@artemis618 That typically means FF isn't completely confident in your O date. FF usually looks for at least one other sign to align with your temp shift (OPK, fertile CM that dries up after, Cerival placement, etc). If you didn't have any secondary signs that lined up, or if you had any fertile signs after O, it will give you dotted CHs!

@AliciaGoose Thanks so much! I figured it was something like that.  I haven't quite dialed in CM determinations - so I just noticed different things happening with different inputs.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 24/9

    Timing: -2, -1, +1

Testing: I will hold out, damn it!

R/R: I had spotting out of nowhere yesterday. Naturally, I jumped aboard the SS train and scoured my past FF cycles to see when I had spotting before. I was starting to get really crazy when I realized I only spot the day before AF and I haven't had AF show up before DPO 12. TOTES KU. Then I promptly chided myself about being regular until you're not and went back to Netflix. It totally made me more anxious to test before this Sunday however.....guh.

    CS/Q: Nope

GTKY: Stolen from WTO - What are you most looking forward fo this week?
DH and I are celebrating our second wedding anniversary on Wednesday! I'm broke as a joke with the new job so we can't afford anything too extravagant but we're planning on a nice dinner. :)

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 27/10

    Timing: -2/-1

    Testing: Maybe at some point.

R/R: I feel better from yesterday, but I woke up in a vicious mood, and I swear my lovely husband is deliberately trying to piss me off. I've had serious thoughts of choking him out with my hands... On the other hand though, our kittens (8 weeks old now and cute as be, if not tiny little terrors) took a nap on me a while ago. And it's really hard to be angry with tiny little furry things sleeping on you.

CS/Q: This is seriously a dumb one... Can you ovulate more than once per cycle? A few days ago I had EWCM and it was a little watery today. I did ovulate, confirmed with BBT and OPKs. Are my hormones just outta control or can you ovulate a week after ovulation?

GTKY: What are you most looking forward fo this week? Friday. Seriously. That's it.

@MrsPamda I know you can ovulate twice, hence how fraternal twins come about, but I don't know how far apart that the 2 eggs are released.

@MrsPamda Are you temping and doing OPKs? It's possible to have multiple LH surges in a cycle, but ovulation occurs within a 12-24 hour period and you can turn an OPK positive for longer than that. Two or more eggs can be released within that period. Check out more under ovulation here: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/

Fun fact: I met a girl two days ago who is a twin like me. She saw that my twin has blonde, curly hair and I have brown, straight hair. She asked if we have the same dad since she and her sister don't!!! They have different blood types and her sister's isn't possible with her mother and father. Her sister's biological father contacted them on their 18th birthday and they noticed neither man had signed the birth certificate. The girls were both given their mother's last name.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

    Thanks @pretzel2plus1 and @jatwal128!

Sorry, I have another one - what does it mean when the x-hair lines are dotted?  For the record, I did check the legend/key for this (I swear when I last tried to "click" on it it did nothing).  Sorry to be such a pain, but thank you!
You're not a pain! :) Just another thing to note, entirely anecdotal: my CHs are almost always dotted. Like, I really celebrate if I ever get solid ones. But FF is always able to pick up on my O date, and my LP is consistent, so definitely don't get discouraged if your other signs aren't lining up exactly right. Good luck!

@NYTino24 That is a crazy story!

@GiddyUp82 @NYTino24 - Thank you both! I felt so ridiculous and clueless even asking. I do temp and use OPKs, so it was confirmed a week before the CM happened again. I was concerned and had a meltdown 2 months ago wondering if I did even ovulate properly, now I possibly did twice. That's a relief I think.

Also, that twin story is crazy!

Angel2909 I hear ya!  AF is due on Sunday as well and I am feeling Every. Single. Thing!  Seriously it's driving me nuts.  For the past few days, I've been having lower abdominal pain/cramps, lightheadedness, and I've been way more moody than usual.  I'm gonna try and hold off testing until Sunday but it's soooo tempting!
