I'm right there with you @kyrgyzstan with feeling sad about numbers. It is so hard comparing to others!
AFM I had my retrieval on Thursday (6/30), they retrieved 9 eggs and 7 were mature. 6 fertilized with ICSI and now we are down to 3 optimal ones at Day 3. I am SOOO anxious and worried none are going to make it to Day 5, freeze, do PGS, re-thaw, etc. I'm trying to tell myself there is nothing I can do at this point, but ahhh this process is maddening! The good thing is that physically I handled the stims well, the retrieval, no problems what so ever feeling bad. Hope everything is enjoying their Holiday weekend!!

Anyone else feeling morning-sicknessy? I've been having nausea on and off since the day after my transfer. Which is absolutely not morning sickness, too early. Barftastic. Maybe my body is trying to trick my mind into believing I'm pregnant. A mean joke, thank you progesterone
@lilmissslp - I didn't have many side effects from my round of IVF. It was mostly dealing with gigantic ovaries (PCOS). So in the beginning, I was fine. It wasn't until the end when my ovaries pressed on bowel, leading to some nice constipation lol. I was on a low dose of the fertility meds though.
Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones that sails through IVF.
@lilmissslp I didn't have horrible symptoms either. I just had a nagging headache for most of the weeks but Tylenol took care of that. Maybe you'll not have to deal with horrible side effects either!
@lilmissslp I haven't really had any side effects at all. Shots aren't painful (don't even bruise), no headaches, etc. I did get a terrible headache the day I started delestrogen and dropped my lupron dose from 10u to 5u, but that is it for FET meds. Nothing at all to report for the ER meds/stims. It is totally possible to get through this without anything but mood swings from all these hormones.

i have been a little MIA this weekend so I apologize! We did lots of housework and yard work saturday, and then my in laws had a Fourth of July party yesterday. We have been very open with friends and family about our struggles to get pregnant, so of course everyone was asking us when we will find out and we had to lie to everyone. We did tell my husbands best friend and his wife bc we won't be seeing them for awhile (they live kinda far from us) and they are expecting in January.
i hope everyone has been able to relax and enjoy the long weekend and *maybe* be able to take their minds off of TTC a little bit! I'm thinking about everyone and rooting for you guys!!

Hi everyone! I'm joining in a little late but I recognize some names from when I was here previously. I had a fresh IVF In March and got a BFN. Then a canceled cycle earlier in June because I ovulated through estradiol. I also had an ectopic last December. I did an FET this past Friday of two embryos. "Patiently" waiting through the tww. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

more uncomfortable I would be but I’m glad to hear you didn’t have many side
effects either.

also didn’t have many symptoms. I’ve read about all the horrible side effects
and was nervous that I wasn’t feeling anything lol. I had terrible headaches
while on Lupron but once I’ve added in the stims they have gone away. I’ve only
gotten one bruise from the shots and they don’t seem to hurt too bad. I have been
pleasantly surprised so far. Once you get into a routine, it’s really not so
bad. I’d rather do shots then agonize over the embryos growing and waiting
during the TWW!

Just got the call. 3 embryos left. Transferring 2 of them tomorrow at 12:15. Not sure about acupuncture since I'd have to be there as soon as they open tomorrow but since it's a holiday today they're not open. I'll definitely be able to go afterwards though. I hope all 3 make it so we have to good ones for tomorrow and one to freeze!
That's so exciting @kyrgyzshan! Maybe you have already said it, but why did you pick to transfer two? I would also like to do two so I'm just curious. My acupuncturist said they like you to come in after the transfer so I'm sure you're fine. They also said they will squeeze me in because it is VIP. Good luck tomorrow!

@lilmissslp we went into this process knowing we wanted to transfer as many as we could. Our previous insurance company would only allow 1 while our current allows to transfer 2. I want the best chance of a sticky as possible. Plus both DH and I are 35 and we want a larger family so twins would be great! Also, I saw you mention thinking you'd be uncomfortable around ER to @FatPony. The bloating I had was after the trigger shot. Last cycle it was horrible and I had a mega pregnancy waddle for about 5 days and was super uncomfortable after ER through ET. This time I made sure to drink lots of Gatorade and I think it helped tremendously!! Still minor bloating and cramps but nothing compared to last time. Just something to keep in mind.
@kyrgyzshan That makes sense. I'm glad you were able to chose this time. Two women I know personally, who transferred two, only got one baby so I am all about two. Also, I am fine with twins as well. Two and done! That stinks that you were really uncomfortable last cycle, but I'm so glad to hear that this time has been better. I'll be sure to drink my gatorade. Good luck tomorrow! @FatPony I wish I was feeling something that would confirm bfp @milanjayla we have the same test date gl. AFMSo I had actually started testing day of transfer I had bought like 10 tests from Walmart. Wanted to see about trigger. It was negative and has been negative ever since. I thought it weird that the day of transfers there was no hcg to even get that positive so I went to family dollar and got a $7 test with two in it. Still negative but was the blue dye. So I am hoping that I am testing early seeing I'm only 6dp3dt and I get my bfp soon. On another note. Is anyone who has had there transfer feeling aches or cramps and back aches. It seems lately now if I stand for long periods of times my back starts to ache and in bed its hard to get comfortable. I hope its a good sign.

@mrsmoten313 I haven't POAS yet, but I'm 5dp5dt and my uterus definitely feels...busy. I had some fairly significant cramping from 2-4d post transfer and today the cramps have mostly gone but I feel weird tugging/bubbling type feelings. I'm hoping I'm not psyching myself into creating symptoms, and that these are good signs!
@kfras Totally possible that you tested early. FXed that you get a different result in the next couple days. It's KILLING me not to test, but I'm really trying to wait until closer to beta. I'll probably give in once I'm a full week out.

AFM...started my stims today. Menopur this am and follistim this pm. Everything went great except when I had to break my solvent ampule I totally crushed it and glass everywhere! (I of course did it perfectly it my med class so I didn't even think that I would do that...luckily the menopur comes with extra solvent so I should be fine as long as I don't do that every time
So this is where I did my first Lupron shot of this cycle: DH decided he finally wanted to go to Disneyland, which meant a shot in the bathroom. My first public bathroom shot!

@BornReady@rmarble23@kyrgyzshan I guess I'm the odd ball of the Massachusetts "group" ...I'm using Fertility Centers of New England. Doctor's office is in the Back Bay, but all lab stuff is done in Reading. I live in East Boston, so both are pretty convenient, especially the lab which is kind of on my way to work up on the northshore
@AandDM2014 this is my second cycle and when I went to discuss the new meds with my nurse I told her that occasionally last cycle id taken them with me and shot up : ) in the public bathroom wherever I was. She was adamant that there was no need to do that. She said I could take it before I left the house or after I got home so I wouldn't have to deal with the stress of giving myself shots in public! As long as it wasn't like 5 hours before or after the allotted time, it'd be fine. You should talk to your doc. When I heard that, it was a lot of stress relieved! But nice job!! Good luck!!
****tw***** i just poas at 8dp5dt and got a BFP but then wipped and had some blood?!? And feel like I have some period like cramps. So I'm not sure what to think. Talk abt a rollercoaster of emotions. Anyone have any advice? I go tom for beta but now I'm kind of freaked out. Also, there is no way it's still trigger right? I don't know when that leaves the body. Want to be excited but now of course this concerns me.

@mr&mrs.d - is it old blood? i've heard other people say that they've had some spotting, especially with the progesterone supplements - are you also using those? it must be nervewracking, though! but, congrats on the BFP! did you call i nto your nurse yet? she may be able to offer some advice... FX for you
OMG @Mr&Mrs.DM 8dp5dt is not too early! That's when my RE will test. Congrats on the BFP; fingers crossed it is the real thing. I wouldn't be too concerned about a little blood. You'll find out tomorrow for sure
AFM- I've done 4 nights of stims and had my blood work and ultrasound this morning. My dr. was really happy with my lining (8.4) but seemed a little disappointed in my number of follicles, which of course now makes me worried. I'm on the highest does of medicine so we can't up anything. I have about 8 follicles on each side but he kept saying that he expected more. He said if they all continue to grow then it would be fine but if we only get 3 on each side then it wouldn't be good. I'll know more after Friday's ultrasound but I'm feeling a little bummed.

AFM - had another appointment to check the lining this morning and not much of a change; lining is about 5.2ish and doesn't even have the triple lining. The RE that did the exam said it's far from optimal but I'll get a call this afternoon once my blood work is in. My expectations were low for this appointment so the news isn't anything unexpected. I'm not sure what else to do - acupuncture, drinking beet juice, pomegranate juice, yoga, estrace, and del estrogen don't seem to be doing much. I have a feeling my FET will be pushed back quite a bit at this point and I'm expecting to start over most likely.
On top of that, I slipped and fell last night right on my tail bone, so walking, sitting, etc is uncomfortable today. Thank goodness it's a short week.

@kfras Totally possible that you tested early. FXed that you get a different result in the next couple days. It's KILLING me not to test, but I'm really trying to wait until closer to beta. I'll probably give in once I'm a full week out.

AFM...started my stims today. Menopur this am and follistim this pm. Everything went great except when I had to break my solvent ampule I totally crushed it and glass everywhere! (I of course did it perfectly it my med class so I didn't even think that I would do that...luckily the menopur comes with extra solvent so I should be fine as long as I don't do that every time
DH decided he finally wanted to go to Disneyland, which meant a shot in the bathroom. My first public bathroom shot!

I'm back in the office today but will probably run to CVS and buy a few tests so that I can start POAS first thing tomorrow morning. Just can't resist!

i just poas at 8dp5dt and got a BFP but then wipped and had some blood?!? And feel like I have some period like cramps. So I'm not sure what to think. Talk abt a rollercoaster of emotions. Anyone have any advice? I go tom for beta but now I'm kind of freaked out. Also, there is no way it's still trigger right? I don't know when that leaves the body.
Want to be excited but now of course this concerns me.

AFM- I've done 4 nights of stims and had my blood work and ultrasound this morning. My dr. was really happy with my lining (8.4) but seemed a little disappointed in my number of follicles, which of course now makes me worried. I'm on the highest does of medicine so we can't up anything. I have about 8 follicles on each side but he kept saying that he expected more. He said if they all continue to grow then it would be fine but if we only get 3 on each side then it wouldn't be good. I'll know more after Friday's ultrasound but I'm feeling a little bummed.

AFM - had another appointment to check the lining this morning and not much of a change; lining is about 5.2ish and doesn't even have the triple lining. The RE that did the exam said it's far from optimal but I'll get a call this afternoon once my blood work is in. My expectations were low for this appointment so the news isn't anything unexpected. I'm not sure what else to do - acupuncture, drinking beet juice, pomegranate juice, yoga, estrace, and del estrogen don't seem to be doing much. I have a feeling my FET will be pushed back quite a bit at this point and I'm expecting to start over most likely.
On top of that, I slipped and fell last night right on my tail bone, so walking, sitting, etc is uncomfortable today. Thank goodness it's a short week.
