TW Tuesday

Re: TW Tuesday

  • I could totally understand a twin getting tired of sharing a birthday because they share everything. Sometimes even a
face. But her situation is just so self absorbed, and she gets so damn fired up about it. She won't let it go once she starts. She has a bad habit of always thinking she's right and she won't ever drop an issue if you disagree with her.

  • My LO could potentially be born on my dads birthday (my EDD is the day before). I think my dad is quite tickled (who says that??) that he could possibly share a birthday with his first grandchild.
  • Baby is due in my FIL's birthday and he couldn't be more thrilled!

  • My boys could potentially share a birthday with my brother, dad or SIL if they come on the "right" day in August.

My dad's birthday is one day before I hit 37 weeks, so his seems like the most likely candidate, but any would be possible.

I don't think any of them would be bothered by sharing their birthday.  Most adults wouldn't.

Not quite the same thing, but my dad's birthday is 9 days after my brother's and mine is 16 days after my mom's.  It was never an issue in our family having birthdays close together (they all fall between the beginning of August and October).  My grandpa's birthday was also 3 days after mine.

  • Between my immediate family and my fiancé's immediate family, we have 8 birthdays in just over a month (May 30, 31, June 9, 10, 11, 25, 27, July 4). We call it a birthday celebration time and we all celebrate each other! The younger kids love it because it just means more cake :joy:
  • My fiancés birthday is on Christmas and he hated it but I think that's different than sharing it with an anniversary...

Yeah mine is Christmas Eve and I hated it as a child but as an adult it's no big deal lol. Crinkle cut is a weirdo

  • Her birthday is 3 days after Christmas and I totally get that as a kid, that would suck. But as a 25 year old adult, you should be over that...she's still enraged about it and also still pissed that her moms birthday is the day before hers. I just get so sick of her saying, "your daughter is going to HATE you if she's born on DD1's bday." No. She won't.
  • DD was born on DH's bday. Pretty sure he's the one who gets the shaft! Almost lol'd at the comment that your daughter will hate you if they share bdays. Drama! Ha. You're right. No. She won't.
  • @AnnaS930 What the hell makes pregnant co-worker think she's being weighed wrong by the OB? It's kind of hard to mess that kind of thing up. And if my OB couldn't even weigh me correctly, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have much confidence in their delivering my baby.
