Currently, I work for a mortgage company as a Processor but I'm thinking of branching out as a Real Estate Agent. I'd love to be on the other side of the mortgage industry and work more directly with people.
I'm in the same industry! I just switched areas, I ised to be an assistant to several mortgage loan officers. Now I review mortgage appraisals for our mortgage division. We are stupid busy right now, and there's never a dull moment in this industry, I don't think anyways.
Um, I would love to just review appraisals. I have to review appraisals, title reports, etc. on each of my loans.
We could work from home but our boss prefers to have everyone in the office. Something about 'team building' or some crap like that.
We only get to work from home if we are sick or have a sick kid. We have a pipeline of 1700 loans on our processing books. I think our processors would go crazy if they had to do appraisals too.

Yeah! We just lost our top performing loan officer so I'm sure that number will decrease . We have full departments for underwriting, processing (they have assistants), us in appraisal review, and disclosures.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
