I. Hate. Vomiting. I still have to take zofran 2x a day and the promethazine every night. and I still vomit like 1-2x a week. only in the morning thankfully but I am so so so tired of this shit.
I woke up feeling swollen in my face and hands. I ate a bunch of salty food lastnight, which is not part of my normal diet. I'm hoping that if I drink a bunch of water this morning I will feel better but ugh. This is not fun
@mom2adoodle I have been keeping up with TB all day, but have been too tired to even respond! I can't nap during the day because of work. I feel like there aren't enough hours in the evening to get all I need to complete and still have time to get a good night's sleep! Ugh!
@Sbrown721 But see, you're being a contributing member of society AND growing a human. I'm on summer break so my responsibilities include cooking dinner, cleaning the house and taking care of my dog. I have no excuse!
So, cramping. Has anyone else had cramping due to constipation? Out of the blue I've gotten period like cramps. Nothing horrible, but anything out of the ordinary is concerning. I drank two glasses of water and changed position. The cramps don't seem to be in any type of pattern and my belly isn't hardening during them and I have no other symptoms that should cause alarm and I know that all the extra iron I've been taking lately has kind of tied my tummy up...
@Bibliobebe I haven't tried prune juice (it probably doesn't mix with my GD) But a ltitle miralax here and there has helped. plus I'm trying to drink more water. I am a terrible water drinker
@Megan324@MojieJo I have to admit that I haven't been at the top of my game with water lately either. I was doing so well, then DH brought home this huge pack of bottled mineral water that tasted super weird and I slowed down (I really really don't like the taste of our tap water either). Back to our usual brand now so hopefully I'll start getting in my daily and maybe it'll help.
The hallmark of this pregnancy, for me, has still been dizziness and fainting. It seems like it never ends. So sick of it.
@Bibliobebe@Megan324@MojieJo It's so hard to drink enough water. I think I am going to start finding a place to make a tally or something. There has to be an app for this.
@Sbrown721 I am making the same contribution to society from my desk. I am pretty sure the world needs my occasionally amusing comments on an internet message board more than it needs me to try to muddle through my workload.
Bah - I have no motivation or patience for my job right now. Feeling like a total cranky pants today.
On top of that, I am beginning to get indigestion / acid reflux. I woke up the last 2 nights with it and it's hit me again this afternoon. Blech - this is new, I've never really had indigestion before and man, does it suck!
I'll join in on the tired/exhaustion party. Also, my abdomen has been super sore since yesterday. And it is really hard. Oh and it hurt in my lower pelvis (for a couple of hours last night). I have a feeling baby boy has hit another growth spurt...
On the plus side, he is super active. Dancing/shaking/moving around all of the time.

sorta random...and probably not baby related...but i've noticed that my feet have been crazy sweaty the past 2 days, even though i'm inside an AC'd building...anyone else getting sweaty feet or is it just me? lol
My nipples haven't been sore for months. Probably since first tri or early second tri. But within the past week they've gotten so sensitive again! It's awful. And it really doesn't help that, when I was laying on my side in bed the other night snuggling with one of my doxies, he decided to move and stepped on my nipples. I honestly thought I was going to throw him off the bed.

This is me too. For some reason I still dress wearing a towel as if I'm a middle school girl in the locker room. So I put my bra on over my towel in the morning, then pull the towel off. I nearly doubled over this morning from the towel rubbing against my nips.. and feared that they might have come right off with the towel! Yowza!! Won't be doing that again...
@UnwritteN12 I feel your pain. I normally sleep in a bra, but went to bed without one one day last week. My dog stepped on one of my nips. I yelled so loud I woke up DH.
@AnnaS930 aww you're modest even when you're alone? Don't let that girl in the mirror see your boobs!!! I've always been stupidly modest. I wish I could just go into a locker room and change like normal people, but no. For DD's swim class, I change in the bathroom. Mainly because, 1. I haven't seen nor been able to adequately maintain the hair growth for a couple of months now and I'm scared of what someone may accidentally see, and 2. What the actual f&$k, aeroelas?? Why? Why are you huge now?????
My main issue is sciatic pain. It's not all day every day but it's getting more and more frequent. I also have some serious pregsomnia but luckily I stay home and only have one child who naps, so I can nap if I need to.
@UnwritteN12 I feel you with the nipples! Mine have been super sensitive the whole time. I was changing the other day and LO was pointing to body parts. Awesome. Then she grabbed my nipple and I scared her with my yell. She did get the body part right though!
So I think I just felt my first contraction. But it was painful and made me gasp and grab the wall. I though Braxton Hicks weren't supposed to hurt?! I have never felt anything like this before and it was low and in my pelvis. It went away after a few seconds and I haven't felt it again in the last 20 minutes. It was a very scary feeling considering I was so not prepared for that!

@blondie080300 - possible it was just baby banging on your cervix instead? Mine causes some horrific lightning crotch that takes my breath away every couple of days.. but it's not really a cramping feeling like a contraction, more of a stab of sharp pain

Agreed, do you think it was that? I wouldn't think that your first contraction would be enough to take your breath away. It would be more of a, "hmm, my stomach is tight and crampy, is this a contraction?" Kind of feeling lol
@AnnaS930and@MrsVoorhees I guess since I have felt the baby kick/punch my cervix before (taking me by surprise and hurting) that this might be something different since it felt all over my lower abdomen/pelvis. I hadn't felt movement from the baby when it happened either. But I hope you are right and maybe he just moved to a different position and I won't feel that again!

I gotta be honest, I am not and never will be a never nude. Sometimes you just gotta go with no clothes! It's so liberating and I'm really trying to embrace my pregnant curves. My fiancé jokes that he loves my current figure as its a constant reminder of his virility! And then we both giggle
For symptoms, third trimester is bringing back the fatigue, nausea and now nose bleeds. I'm crossing my fingers that all three are very short lived.
@geminigirl16 - just to clarify, I embrace my pregnant curves. I just don't like the actual feeling of being naked. Fresh air on my lady bits makes me uncomfortable, not feel liberated. hahaha, and my boobs feel better with support under them, flapping around is literally painful. I like my body, I just don't like the physical feeling of nakedness.
I used to sleep in just undies, but since my boobs have gotten larger I need either a tanktop or a training bra style thing to sleep in. Something. In the first trimester they were SO sore all the time I just couldn't take the chance. I'd get hot and push up against DH's back and my nipples would stick to him. It was horrible! so I've worn something ever since.
I love being naked! Lately I don't want DH to see me that way but I definitely don't mind a cool breeze on my bits or letting the girls hang out when I'm alone. My house is usually too chilly lately (I spoil my husky) so I am almost always sporting fuzzy pajamas.
@geminigirl16 The nosebleeds and other symptoms from 1st trimester are back for me too. Ugh.

@AnnaS930 I think you look beautiful and I admire your positive body attitude. Please accept my apologies if my comment came across wrong, was definitely not my intent. Funny how we each find such different things comfortable and/or liberating
I think part part of the reason I prefer less clothes is because my A/C is just not strong enough these days either.
@blondie080300 Ugh, I'm sorry your getting the 1st trimester symptoms as well. I'll cross my fingers that yours are short lived too!
I'm neither a never-nude nor do I like being constantly naked. I like a moderate rate of nudity, I guess. I can't sleep naked, and wouldn't walk around the house naked for extended periods of time, but nor do I rush to get clothes on after a shower or sexy times.
Regarding symptoms, I woke up a hot mess this morning. Hips/pelvis is killing me, feeling bad carpal tunnel in my left arm, dry and bloody nose, and a rash similar to the one I had postpartum on one knee that is itchy with small bumps. WTH, pregnancy? That had to hit all at once?
@AnnaS930and@MrsVoorhees I think you were both right! I have my feet up and am feeling ALL kinds of familiar sensations now that indicate baby boy has moved. It's like he is doing handstands on my cervix or raising the roof but upside down. It is not the most comfortable so I hope he moves again before my shower tomorrow!

Also about cramps/BH talking with my doctor yesterday she told me having to pee/poop or not drinking enough water can cause cramps/BH at this point.
