Well, I've been a huge drama AW because I have a massive Subchorionic hemorrhage and I am bleeding very heavily and passing clots, diagnosed last Friday. I go again this afternoon to check if baby is still okay and the size of the SCH, which I think is bigger.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share Our top boy name is Arlo, so that is probably set. For girls we like Ava and Paige, but are struggling with middle name combos for various reasons. We are nowhere close on a second boy name if we end up being Team Blue x 2.

My betas came back great with my progesterone at 35 and my HCG jumped from 50miu to 183miu in 48 hours. So things are looking good so far but I'm not overly optimistic just yet. First u/s is in 3 weeks and will (hopefully) take a huge weight off of my shoulders.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share We have 4 names at the top of our list and we probably want to do some first name/middle name variation with 2 of them. Henry, Ansel, Magnus, and Calvin. I'm pretty sure Henry Ansel is one and Magnus Calvin is the other, but I don't know that I really like the flow of Magnus Calvin--it's not really sticking on me even though I love love love the name Magnus.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Lots of frequent baby kicks since the last check-in here. Very active little guy I'm growing. Also, a friend shared this joke with me the other day and I'm guessing everyone here might appreciate it for inspirational comedy value: "What idiot decided to call them pregnant women and not bodybuilders?"

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I just finished putting her crib together about 30 minutes ago and her nursery is all renovated except for repainting the trim. I can't wait for that to get done so I can really get in there and set up and organize! Otherwise, I've gotten the a-ok for a VBAC, we've hired a doula and I'm having an ultrasound in two weeks to make sure my placenta isn't too low anymore.

I'm pretty settled on mermaids/ocean/sea critters for our nursery theme, so her bedroom is now painted, and we're starting to settle on decor. Picked out the crib and dresser, we just need to get the glider. I also decided to attempt sewing crib sheets myself since I couldn't find any cute mermaid sheets online besides the $60+ ones on Etsy. We don't pay that much for our own sheets. No thank you!

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I am happy to see that I don't really recognize anyone on this board anymore! This board was such a huge help in helping me better understand all things TTC. After several months of temping and no BFP, I had DH get an SA (I also had testing done) and turned out we had MFI. He had a surgery to tie off a varicocele vein and two months later, I was pregnant! Not only was this board awesome (loved all the snark!), my BMB was amazing and we now have a close knit group of about 55 of us on Facebook that communicate constantly and are so supportive and helpful going through this motherhood journey together. The knowledge of these ladies is invaluable and I am so glad I joined the bump during this journey.

Lucas will be 5 weeks tomorrow. He came 9 days late after 15 hours of labor (induction) and ended up being born via C-section. He was 10 lbs 3 oz and 22.25 inches long. He's starting to smile and babble and is a pretty chill baby.

@BakerBird525 - You don't know me (I was a lurker from June 15-Feb 16 before I became active) but we found out a few months ago my DH has varicoceles too. Obviously the surgery worked for him, but can you share additional information? We have pretty much decided against surgery, but then I see cases like this where it actually did help and I get hesitant to write it off. How severe was the varicocele? Was it the only one he had? What was his count before/after? Did the doc give you any stats about how likely it was to help?
You don't have to answer if you don't like. I know you are long past when you were TTC and I don't want to bring up any painful reminders of how awful it is. And I know that's all pretty personal. There just aren't many on the boards that are dealing with MFI (which is great!), so I jump and ask all the questions when I see someone.

So far his growth is on par with his brother (1lb 10oz to his brothers 1lb 12oz at 24 weeks) and no concerns on the anatomy scan! My showers are at the end of this month and I'm so excited to start nesting and get the nursery finished off!

Other than having a chest cold while pregnant is the freaking pits. I didn't realize that I could set off BH and pain in all areas of my torso by coughing so hard. Thankfully movement seems to be great and I don't feel like I'm traumatizing the poor kid by coughing so hard. Its seriously the most painful thing. Not to mention that breathing would be nice and more sleep...

Having this crud not gestating would be miserable. This is a whole new level.
