Every old lady that works at Jo-Ann is a TW today. DH and I are the crazies that took our 6 day old baby in there while we were out, because I needed a small piece of fabric for something. Stood in line to get said fabric cut while the lady cut another persons fabric ahead of me. Why would you put the oldest/slowest woman in charge of cutting fabric? She had a very long and meaningless conversation with this lady whilst cutting - and the woman got some weird ass furry fabric that shed ALL over the table. The old lady then proceeded to wipe every last piece of staticky fuzz off the counter. I made my husband stand in line while I pushed the baby around to keep her asleep lol. Fast forward to checking out. Another old lady and a woman who is taking full advantage of the sale on 4th of July decor. She couldn't decide if she wanted to buy the American flag pillow for $9.99 that was originally $29.99. Hell of a deal I say go for it. The woman pays and still stands there while they talk. I start walking up slowly and just stand there. It's my turn finally, so DH takes baby out to load her up while I pay because she's getting understandably fussy. The lady comments on how 'he's' getting riled up (not sure why everyone assumes it's a boy when they haven't even seen the baby inside the car seat...) I tell her oh she's just tired of waiting in lines.
Ring up my shit. I'm not pregnant anymore, but it's 106 degrees outside and I'm still hormonal and standing for long periods of time hurts my uterus. Bitch.

This story fills me with rage. Explains why I am avoiding going out in public. Slow cashiers and service make me insane

It was really trying my patience, that's for sure. It probably could have waited but we were already out and my husband is back to work already so I take advantage of him driving me around. But my goodness, when there are people lined up in various places throughout the store, proooobably not the best time to tell your life story to random strangers.
@PootsDragon I still can't believe she did that. My OB practice only has two docs and she is not my regular doctor, but I've never had an issue with her until today. I should have known something was up since I was in a lot of pain while she was checking me and last week I was fine. I'm not planning on saying anything until after my delivery since I'm not sure which doctor I will have during the induction. I just figured the doctor would ask before doing that since my regular doctor asked permission before doing a cervical check last week.
