So... opinions....

Okay to go tubing down a river at this stage?? I think it's a pretty calm ride. My immediate worry is that I'll be over it 2 hours into the 4 hour excursion..... thoughts? anyone tried it?

I haven't been able to be very active this pregnancy (spotting early on, and easily fatigued now....) I'm carrying twins too, if that changes anything.

It would probably be safe, but whether it'd be enjoyable depends on the temperature where you are. I wouldn't want to tube down a river where I am (Texas) right now...too dang hot and the sun is brutal.

It's bad y'all. It was 90+ outside yesterday and I walked way further than I intended to but the call to catch em all was too strong. I'm about as non outdoorsy as you get but I feel that's gonna be changing. Why the heck did this game have to come out in July?!

WOW! So in a much earlier post I mentioned my dinosaur costume purchase of last pregnancy. I did not mention my pikachu costume purchase for fear it was not the right audience for that much disclosure. Boy was I wrong!! I WANNA BE THE VERY BEST!

@cayaylonglegs I just downloaded it this morning! I haven't left my house yet but I caught a Rattata that foolishly wandered into my house. DH wanted me to be more active, well there's 2 stops close to the house and a gym near our gym and favorite Chinese place

I foolishly asked DH what all this Pokémon stuff was (my Facebook is filled with it). He super super excitedly downloaded the game. I'm not a fan of games but I may have to get it just to compete with him.

I think, as far as basic safety, it wouldn't be too rough. I personally would consider going. But I would definitely be mindful of the sun and the heat. Over the 4th I was on the lake with my family, 2 days in a row of being on a pontoon boat for 4-5hrs, and I was absolutely wiped out afterwards and the boat gave me the opportunity to sit in the shade so you just need to really think about how much the sun saps your energy and make sure that there is more water than you could possibly think you would need available. But I think it would be safe and I love tubing, it's a Texas summer pastime :-)

Also a teacher...my coworkers and I confiscated so many Pokemon cards throughout the year that we joked we were going to have a burn party. We put them all in a box and ended up donating to Goodwill, but man there were hundreds.

I'm with you. I was already out of high school when Pokemon came out so I am definitely behind the 8 ball on this one. However, it does sound kind of fun from what I am hearing!

For all doing Pokemon Go, I just read that someone found a dead body while they were playing. So... have fun?

Is anyone doing Stitch Fix? Do you like it? Are the clothes good quality? I've never done it but I'm getting pretty frustrated with the lack of maternity clothes in stores near me, and then ordering things online and having to return them when they don't fit. I guess ordering stuff from Stitch Fix isn't that different (and possibly more expensive) but finding clothes that fit properly is exhausting.

@penelope4612, Just started on Stitchfix. My first Fix the clothes looked great, unfortunately the fit was not good. I provided feedback and returned 4/5. I will let you know how it works for the second fix. So far I feel like the stylist understood my style and requests so I was happy about that, so I gave them a second chance.

I am having a hard time cooking/eating. It just feels like a chore...I used to look forward to eating, now I dread getting hungry. Does anyone have any suggestions for a nutritionist app (esp for pregnancy), I am hoping I am feeding this baby enough. I constantly worry that I am not eating well enough.

@queenklau It's not a pregnancy specific app, but I loved MyFitnessPal when I was counting calories. I used for maybe a year or so to help better understand my eating habits and make a healthier lifestyle change. I've used it a few time since being pregnant just to check in getting what I need. It does calories and whatnot, but I think the more important part is that it tracks pretty much every vitamin/nutrient you could think of.

@queenklau - I'm definitely still struggling with protein. Chicken, shrimp, fish, red meat - all make me want to barf. Warning TMI - I will start eating it and then at some point will have a piece of food in my mouth and start gagging, completely unexpectedly. It happens every single time. DH is used to it but it's pretty embarrassing in other situations. I can do ok with pasta and salads. I think I'm probably eating too many sweets. It's definitely hard.

I've been using Stitch Fix for almost a year. It can be hit or miss, but it has been nice having someone send you clothes that you may not have picked for yourself at a store. At least you don't have to pay shipping charges when you send stuff back. I just changed my profile to pregnant so I don't know how their maternity stuff is, but I'm looking forward to finding out soon!

I had a friend rave about her maternity stuff from Stitch Fix. It's a little pricey for me, but I was thinking about asking for it as a birthday gift (August) for a month or two. I'm already dreading and procrastinating on getting maternity clothes. Once I go back to work in August it will be unavoidable though.

Can I just whine for a minute? Our ac went out Wednesday. The earliest the company can come out is this Tuesday. On top of that, I just left the ER where I was diagnosed with kidney stones. These suckers hurt.

I am having a hard time with fish, I miss my sushi and ceviches, I am not a fan of steamed/cooked fish...

@Mamax2 I feel your pain. Our AC went out over the 4th weekend. It was a miserable few days before we got someone out here. Then our landlord did what should have happened years ago and got the unit replaced! Glad you're getting someone out today. This heat is miserable.

So I was a little old for pokemon - never did the cards - but babysat and the kids were into the show so I know the theme song and I've also played an unreasonable amount of pokemon snap which is barely even a game. I also know what a treasure mew and mewtoo are but meowth is NOT. I'm realizing this pokemon go thing is quite a phenomenon and it's sort of making me want to break out a giant pikachu costume I have (we did a smash brothers themed birthday party blowout one year and that's what I was).

I feel like it'd be hilarious to just walk around the streets in it.
