I LOOOOVE pistachio ice cream. But only from a Germany. LOL I grew up there and the pistachio ice cream is amazing there. I've tried it at a few places around the US and they were all way too sweet and intense for me. But I may be just spoiled after trying the little piece of heaven in Germany LOL
I ate canned tuna for lunch. Didn't quite feel like it to begin with but that's all that sounded somewhat tolerable. Now I can't stop burping it up. SO.GROSS.
@catem07 & @neikoda, ugh, what is it with chicken nuggets?! I texted my husband earlier that I really wanted some which is so weird because normally I hate chicken nuggets! What in the world is up with this?!!
I find if I give into a craving, my nausea goes away for a bit. That's why I justified my Big Mac today. I also said it has lettuce on it, so it's healthy right? Right?!
@pk921 I recently transitioned off of ideal protein after losing over 70 lbs, but I still don't eat much in the way of carbs or sugars at all so I'm very curious as to what your coach will advise now that you're pregnant
@Dannylion24 Big congrats on your weight loss, I know well that that is not an easy thing to do. I really am enjoying ideal protein and it's working. I talked to my coach and her first reaction was to take me off but then she said I could probably do the alternative program (whatever that is). She ended up being okay with me talking to my OB and seeing what she said and then taking that approach. I told my OB that it was high protein, low carb, low fat and that I cook one of my meals with 8 oz protein and 4 cups of veggies. She actually thought that was a good plan. She did say that I would need more carbs but she said my body will crave it and I'll want it so just listen to my body and eat more if/when I feel the need. She also suggested taking the prenatal and taking the omega 3's if the prenatal didn't have DHA. I'm also taking my 4 Cal-Mag pills but no longer the multi vitamins. I'm happy with that decision so I'll continue to do it as long as the baby and I remain healthy. That should at least help with post-baby weight loss too.
I feel you @STM2017!! I told my husband the other day I feel like I need to eat 24/7 to keep from feeling nauseous so at this rate I'm going to gain 50 lb by my first appointment in 2 weeks!
@mylittleirvz, totally. I'm suddenly remembering why I gained 70lbs with DS. It's nuts!!! Between eating to take away the nausea, and just eating because I'm always starving, I can't keep up!!
OMG seriously craving Lo Mein since reading this thread yesterday thanks to @ebloom3 I'm totally caving tonight, Lo Mein and my guilty pleasure, BravoTV.
I've been craving a big deli wrap dripping with Italian dressing. We are also in a CSA and have been getting a ton of kale still and I've been craving some salty kale chips. I'm sure this vegetable craving garbage will flee soon. Picked up some of these too:

I just ate my first standalone pickle since turning a test, as one came with my deli sandwich today.
Holy. Smokes.
While I haven't had an outright craving for them, that pickle was the most delicious thing I've experienced in months.
