@tentacular - I did not read the Martian, but I saw the movie and really liked it. I don't know if that helps or not. I know so often movies can be a disappointment from the book. But on it's own, I thought the movie was good.

@Xstatic3333 - I was just thinking the same thing. Love celebrating as people find out, but the board could get very crowded as people do the various blood tests and then we approach the 20 week U/S

@Xstatic3333 you start threads wonderfully, I consider it your number one strength! Hah! But really, I wouldn't feel insecure and think it'll be helpful. F17 doesn't judge.
@Xstatic3333 I would HEARTILY support a thread for announcements of the the sex of everyone's babies. If everyone made their own AW sex announcement post, we'd have dozens and dozens of new posts on this same topic in the next several weeks, and there would be ANARCHY. Let's nip that in the bud right away.
Also I have no problem with you starting all of the regular threads because I think you're the bees knees.

I feel like it's all part of the situation. It's fun to me to be at that ultra sound and then see the sex of the baby. I feel like it would take the excitement out of it to already know the sex. Of course it's always great seeing the ultra sound, but when it's time for that 20 week one you know what's coming and I get all anxious in a good way. Of course I'd be completely excited to know right this minute, but I feel like it's a birthday gift or something. It's fun getting your gifts early, but it's fun waiting until the day too.
I agree with everyone, one thread for when we find out the sex is much better than a thousand of them. I liked finding out the sex at 20 weeks. It was a nice halfway thing. If given the chance I don't think I could turn down knowing earlier.
Today is my best friend's birthday. I've been super slacky on the friend front this year and want to give her a birthday cake because she loves my homemade frosting. I don't feel like baking it's hot and honestly I'm terrible at baking so I'm thinking of calling Kroger and asking for an unfrosted cake. Is that bananas?

I'm just mentally checked out right now and keep reading about the DNC wikileaks and man I'm one thousand percent sure that political bargaining and corruption has been happening since well before the United States had any white people in it. But now all the corruption is being plastered all over the public eye. It really makes democracy seem like such a joke.
