my son will be 7 weeks on Sunday. He for the most part is a super happy and very laid back baby. However over the past week he has been fighting any type of sleep SO BAD. first it's the cute nodding, eyes fluttering, etc, but then after sometimes an hour he just gets angry. He will scream and scream and scream, I will feed him, burp him, sometimes try gas drops, rock him, walk with him, car rides are out as he doesn't like being buckled in his car seat, but we will literally do any and everything but he just freaks out. I end up just holding him, rubbing his back and rocking him until he will cry himself to sleep. I feel like I have run out of things to try. Anyone else ever go through this and find anything that helps? It is no fun rocking a screaming baby to sleep!

Re: Major meltdowns
DS tries to push out to when we first put him in. But we keep walking, give him his binky and we shush nice and loud and eventually he gives up and rests his head on us. Once he does that he's asleep in minutes. Oh and the colic hold aka tiger in the tree hold will get him I stop screaming long enough just for me to get my head together and think of what I wanna do next
We ordered the happiest baby on the block DVD that has come highly recommended. And we just keep mixing it up knowing that this too shall pass. Its hard not to want to just lose your mind a little though!

@alitria, I thought my guy might just be congested (I give him saline drops in the morning and right before bedtime, he does just fine) and though I am going to try giving him drops midday to see if that helps, I think he is just purple crying. Thanks for the link!
