Our little nugget! Based off of LMP I should be 6w3d but only measured 5w6d and HB was 115bpm. I'm a little worried because I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy that was 4 days behind and around the same HB.
My first appointment is the 25th. I'm nervous and excited. I should be around 8 weeks and 1 day. Was high risk with my daughter 6 years ago due to a short cervix. We'll see what he has to say this time.
@MrsNap_515 & @weareturtles all good vibes your way for both of you and the babes!! I got another U/S today and am officially graduating from the RE's office which is totally surreal. I wanted to hug all of the nurses and dr but I though maybe that was a wee bit inappropriate. The pic is a bit blurry but the hr is going up and the little shrimp has grown quite a bit since last week 7wks+3 Edit: I got the date wrong.

Congrats about this pregnancy and so sorry to hear about your loss. I will say that lmp is just a way to estimate the really important day....the day you ovulated. You probably ovulated later than you thought. I know it's so hard not to worry!!
@irishrose54 congrats!!! it's such a surreal feeling to get discharged, when I was pg with DD, I didn't want to leave them, this time around I'm glad i'll be sticking around a little while longer!

Had my ultrasound today! Doctor said I'm measuring 6w3d and I'm 6w2d per my LMP...we saw the heartbeat but didn't get to hear it as he was just confirming the pregnancy since my last one was ectopic...we go back in 4 weeks for a more thorough ultrasound
And we we have one healthy little bean with a heartbeat of 163! Got to see and hear it! There is a cyst on my right ovary, but the nurse wasn't concerned, nor am I since I have a history of benign cysts.
Seeing all the 5/6week baby muffins... Now im concerned that I'm having a blighted ovum, even more than before. I only had a yolk sac but I didn't see a baby n they def didnt see fluttering. Doc said its normal but she's a resident so she's not super seasoned. :'(

At five weeks I have never seen much to write home about, try not to worry although I know that's easier said than done! When do you go back?

@jteraye88 I was very surprised we saw as much as we did today because I'm not 6 weeks along (dates are exact Bc of IVF). With DS I distinctly remember going into my 5week scan and seeing nothing but a yolk sac, no fetal pole or anything! Try to relax, like @AverageAsh said, easier said than done...but honestly you will make yourself crazy and sick. Try diffusing some lavender or having a cup of tea, watch a movie, go for a walk..it will be ok.

@ptb_ptb It's not my favorite thing, either. It's not nearly as bad, in my opinion, as a pap smear though, plus you'll be so distracted looking at your baby that you won't even care!

Aug 5.... They told me to go to the hospital to get it because the machines are better (and more expensive apparently). Im trying not to worry, but its my first so.... Thanks for your encouragement

This! I HATE paps! Even though they aren't THAT bad, I just hate having them. I get sooo tense.

@JAGinMI EDD is 3/3/17, the OB and the US tech both laughed when I told them what it would be and then realized I was right after they measured baby. Don't they know us Bumpies are edumacated? Lol

(I had to wake up to puke last night when I went to the bathroom.) today morning sickness is better (maybe cus I woke up and immediately ate some cereal), boobies are less sore than yesterday.
Good luck @mrsyimster ! I'm having the same spotting/staining and am not too worried about it. Judging by my last pregnancy it seems normal for me! ask your doc when you're there today!!

5 weeks is pretty darn early, I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry. OR maybe call your doctors offuce and explain your concerns and see what they say! Maybe they'll bring you in again to see the heartbeat. I'm any case I'm pretty flabergasted at how many detailed scan images people are showing. I feel like last time at 10 weeks mine looked exactly the same.
We went to a US boutique last night. Got there and the lady totally freaked us out, pointing to all of the areas of my "uterus" and telling us that there was no baby and not even a sac of fluid for her to measure. I freaked out and asked her if I could wait and drink a ton of water so she could recheck. She basically asked us to come back in in two weeks for a free US because "my dates were off". UM NO. So I sat in the waiting room while she did another scan on another mama and I chugged water. Went back in and BOOM baby. Her response? "Opps! I was scanning your bowel before!" Oh, ok! Thanks for the unnecessary cardiac event.

@AverageAsh Seriously stories like this make me feel like I hate people. She is a sonographer who can't tell the difference between bowels and uterus? How many other people has she done this to? Smh
You guys it took a lot of restraint to not go to jail. The excitement helped too, of course.
