@TheJerilu Nice on the Team Green! You will have to hold me accountable to remain Team Green! I fear my strength will decrease the closer I get to my a/s appointment lol
Hi Ladies, I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I was here for several months at the end of last year/beginning of this year.
*How far along are you? 11+4
*Which birth month board/due date? F'17
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Still TBD!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share
Top contenders are Rosalie or Dean. At the moment the NN is "Gummy Lizard"
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?
I keep spotting, which screws with PGAL brain. But we had an ultrasound today and baby is healthy and measuring a little ahead, and was kicking around in there!
@KristoB - I have no problem sharing. DH actually had two varicocele veins tied because they were both pretty big. After consulting with the urologist before the surgery, he knew he'd be getting one tied and maybe the other, and during the surgery they realized the second was also pretty big so they tied it off as well.
The urologist actually doesn't think the surgery helped, but we think it did. I have to add that he was also taking the supplement Fertilaid. I doubt the supplement accounted for all of the improvement and I can't remember when he started taking it. He also stopped vaping during this time which probably changed nothing. I guess there's no way to tell. His initially 3 SAs before surgery were all pretty bleak and the one post op was incredibly improved. We believe that the sperm present were no longer being heated up by the varicoceles since we assumed it would take at least 3 months (the time it takes to create new sperm) to see any improvement, but I got my BFP 2 months post op.
In case you're on mobile and can't see my FF link, here are the stats pre and post op:
Low Count (3 mil) Low Motility (20%) Low Morphology (0%) Varicocele surgery - Aug 11th - Success!
Follow up SA - November 10th Results: Count - 36 mil!!! Motility - 63%!!! Morphology - 1%
Obviously, you have to do what you feel is best and surgery is no small deal but I would recommend it. DH recovered very quickly, within a few days. It sucks that there isn't much information out there on this surgery or any success rates reported. Good luck! Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions!
Me - 33, DH - 33 Married - May 2014 DH - Low Count/Motility/Morph - Varicocele vein x 2 - surgery (8/11) - success! BFP - 10/10/15, EDD - 6/20/16 - It's a BOY! @BakerBird525 Thank you so, so much for sharing. We are still are considering surgery, but it's a tough call. We already talked to finance- it'll be 100% out of pocket... about 20K. This is our biggest drawback. Especially because his are very, very small, so the urologist isn't sure if they are big enough to even be causing the issue. We will continue to discuss. but your results indicate a huge change! that gives me a lot of hope!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share - this isn't going well. H and I can't agree. We have time, but it would be nice to at least have a list of possibilities...
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We just bought an SUV! I'm so excited! Another step towards being ready for LO to get here. Can't believe it's just 3 months until my due date. Time is flying by!
Hey. I'm Darth. I may have recently developed a Pokémon problem. Proceed with caution.
How far along are you? 31 weeks
*Which birth month board/due date? None - Just creepily checking up on some folks because I got sentimental, and I figured I may as well show sign of life. October 9th.
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Instinct! There are dozens of us. Dozens! (Spawn is a boy, but I refuse to be associated with team blue because of certain Niantic products).
*How are you doing picking out a name? Xavier. Not Charles (because I dated a Charles once and he was icky). Just Xavier.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Well, I'm still barfing like a champ, and had to go on short term disability because of severe muscle tearing, but I can reach the gym in the park across the street from my bed because of some sweet GPS drift, my bathroom is a spawn spot, and a roomba hatches eggs for me, so I got that going for me, which is nice.
Seriously though, I am mostly fine. Just stuck in bed, ridiculously bored, and ready for this little adventure to be over.
@AmMcc12. Yours I think is the first BFP I really remember seeing someone get from when I started TB in November 15, so I am extra super-super excited for you, and for your baby almost being here!!!! Squeee!!

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? So much going on and yet you feel pretty much the same, but tired. But then a small cold knocks you on your a@@ for over 2 weeks (and counting) and you realize that you're less than you were before. Holy crap you guys.
Also, yes. TTGP has changed a lot! I hope you guys on here still get the support, knowledge, and facts that helped me so much!
