Here's my place marker.. Will be checking RARELY today, seriously. I need to not have this open on my second monitor, productivity is so important today. I know someone else was with me on needing to be good today, so here we are. Productive Tuesday.. aaaand, GO! See you all in a few hours!
@COmama87 I'm thinking of you today. Let us know how the second BPP goes.
I have a few randoms. 1. My child (3yo) will not sleep through the night. Guys, it is killing me! I've gotten up with her for the past month now every single night and I am up for at least 1-3 hours, depending. Last night was 1-430am. I had H try so many times to lay with her but she was screaming and throwing tantrums for mommy. I don't know what I can do but I am so worried about what I am going to do once Baby arrives. There's no way I can handle both being up all night like this. Hoping for a sleeping miracle in the next month
2. On a lighter note I am headed to the spa for an 80 min massage and facial. I bet ya I will fall asleep but I am so excited. I need this!
3. Just adding that those melted cupcakes still tasted divine. That is all
My friend just found out she's 9 weeks pregnant and they've been trying for a year so I'm so happy for them. She sent me her 9 weeks bump picture and I'm having crazy nostalgia. Every time she texts me a symptom I'm like "awww I remember that". I'm so close to the end and don't know why I miss first tri symptoms..
@seitzy3 do you think it's anxiety about the new baby or is she just being a jerk?
If she's just being a jerk I would come in there once briefly to explain that it's time to go to sleep and that you won't be coming back in. Then at least you can listen to the tantrum from the comfort of your bed.

I had a friend who was TTC at the same time as me and it took them two years, 8 IUI's and two IVF attempts, but when she told me she was pregnant, I swear I was just as happy as when I found out I was. Some people really have to earn it.
@seitzy3 enjoy that massage and facial!! I definitely fell asleep during may massage a couple weeks ago but it was still the most glorious thing in a while.
I just bought myself a breakfast sandwich and coffee at Starbucks because with moving happening tomorrow, our apartment is pretty much cleaned out and I had nothing that I wanted for breakfast. However, I also bought myself one of their rice crispy treats because they are like my everything, with the intention of having it for dessert after lunch. It's 9:45 am and I want it NOW. pregnant brain may win out on this one.
@Megan324 I'm just picturing a flowy maternity top and a "What? I ate a big lunch!" Comment if they ask about it. (Probably not realistic, but funny in my head)
For my interview today I'm not sure if i should address my huge baby bump orrrr just pretend like it's not there.
I'd pretend like it's not there. I don't think it's legal for them to ask. But I'm giggling at the idea of doing an interview and the bump being a big elephant in the room.
I had a free cupcake from Gigis (I know they are a franchise and not local, so I can't be the only one that knows of them) for my birthday. I was trying to hold out as long as possible to get it. @seitzy3 's post yesterday made me lose all willpower, and I got one last night. Had to split half of it with DD because of carbs, but it was so amazing.
The constant feeling of getting a pap smear done on the other side of my cervix is way more fun than the real thing I'll never cringe at a pap smear again.
But, really, baby girl is too cute tohold it against her so the pain is so worth it.
Had the bpp this morning. She improved to a 6/8 (still no practice breaths, but the tech explained that lots lose points for that because they need to see "breathing" for 30 secs and most times its just a few secs at a time). My OB has decided to do a growth scan before letting me leave, just to make sure we arent missing anything, and then is seeing me tomorrow for my 36 wk appt. We are doing another bpp on Thursday. He's also increasing my appts to 2x wk and will do nst's at each. Hopefully all this extra monitoring shows she's healthy and was just being lazy yesterday. Thanks again for all of your well wishes. You ladies are so great!
Oh and I've tried to keep up with all the posts, you guys move fast... @seitzy3 those cup cakes looked divine! So jealous! Especially with being stuck with hospital food. @Megan324 good luck at your interview! I have one next week and I'm wondering how to address the bump too!
I'm currently waiting for my OB's office to call me so that we can reschedule my c-section. When I saw my MFM last week he said that he thought it would be better for me to deliver at 36 weeks instead of 37. So I'm just waiting to for the OB to confirm with the MFM and then they'll be able to move my c-section. Trust me when I say I'm running the entire spectrum of emotions over here thinking that I have a week left. I just wish they'd hurry up and call me.....
Holy poop I have exactly 1 month of work left before mat leave!!! Eeee!! Cue simultaneous joy and freaking out!!

@COmama87 hope everything turns out great for you! I'm glad you're getting more monitoring, it will help ease your mind.
@UnwritteN12 We might get babies next week!?!? Im So excited!! Everything will be perfect!
@Megan324 I'm hella awkward and would probably end up immediately telling them I'm pregnant, along with due date, exact weeks gestation to the day, date conceived and position conceived...but that's just me. You do you.
Holy crap I miss a lot on this thread! I would not mind some of these on individual threads! This is some big stuff ladies. @UnwritteN12 holy crap one week!! That's insane. @seitzy3 that sounds so difficult with your daughters sleeping. I'm sure you have tried so many things. I know I have been struggling lately when my 2 year old wakes up instead of rocking him and putting him back in his crib I just bring him in bed with us. It's so exhausting being this pregnant and dealing with this stuff. Especially when they only want you! Both the boys have been like that. I just want to cry.

Okay so.....they hired me on the spot, I have a serious problem saying no so I took the job lol. I am sitting here in disbelief. I really don't think they knew I was pregnant.....or maybe they did? I didn't say anything about it
Working in the deli section of a local grocery store! @diagonalley I really was just looking for a quick summer job way back when I applied. I'm going to tell them about my situation on Monday lol who knows. I totally wouldn't mind working these next few weeks but like...it would only be for these next few weeks.
I wish they had called when I applied. or I wish I have the ability to say no? It's my #1 biggest issue in life. I'm such a yes man.
@megan324 Congrats! I was going to suggest continuing to work after leave but I know you're going to school so probably won't want to do that...I would have a hard time saying no too! Especially since you went to the interview so clearly there was some interest. If you'd said no, theyd be like "uhh what?"
Here I am, checking in on my lunch break like a good little employee.
Spent the first half hour of the day not being productive, but instead scouring pregnant coworker's registries for something good from the group of us (I'm throwing it and coordinating money collection for a big gift). Her mother keeps buying her everything off the registry so it was slim pickings.. got her a Finding Nemo bouncer/jumper for about $100 and will put the rest of the money onto a target or BRU gift card.
Since then I've been pretty productive, much better than recently. Also got an email from our account manager for another state that he's going to send a pharmacist up here to Maine for me to train. I told him my due date was Labor Day and he sent a winky face asking I keep the baby in for a few extra days. He's scheduling my trainee to come the last week of August.. so I'll be 39+ weeks. WHY!?!? I want this baby fully cooked, but now wouldn't mind going into labor at 39 weeks to avoid how ridiculous this is going to be (Mind you, I had to train someone on my final 2 days before maternity leave last time too. ugh).
@RG1 honestly I didn't think I would even get hired. I put myself in a weird spot! I'll talk to the manager and explain my situation and see what she says.
These are the times I still feel like a kid making bad choices lol I shouldn't be allowed to adult yet
@Megan324 - Be completely honest that you were looking for work earlier in the Summer and surprised when they reached out at this point and wanted to follow through on your interest but that the timing just doesn't seem realistic at this point given your upcoming due date... good to add in that you really appreciated the questions asked, interviewing team and would really like to still be considered in the future once you've seen what life with a baby looks like.
@megan324 I like @annas930's suggestion and definitely add in that you appreciated the opportunity to have an interview, suck up, in case they'll consider you later if you still want a job
Guys, guess what? Apparently Bell Fibe internet is available in my area (I'll believe it when I see it on Friday when the install man comes). Since moving here, we have gone through a company that uses Bell lines, but the ones through the phone line, and its SO slow, like we get 2 MB download speed. The internet always cuts out when I'm doing my online lectures for school and we got so sick of it. So I called Bell to see what options they have if we go with them directly, and apparently we can get 10 MB Fibe. WOOOO. It will change my life if it works. At least once a day our stupid line goes down and its such a hassle. And its only about $15 more per month than what we are currently paying!
Last night, as I was coming home from picking up my kids, I started having major cramping and backaches. Even though I tried to lay down when I got home, the entire night was miserable with strong contractions (bowel issues, sorry TMI), and cramping in my back and uterus. I took a bath before going to bed, but I would have bet money that I was going to be up in the middle of the night with regular contractions and/or my water breaking. Then I woke up this morning and everything had settled down again.
The reason that I'm mentioning this is because I am legit starting to think that I'm not going to realize it when I go into real labor. I was induced with my first two so I have no idea what it feels like. And I'm worried about waiting too long to go in, since we live 45 minutes away from the hospital. How long did you STMs or TTMs wait to go in after labor started? How did you know it was real?
Cannot believe it is August!!!! I'll be 37 weeks by the end of this month and then it's just waiting time. It's also my last month of work and then I'm free to get as much relaxation and prep in before baby comes. So excited for all of you as well!
Nooooooo. I'm an idiot. I ran out of things to do while waiting for my dr's appt, so I went on IG and SPOILED THE ENDING OF THE BACHELORETTE FOR MYSELF. I have no one else to blame, and I can't unsee.
@Ssoccerball I was induced all 3 times, but with the 2nd they didn't actually have to start the induction process because I was already in labour and had no idea, lol. Soooo I'm sort of in the same boat.
Wife to A; Mama to C (2009), N (2011), H (2014) & baby F due 09/16/16
@Ssoccerball I've never gone into labor in my own either. I talked about it with my Dr a few times last pregnancy and they didn't seem concerned that I wouldn't know I was in labor. They just told me about the contractions and how far apart they should be. Last time ended up being a planned c section (baby was breech) so I still don't know exactly what I'm looking for.
I got Landry a milkshake for our grocery store trip as a bribe and we made it to isle 4 before he launched it. The lady I found to help was a complete asshat. She kept rolling her eyes as I was saying over and over again how sorry I was. Ugh I'm so over the terrible twos

I'm really not banking on getting hired at 34 weeks pregnant.
