This is for all our March moms who have experienced a loss- we are here to support one another!

1. How far along are you?
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why?
Re: PGAL Check In 7/25
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I have my first OB appointment with the doctor in 2 weeks!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I had my first ultrasound yesterday and saw my little nugget with a heart beat. Everything looked great. It definitely took a sad memory from my last ultrasound experience and made it into a happy one....it is something I will never forget and now this pregnancy definitely feels more real to me- there is a real baby in there!! This might really be happening! I hopefully can ride this emotional high until my next appointment. I am also really happy that DH could be there too and we could share that moment together.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? I've always wanted to go to Australia- I've met a few Australians and they are just the most fun and nicest people. The scenery looks beautiful and you are literally on the other side of the world. I also like that you can see animals and things there that you can't find anywhere else. Maybe one day when DH and I are retired
***Good luck to everyone that has appointments this week!!!***
1. How far along are you? 6w3d
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Still no ultrasound until 8.5 weeks which is frustrating... Trying not to panic...
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Still forever complaining about the lack of ultrasound. I just want some reassurance that everything is ok... And I don't want to wait another 2 weeks to get that.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? My mom's family is Filipino and has some strong political ties there, yet I have never been to the Philippines. I'd love to visit and meet the family that remained there after my grandparents sought political refugee in America.
@DaniBanani16 I hope your two weeks go quickly too!! Waiting for the first ultrasound can make the days feel slow so I get why you're frustrated.
1. How far along are you? 8 weeks today!
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My next scan next Tuesday. Then my appointment w the ob that weds. They do the scan on a different day which I don't get but whatever.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: pregnancy hormones are making me so cranky. We have two dogs and one is a puppy. He keeps waking me up in the middle of the night and I'm just imagining no sleep ever again. I thought I would get the pregnancy time to sleep but NOPE! I knew we signed up for this with a puppy though so I can only blame myself but I'd like to think the hormones are making this harder than it needs to be.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? If sitting on a plane for 18 hours didn't matter to me I would go to Japan! Everything there just seems nicer and way cooler. At least that's how DH makes it seem, he never stops talking about how we need to go there.
@spartanrd4Glad your ultrasound went well and your DH was there to experience it with you!
@danibanani16Hoping time flies by till your US! I know waiting can be tough.
@irishrose54Japan sounds like it would be interesting to visit. Plus eating amazing sushi... YUM!
1. How far along are you? Approximately 6 weeks and 5 days.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? First ultrasound/visit on 8/16
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Having to put one of my dogs down Wednesday, so I’m kinda bummed right now. I’m not obsessing over PGAL though, so there’s that.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? Hawaii. DH and I went there about 6 years ago. I would love to go back and spend some time island hopping. Definitely a relaxing, beautiful place to visit. We also felt safe traveling in a rental car at our own leisure. Other islands we have visited (non US territories, etc.) have not afforded us the opportunity to travel that way and feel safe. (i.e. our honeymoon was in Jamaica, and they had a barbwire fence around the resort… we did not venture out on our own) Plusalso, the pineapple in Hawaii is to die for!

1. How far along are you? 6 weeks today!
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Ultra sound on 8/2
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: well I had my first signs of morning sickness Saturday night, then it started again Sunday afternoon. With DD and my angel baby I found that I was sick from around 11:00 as early as 10:00 am on every day.
i am not looking forward to this but I know it is part of the journey and means I am preggo so.
As for travel: if I wasn't pregnant I would say Italy or Spain but I can enjoy any of the delicious wines at the save that for another time. I think it be fun so beautiful and again during the Guinness factory would be the same without being the taste it.
so I think it goes back to Greece. Figuring he was simply stunning there was amazing! As was Crete. See you in those areas never got tired and was so fresh and delicious.. So I think it goes back to Greece! Santorini was simply stunning and the food there was amazing! As was Crete. The food in both areas never got tired and was so fresh and delicious. The views were amazing and the pace it's nice and slow just with a pregnant lady needs.
@irishrose54 That is odd they do the scan on a different day. ::head scratch:: But ah well. At least there will be one soon!
1. How far along are you? 6w6d
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? The first OB appt with U/S is on Friday! Guys, I'm freaking!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: DH worked a very unusual semi-overnight shift last night and didn't get home until 3 AM. I'd joked I'd stay awake until he got home. I was out by 2:20. For some reason, the house key didn't work so he ended up waking me up by calling me to ask me to let him in. I was SO grouchy. Holy crap. Then this morning I was woken up by the crop dusting plane next door. (I live in a suburb, but there's a cornfield here also. Ah, the Midwest.)
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? I'd love to go to the Philippines also! @DaniBanani16 I was adopted from there when I was a baby. I don't know my biological family, but according to the adoption papers, my mother sounded like an amazing, wonderful person. She was all of 16 when she put me up for adoption, and I was about 7 months old. At the time, I had an unclosed bilateral cleft lip and palate. She had no money, and I was a sickly baby who was starting to struggle to eat. I'd love to go back there one day, and even if it's not to necessarily search for her, to see my ethnic roots.
2. I have another set of labs and first ultrasound tomorrow.
3. I feel guilty even saying this based on so many of your frustrations at having to wait for ultrasounds, but I am admittedly not looking forward to my appointment tomorrow. It seems so so early. All they want to do is confirm gestational sac is in my uterus. Their rule of thumb is HCG level 1200-1500 should show a sac. I have a retroverted ute & the last time they couldn't find anything when my beta was 2050. It just caused a ton of alarm and multiple checks over the course of a few days. I really hope that doesn't happen again, but I think once we have this appointment I am going to have a lot of stress & anxiety for the next few weeks. I have been able to keep it mostly at bay for the now 11 days I have known I am KTFU. In all my losses development stopped in early week 6 after we saw HB on US, so unless/until we have a confirmed solid HB and GROWTH in to Wk7 I am not going to be able to relax in the least bit. I'm trying to do my best to be as distracted as possible with other things. I wish I could workout. I'm on pelvic rest as a precaution. Some CrossFit, even dramatically modified, would help my anxiety for sure. Sorry for a whiny rant!
4. Right now the top destination on my list is Iceland. I've heard so many great things about it! I really want to go & it doesn't have ZIKA!

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I have my confirmation appointment on Wednesday. I'll be 6 weeks.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My nerves have not been so great today and yesterday but I think I'm getting nervous about being close to 6 weeks and my first appointment. I haven't had many symptoms except cramping, sore breasts, headaches and extremely tired.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? Probably an Asian country because I would love to experience that culture!
@belcherears I am very sorry to hear about your dog.
@spartangirl24 Great to hear about your U/S!

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 11week US on August 10th!!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Trying to keep positive, but every day that my symptoms aren't in full force I get scared. I tell myself that I am doing the best I can and to trust my body.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? I think it would have to be to travel around the middle east. I have always wanted to visit Tehran in Iran because that is where my uncle was born. And I have always wanted to visit the beautiful cities in all of those countries, like Cairo and Istanbul. It makes me sad that these places are crumbling under years of war.
My OB is the best and can apparently read my mind. I was freaking myself out this weekend because it felt like my symptoms were gone (got a little bit of them back today) and was wondering if I should call and try to get my U/S pushed up. My OB has been out of the office for the past month and she is coming back early (this week instead of next month). When she saw my name in the appointment book she decided to give me a call to congratulate me and to ask me if I wanted to come in early for another U/S this week. I of course sad YES! She knew that I wouldn't get piece of mind until I was able to see a healthy baby past our first M/C (at 7 weeks). I love her so much and am so excited and nervous about having the U/S. FX everything looks good at the U/S on Thursday!
2. My 10 week ultrasound, a week from thursday!
3. I had a private ultrasound on Saturday and saw the baby's heart beating which was magical♡. My symptoms have decreased pretty significantly since a week ago and have been in and out which is messing with my brain, but I'm trying to stay hopeful and positive (easier some days than others). Reminding myself that my mother never had ms helps.
4. I would love to go to Iceland and to Hawaii. Mountains, volcanoes, amazing scuba, northern lights...
1. How far along are you? 6 weeks
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I want to hear the heartbeat and measure on target next week!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I've got symptoms
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? I'd love to go to Ireland to see the scenery, and Fiji for the over water bungalows.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Big scary ultrasound on Wed, I'll be 9wks... I'm so scared! But my DH this afternoon said "I get to see my child in a couple days" and I melted... So glad he's going with me!!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Our AC drips and I can't tell you how many times I've woken up in the middle of the night thinking I wet the bed! lol
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? Toss up between Ireland (countryside, castles, antiques, and pubs!) And Jerusalem (what a blessing it would be to see the Holy Land)
@GoldenTMama It's great to have an OB who is so understanding! Mine is awesome too and it has been so helpful to me knowing I'm in good hands.
1. How far along are you? 8w3d
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Holding on for that 12 week appointment!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: We had a super busy weekend. One day spent washing walls at my husband's grandparent's house, one night spent volunteering in the beer tent at the fair (closing shift. UGH!), and yesterday a baseball game. Fun for the most part, but you guys. I am so tired.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? I would love to go to Ireland. I just think it would be so incredibly beautiful. I also love Irish music and accents.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
First ultrasound on Monday. It can not get here fast enough. I'm an anxious wreck.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: having some spotting today. Like I needed another thing to worry about! I also have my first review with my boss after starting my new job. Really hoping the morning sickness stays away today, although I'm also hoping it doesn't go away Because I'll worry less about the spotting if I still feel pregnant.
4. GTKY: If you could travel anywhere in the world- where would it be and why? New Zealand. I love outdoor adventures and wine.
Sometimes I wonder if it's a coping mechanism... Like, not allowing myself to get my hopes up too high so they don't get crushed. Or, last time the loss completely blindsided me - perhaps I'm trying to feel like if it does happen again that I saw it coming this time?
Regardless... the PGAL anxiety is the worst symptom of them all.
Hugs to you. It definitely helps me feel less alone having the support of all you other PGAL ladies. Knowing other people feel the same way I do is a comfort to me.
I'm also struggling with feelings of guilt about not allowing myself to be hopeful. Like I am robbing myself of joy or something. I've said it before, but RPL just steals joy from this time.
