Yeah I don't care about FB either. I think after 7 months of talking with most of you on here I wouldn't mind a group on FB.

I mean my profile is pretty secure and locked down, I just know from my previous group it just gets much easier to communicate and commiserate when baby is here. So whenever that happens I'm in!

Making a Facebook group doesn't mean we all have to be linked as friends, correct? Basically we would be giving each other access to our names (or whatever "name" your Facebook is under) and a link to any information on our pages set to public. After everything I've shared with you guys over the last few months, I have no issue with sharing that info +1 for Facebook group
If someone would go ahead and make the FB group, I'm sure I would join. Lol. But don't blame me if it takes awhile to learn names rather than screen names. Someone will have to start an intro post I'm sure!
With my last bmb we had a couple people who formed the group. Everyone would have to be friends with one of them to be added. Someone else made a master list of screen names and real names until everyone got used to using the real names.
People can also request to join a group if they have the link and then an admin can approve it. I think that can be done without being FB friends but don't quote me on that!
Just tried to make a group I need to be friends with everyone first... It won't let me create one without adding people.

My last bmb, we created the group and let people PM us (there were 5 of us who created the group, me being one of the creators) on TB with their email if they wanted to join. Alternatively I do believe someone can request to join a secret group if they are given a link. We created an intro sticky post where everyone would say what their TB name was just to help with the name confusion. We moved that to a file in the group but it was a pretty easy transition. It also helped with labor buddies (I still need one for O16!) and we created a middle of the night chat (MOTN) where we could commiserate during our 4am feelings. It was a really easy way to stay in touch.
All that said... I would volunteer to create the page but I am so reliant on mobile currently, there would definitely need to be others to help add people and get it set up and going. Or if someone else creates it even better. Either way let's be friends (we don't actually have to be friends on FB, just group friends)! I'm tons of fun.

I'm willing to help with the process if we need admins to get everyone added to the group. But someone would have to tell me what to do because I've never done it before. Lol
I'm down with FB too, I'm sure I've missed things on here since there's no notifications. @nsquaredlife13 I still need a labor buddy if you want to be mine. I'm due 10/10, but may not get there with GD.
I was planning on giving everyone til tomorrow to say they wanted a labor buddy, and then everyone who hasn't already paired up with someone will be randomly put with someone else. The brand new members will probably be paired with other brand new members (no offense, newbies) because the regs all have relationships with each other. My little family shower is tomorrow afternoon, so either tomorrow night or Monday I will post a new thread with the list.
As far as FB goes, whoever wants to be admins and create the group, just let us know when it's created so those who want to participate can request to join.

I've missed so much! Been at outdoor parties all day sweating my butt off - can it be possible to be exhausted from sitting all day? Anyway, does anyone still need a buddy?? I'm buddy-less.
