweet pickles I guess I did really want sour and these bread and butters are wayyy too sweet.

i know i'm in the minority but i don't get the concept of chicken and bread for breakfast lol. I'm a new englander.. my southern husband loves it however
@ashannon3490 we must be the same person. My new englander self doesn't understand fried chicken on a biscuit with nothing else on there for breakfast but that's all my southern husband orders. I will say I am a fan of chick-fil-a's breakfast burrito!

At my stroller strides class a couple weeks ago some health person was coming in for an after class thing. They brought 'breakfast' (a.k.a. chicken sandwiches from chick-fil-a), I caught one whiff of it and was in the bathroom throwing up. I was so mad because I was enjoying a good workout up until that.
I'm craving everything from Biscuitville now. Love my fried chicken biscuits and sausage biscuits. Can't get behind the breakfast egg sandwiches or biscuits, the texture is always weird. Just give me meat or fried meat on a biscuit pls, potentially with cheese or gravy.

Hahaha! Oh man where do you live?!! If you have never been exposed to it, you won't know!!! I just woke up and make DH drive me there and we ordered 2... For me
DH was cleaning out the medicine cabinet, and he came across the BCP packets that we'd kept picking up after we'd started TTC. (Our pharmacy is located where he works, and we didn't want to tip off the pharmacist who knows us. Plus, I could just go right back on them if we had to postpone things. We finally stopped the auto-refill after several months.) So he handed me the packets and asked, "Are you planning to use these as part of a PSA for your middle school students?"
No, DH, I think we'll just safely dispose of them. But thanks for playing.
@dubcompanion hahah I should have done that too! I had a bunch of extra packs saved up from when I kept refilling it super early a while back so I actually stopped filling it in February I think so my first month off wasn't actually until June.

@pandalily Yeah, my PCP had cleared me to start TTC, but I wasn't sure exactly when we would start, so she just let me continue BCP and that I had her approval to stop it within the next year. We were just so dang self-conscious about letting our pharmacist know we were TTC because he was still finishing school. (It's funny now to think of how paranoid we were; like seriously, who cares? Pharmacists really don't!)
DH and I are traveling to Denver and Breckinridge next week....does anyone have any good restaurant recommendations for lunch?
@ngcsugirl1112 you HAVE to go to Torchy's Tacos in Denver! The best food ever. Okay you don't have to, but oh my goodness you will want to eat there every day if you do! we went all the time when we lived in Texas.
@dubcompanion haha yeah I promise as a pharmacist I would probably not keep tabs and think "Ohhhh so and so must be TTC now" unless I was really close with them. My coworker did tell me she had her suspicions when I told her that I was pregnant since she's usually the one who checked my BCP refills lol.

@pandalily I didn't realize you were a pharmacist! Funny that your coworker noticed that you'd stopped taking BCPs! DH is FB friends with ours, so in conjunction with general workplace chitchat (he works at a retail store that has a pharmacy), she's aware he's still in college and other general personal details. But if that was the "worst" we had going for us, then whatevs! And now I have the BCP packets as well as a huge bottle of women's multivitamins to contend with disposing. DH had bought me a 250 ct. supply of the latter right before we started TTC and switched to PNVs. (Can I make it any more obvious that we started trying on a whim??)
