@babylonghorn16 Mine always calls me with results, though unless I ask they never give me the numbers. And yes, this week is going by sooooo slowly! I don't have much planned, other than a dentist appointment on Thursday and a birthday party on Saturday, but hopefully the party will keep me distracted on the last day of my wait! I imagine I'm going to have a tough time sleeping on Saturday night.
@Happydays13 Yup, pretty sure that somehow, during our tww, the earth actually slows, which is why it takes so darn long for beta day to arrive!
AFM - Got the call with my results, and my levels are looking fantastic. Not changing meds yet, but I didn't think I would be this early. I also think I'm going to use my wondfos this time around, on Friday and Saturday, if I have two left. I've looked at the chart that's been posted around a few times, and since I transferred hatching blasts, I should get to shave off a day or two to when HCG would be detected by a HPT. I still haven't fully decided yet but maybe!
A question to all: So I've noticed that over the past 2-3 days I've been much warmer than usual. I'm usually good with our AC set at 74 (I actually would prefer 75, but DHs office needs to be kept cooler with his work computer in it) but the last few days, and especially today, I want to set it down at like 65. I feel like I'm melting! Anyone else feeling like that?

FET cycle #3 Transfer July 28th 2016, Triplets born healthy on February 26th 2017 at 33w1d!
Transfer was today and everything went smoothly,
and now it looks like my beta will be 8/12. We also asked the
embryologist to put the gender in an envelope, and we read it at lunch
after the transfer. A girl !! Now we wait!
Me:27 DH:28 Married in August 2013 IVF w/PGD to rule out a genetic disorder First IVF cycle: ER 6/20/16 (42 eggs retrieved, 31 mature, 27 fertilized with ICSI, 9 frozen and biopsied) Results: 3 embies passed both PGD & PGS testing (2 boys and a girl ). FET on 8/2/16, transferred our girl embryo. Beta on 8/11: 124!! Second Beta on 8/15: 1,117. First ultrasound (7 weeks) scheduled for 8/30.
good morning! I am so excited to see all the BFPs. Let's keep it going. My IUI is tomorrow so I can hopefully join the trend in a couple weeks!

@cmm012 my first beta was 351.7 and they said that was a bit high for a single transfer, but not out of the range. My second beta was what threw them off a bit as I jumped to 2,164 in 48 hours. They had me go back one more time after since that was such a high jump and my HCG was still climbing quickly, but the first U/S showed a singleton.
@AandDM2014 - In the winter we usually keep the heat around 70 and usually i try to sneak it up to 72 or so (DH likes it colder than i do!)......(TW) when i was pregnant last december (that ended in early miscarriage), my husband said that he suspected that I was pregnant cause i kept complaining how hot i was and turning the heat down to 60 or 65...lol...
Hello ladies. I'd really love to join this group. I'm not sure what the date of my beta will be but I just got the go ahead for my FET transfer on Monday. This will be my first one so I am very excited but a tad nervous.
My husband will be out of town for the transfer which is a huge bummer for me. But my sister is planning to come to the transfer with me. She's done IVF twice and is a huge support for me.
Id like to shout out a huge congratulations to all the BFPs on this board. This is fantastic news and I am so happy for you all. Wishing everyone lots of luck this month!!

Okay so I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem: grocery shopping. I went for the first time today since transfer, and everything sounded and looked awful. I was barely able to put any food in my cart, and got less than half of what I normally would. Partly because I know I won't be able to deal with any meat smell, so I just bought two things, but also partly because I just wasn't interested in anything. Buying stuff from the deli counter was hard because it was all just sitting there... and raw... and icky looking. I'm hoping this is a good sign!

@aanddm2014 Yes! I feel exactly the same way... nothing sounds good. And I'm super tired too, so Im trying to make do without a trek to the grocery store. I just ate a lunch of oatmeal and triscuits. I'm hoping this is a good sign for both of us!

@AandDM2014 I haven't noticed a drastic difference with anything like that. I'm gobbling up everything in sight without issue lol. The only thing that I've noticed is a full feeling in my lower abdomen and dull, AF-like cramps... to the point where I'm checking myself in bathroom just in case. This all might be due to meds, but it's making me nervous. Still trying to not think abt it too hard. Just waiting for beta on Monday.
Any HPTs for you ladies??

@babylonghorn16 I was thinking about doing a HPT, but I checked the one I had left, and it expired last month. They were already questionable, so I tossed it. No POAS for me. I'm going to be surprised when I get the call on Sunday (especially if it's negative, based on how I've been feeling). Are you planning to do a HPT?

@AandDM2014 no HPT for me. I can't handle the stress. Rather would just get a definitive answer from RE. Sounds like you have all the classic symptoms! FX for you!
Trying to stay positive over here. Caught between "I can't imagine getting a postive, bc that's never happened before" and "there's no way this didn't work, right?!" It's maddening. Just have to breathe and wait. Keep telling myself I've done all I can do for now.
Hope everyone is staying sane during the TWW. @fivetimesnoluck beta tomorrow!!! Praying for good news tomorrow!!

@babylonghorn16 I totally get that, they stress me out as well. I personally have been very against them for well over a year now, and only did one once this year, when my nurse asked me to before they could prescribe provera. Other than that, I haven't taken once since my last IUI, about a year ago. I much prefer to get the definitive number from the beta. I hope that somehow during this wait you are able to find something to keep you calm and positive. Maybe try checking out a new part of town?
AFM - We went to the beach for a short while today, and I decided F it, I'm going in the ocean. It was amazing, and felt so good to just do something normal. I was never advised not to swim, just avoid baths because they raise your body temp, so I assumed the relatively cold ocean would be okay. Also, it felt amazing having the waves crash right into my PIO injection area, as I've been having a very painful time this time around. I hope everyone elses wait is passing with relative swiftness!

@aanddm2014 the PIO is kicking my butt this time around too. i bet the ocean did feel great!
i had a bit of a pity party this morning about having to wait to day 12 for results, but my husband brought me back to reality. my dreams are super wacky, and i've never been so exhausted. i just keep thinking this has to all be good signs!

@babylonghorn16 I'm having the same feelings that you are in my lower abdomen. Like I'm carrying a ball in my stomach. It's been there for the last 3 days. It was gone for a little bit yesterday and out of no where I was balling because I just felt fat and not like something was actually happening. But it's back today. @aanddm2014 I hear ya on the PIO shots. This last week I've really started to bruise and my pants seem to be hitting right at the tender spots.
@gatorlorit having to wait till day 12 just means you'll have a super high beta! Mine was 179 and was lower compaired to everyone else's but I realized most people are either tested day 10 or 11 and I was at 9dpt
@gatorlorit I was tempted to take one before leaving for beta, but having DH look at it, then when I/we got back from beta, telling me what it said. Super bummer about your clinic not doing tests on the weekends (that was why you had to wait, right?)! How very silly!
@ale9687 Yikes that your pants hit where your shots are! That can't be any sort of pleasant!
@Rachnan dang, if you got a super positive today, I bet you're going to have a great beta in 2 days!

FET cycle #3 Transfer July 28th 2016, Triplets born healthy on February 26th 2017 at 33w1d!
Hi guys, ive been lurking for a while as well, just got posting privileges. I did my first FET 7/27. We had to go to ivf as a first and only result. We transferred only one blast. I go in for BETA on 8/8. Did an hpt this morning, totally negative. Felt woozy all night, so why not? Not actually feeling one way or another about it, not sure why. Just need for Monday to hurry UP already! PIO kicking my butt too. Ugh! Here's to hoping!
Hi all, second beta at 4w2d was 296, wasn't quite double in 48hrs but the nurse said they like anything over 60% increase. I'll go for a third beta on the 9th which will be 5 weeks. Hoping my numbers are just slow to double as they're still doubling in the 48-72 hr range.
@fivetimesnoluck I'm so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself. Thoughts and prayers to you.
@rachnan Yay for positive HPT. Saturday can't come soon enough, I bet!
@AandDM2014 You're absolutely right, they don't do betas on the weekends at my office. Booo!!

@cmm012 Thank you. We will talk tomorrow and make a plan. He wants us to do two more before we give up, but we'll see. DH and I are exhausted. TTC since early 2013 has definitely taken its toll.
And as for your beta, it makes me giddy. Not sure about you... HA! I am certainly not an expert, but those numbers sound like your embryo turned into two! There was at least one other bumpie who I watched go through the same thing and just delivered her identical twin girls. All my things are crossed for you!!
How do you feel about that possibility??
ETA: and thank you to everyone who has sent me good wishes. I appreciate the support. I am trying to take it in stride. The fact that we discovered a massive leak under our dishwasher last night that has wrecked our kitchen floor and goes 4ft up the wall is a helpful distraction. Damage control takes concentration, so at least I will be busy for a while.

@Rachnan CONGRATS!! Sounds like your beta on Sat will yield great results!
@fivetimesnoluck I'm so sorry, girl. No one cares about the streak... only care that you're making it okay. Do you have a plan going forward? You're in my prayers!
@MsOhanaJ beta buddy!!! Welcome! I'm DYING for Monday to get here. Not sure if I should ask to work from home or not... really don't want to be told bad news while i'm at work. What's your plan??
@Sunnshine congrats on transfer!!! GL during the TWW!
AFM - been crazy busy at work which has helped pass the time! I've been exhausted even though I'm getting 8 hours every night. By 9pm I'm ready to jump into bed! Boobs are sore and some minimal cramps or *twinges* here and there. Still not sure if all this can be attributed to PIO or not. I'm hopeful, but staying realistic at the same time. Felt a tad bit nauseous this morn, but I think I'm just LOOKING for symptoms now .
Not sure what to do about beta day... I'm thinking abt asking to work from home (as mentioned above) so I can just answer the phone without worry. Or maybe I should wait until it goes to Vmail? Ugh, I just want to be able to talk to RE if it's negative and figure out a plan. Don't want to listen on a voicemail and have to wait for the next day. What do y'all think? What's y'all's plan for beta day??

@babylonghorn16 I took the day off from work. It worked out bc I was exhausted and it was nice to use the day to catch up on sleep. For beta #2 today I'm in the office and I was so nervous when I got the call. I would do whatever you feel most comfortable with, I think if you feel so conflicted about it you're better off being home this way you're not stressing if you made the right decision to go in or not. Fx for you.
@fivetimesnoluck I'm glad you have a plan. Definitely take a break if you need to.
Im not feeling too good about twins. I transferred one embryo to reduce those chances. I have no family around and my DH travels for work 6 weeks at a time. I would have to make some serious adjustments. It is certainly doable I guess.

Thank you @babylonghorn16, as I mentioned in reply to @cmm012 our RE wants us to try two more IUIs if necessary - he is trying to prevent us from having to bear the cost of IVF since it would be all out of pocket. Also, because of my age, DOR and low AMH, he would recommend IVF with donor egg, so this is our best chance to have a baby that is genetically ours.
I am not averse to the donor egg program and have no qualms about the fact that the babe would be ours completely and wholly - but it will cost a lot of money and I am afraid we are wearing ourselves out with the stress of it all after over 3.5 years. We have a lot to consider. In my heart, I believe we will do another IUI and then I'd like to have a conversation about skipping to exploring the IVF or adoption.

@cmm012 Great second Beta!!! I know you're worried about multiples but good chance your single FET is just one LO. My second beta ( taken two days after the first) was 2164 (up from 350s). Just one LO was there at the U/S. Even if the embryo did split I'm sure you'll make a great mom to two!
@cmm012 understandable that you'd be anxious about that possibility. I, too would be nervous. I'm hopeful for your sake that it is just one strong little bean! Nice to know some others have had high betas and singletons. Good luck! Excited for you!

@babylonghorn16 my appt is at 7am for the beta and since its a monday, i have to go to work afterwards. In a way it's good tho, it saves on my days off in case its bad news and gives me an extra "me" day if it is positive. Im sure more than once during the 9 months, ill want a me day. Plus! It's something to fill the space between when ive seen the vampires and when they call.
Re: Beta Testing August 2016

Trying to stay positive over here. Caught between "I can't imagine getting a postive, bc that's never happened before" and "there's no way this didn't work, right?!" It's maddening. Just have to breathe and wait. Keep telling myself I've done all I can do for now.
Hope everyone is staying sane during the TWW. @fivetimesnoluck beta tomorrow!!! Praying for good news tomorrow!!

@babylonghorn16 @AandDM2014 i'm also trying not to test before. the woman at the office last time suggested i take one on the day of beta before coming in, and i may do that.

@gatorlorit having to wait till day 12 just means you'll have a super high beta! Mine was 179 and was lower compaired to everyone else's but I realized most people are either tested day 10 or 11 and I was at 9dpt
I cheated this morning and took a hot and **tw** it was positive!! And not a squinter. Hopefully my beta on Saturday will confirm.

FX for BFPs for all!!
@rachnan Yay for positive HPT. Saturday can't come soon enough, I bet!
@AandDM2014 You're absolutely right, they don't do betas on the weekends at my office. Booo!!

@Rachnan CONGRATS!! Sounds like your beta on Sat will yield great results!
@fivetimesnoluck I'm so sorry, girl. No one cares about the streak... only care that you're making it okay. Do you have a plan going forward? You're in my prayers!
@MsOhanaJ beta buddy!!! Welcome!
Felt a tad bit nauseous this morn, but I think I'm just LOOKING for symptoms now
Not sure what to do about beta day...

Im not feeling too good about twins. I transferred one embryo to reduce those chances. I have no family around and my DH travels for work 6 weeks at a time. I would have to make some serious adjustments. It is certainly doable I guess.
