Where were you in the process? Suppression check or lining check? I already had to delay things because I failed my suppression check (estrogen and progesterone levels waaaay too high--probably ovulated despite being on Lupron), and I am worried they'll be off again at my lining check. I have been cancelled or delayed at every single point in the process so far.
With my suppression check, it only ended up pushing everything back a week (waited for my period to start and just pushed back the start of my delestrogen shots until then).

AFM - I had my first follicle check yesterday and she saw 10 follies that should grow enough to produce eggs. This is already an improvement over last cycle when I only had 4 at ER. I go back in tomorrow to see how things are growing. I'm assuming ER later this week or this weekend with ET next week.
I finally got my calendar! Yay! I start Lupron on 7/4, Estrace on 7/11 and transfer should be during the last week of July if everything goes well with growing a lining (which I am challenged at)!

@PNW12RNI was about a week from transfer. My lining was good, but the estrogen did not prevent my progesterone from rising. The nurse said, "we lost control of the cycle." Anyhoo, I only went through two minivelle packs, so the new meds I didn't waste that much. I have to believe that everything happens for a reason, but I'm still disappointed. Good news though, DH is returning on Wednesday!

AFM...I had my trial transfer last Friday and all looked good! My RE reduced my metformin dose to 1000 mg from 1500 for my PCOS. I just couldn't hack the stomach side effects. Woof! The lowered dose I'm able to handle much better!
I start menopur and follistim next Monday (happy 4th)! this is my first Ivf cycle so in pretty nervous about the mixing and administering the meds...but I've been watching lots of you tube videos and I'm feeling better about it!

@Sunflower5678 my first night it took a solid 10 minutes between each injection as I read my binder on how to accurately prepare each one. By the end of day 14 (I stimmed a long time!), I was pulling out extra meds from used cartridges like nobody's business. It's a steep, but very quick, learning curve!

@mr&mrs.d thank you so much! After 2 years of nothing but negatives, it's pretty amazing and surreal! I did have an acupuncture session the afternoon of my transfer, and I ate pineapple. Other than that I took it easy for a few days!

@kfras welllll I WAS going to wait until my beta. We got this onesie years ago when we first started trying that has been sitting in our spare bedroom (also July 4 is our favorite holiday and its Fourth of July themed so it's perfect!) and I was going to give it to him in a gift bag with the book dude you're gonna be a dad. This has been my plan for ages. After I posted on here and laid in bed wide awake for 2 hours, I couldn't wait to tell him. So I went and grabbed the onesie, sort of woke him up and asked him if I could turn the light on. He had the covers over his face so I told him to open his eyes and handed him the onesie. Then cried. He didn't know what was going on for a second until I told him I took a test and it was positive. We are really excited though trying to keep our excitement under control until beta.

@msirni0 omg congrats honey. You ate pineapples were you told to take baby asprine and if so did you stop in order to eat the pineapples. I only ask cause when I looked it up after someone else advised me about it it said to stop the asprine.

Yesterday they measured 8 follicles. The 4 on my left are growing faster than my right. Left: 7.55 , 9.14 , 6.46 , 7.48
Right: 5.78 , 5.32 , 5.61 , 6.59
They are keeping my dosages the same, but starting me on cetrotide tonight.
My husband was so sweet yesterday. Seeing those follicles on the ultrasound seemed like the best thing that's ever happened to him. It was his first chance to be there with me for an US and he was so excited.
@msirni0 that's so exciting, congratulations! Reading your post about how you told DH got me all choked up. Yay! It looks like I'm on the same protocol as you, so I hope I get the same outcome. Prayers until your positive Beta!

@Knottie17863111 - I have 8 follicles as well! So funny - my DH had a similar reaction as yours. Granted, I was bleeding and he was grossed out so he had to be my my head but he completely tripped out when he saw the follicles on the screen. It was like we're FINALLY moving forward with this and he could see something tangible rather than just talk about this. He's been different - in a good way. He's definitely getting excited, which makes me a little more stressed because I don't want to let him down. Prayers for all of us on this journey!

@msirni0 - yes, seeing the follicles is so cool. That was my first ultrasound so I haven't been able to see them grow - yet. I'm excited! Agreed that the protocol hasn't been too bad and I'm not really seeing any side effects from the meds - DH was expecting me to turn into the devil, based on his friends who have gone through this. @BornReady that is a really good question about the left over needles. I am also wondering what to do with the full sharps containers I have. I feel bad throwing them in the trash (I live near the Jersey shore and keep picturing needles washing up on the beach).

AFM: I am at 6dp5dp today and I am already going crazy. The only thing that is making me feel better is eating tons of food! The progesterone always makes me starving with a bottomless pit appetite. I keep analyzing each symptom just like I do every month! BUT coming on this board after a few days has really helped me feel better. I need to make sure I come and look at this every day. You ladies are great and your positive attitudes literally just lifted me out of my spinning negative thoughts.

@Happydays13 I'm going to be super close to the same cycle as you! I stop bcps on the 3rd, start Lupron on the 4th, and have transfer sometime the last week of July! I too am working out a bit longer than usual for the next few weeks because I know I'll limit myself to 30 easy minutes of walking a day during the 2ww.
AFM - I've scheduled an HSS ultrasound for Thursday afternoon. The last time I had one they found a polyp and I had to do surgery quickly to not impact my stim cycle. This time I am hoping to spend the $565 for them to tell me everything looks great!

AFM...I had my trial transfer last Friday and all looked good!
My RE reduced my metformin dose to 1000 mg from 1500 for my PCOS. I just couldn't hack the stomach side effects. Woof! The lowered dose I'm able to handle much better!
I start menopur and follistim next Monday (happy 4th)! this is my first Ivf cycle so in pretty nervous about the mixing and administering the meds...but I've been watching lots of you tube videos and I'm feeling better about it!

*****TW***** at 8dp5dt transfer I saw my first BFP EVER!!!! A second very dark line! Holy crap! I can't believe this!!! I started crying in the bathroom. Hopefully I can keep this from DH until my beta but I had to tell someone!! And now I really can't sleep

@Sunflower5678 agree with @adunkin after the first night or so, you will because a pro. Even though it was my 2nd time having to mix, I got very overwhelmed the 1st night, so I stepped away for a min to breath and watch a video on mixing, when I came back it all made sense. You got this!

Lots of action happening, I can see :-) There's a procession near my office so we have a holiday tomorrow...clinic is near office and beta test was tomorrow so will test day after now...

Low ovarian reserve
2 IUIs
IVF #1 no luck
IVF #2 ongoing
Yesterday they measured 8 follicles. The 4 on my left are growing faster than my right.
Left: 7.55 , 9.14 , 6.46 , 7.48
They are keeping my dosages the same, but starting me on cetrotide tonight.
My husband was so sweet yesterday. Seeing those follicles on the ultrasound seemed like the best thing that's ever happened to him. It was his first chance to be there with me for an US and he was so excited.

@Knottie17863111 - I have 8 follicles as well! So funny - my DH had a similar reaction as yours. Granted, I was bleeding and he was grossed out so he had to be my my head but he completely tripped out when he saw the follicles on the screen. It was like we're FINALLY moving forward with this and he could see something tangible rather than just talk about this. He's been different - in a good way. He's definitely getting excited, which makes me a little more stressed because I don't want to let him down. Prayers for all of us on this journey!

@Monica54321 - my acupuncturist has same credentials as @mtpbadger and is $80 per session. I'm going about once a week, but have a friend who used her during IVF and swears by her...she even turned the baby from breech the week before delivery!

AFM - on BCPs and just got new box of meds for FET. Start Lupron on 6/29 and stop BCPs on 7/1...then estrogen patches and add progesterone in oil and baby Aspirin. FET tentatively set for 7/26. Trying to workout a bit harder for the next few weeks, as I realized how much weight I've gained through this whole process :-/
first RE visit 11/15, me - blocked left tube and Low AMH, DH - low count, motility not great
5/16 Lupron, gonal f, menopur, dexamethasone (5/19 suppression check: 13 resting follicles; 5/24: estradiol 457 - decreased menopur;
5/27: estradiol 1417, progesterone 0.18, 5 follicles >15mm, 9 follicles 5-15mm; 5/30: estradiol 2964, progesterone 0.8, 9 follicles
>16mm, 6 follicles 6-11mm; 5/31: estradiol 3149, progesterone 4.1; 6/1 ER)
6/16 egg retrieval 6/1 (15 eggs, 14 mature, 7 fertilized with ICSI); 5 day update (5AB (biopsied and frozen), 4AB/C (biopsied and frozen), 2/3, 3 morula, 1 multicellular); 7 day update (4 frozen and sent for CCS: 5AB, 4AB/C, 5AB, 4BB); CCS results (2 normal, 1 abnormal, 1 inconclusive)
7/16 attempt to retest inconclusive - didn't survive thaw
8/16 transfer day 8/1: 2 5AB hatching blasts, beta 8/10 = 250!!, beta #2 8/12 = 572, ultrasound on 8/24...TWINS!

AFM: I am at 6dp5dp today and I am already going crazy. The only thing that is making me feel better is eating tons of food! The progesterone always makes me starving with a bottomless pit appetite. I keep analyzing each symptom just like I do every month! BUT coming on this board after a few days has really helped me feel better. I need to make sure I come and look at this every day. You ladies are great and your positive attitudes literally just lifted me out of my spinning negative thoughts.

AFM - I've scheduled an HSS ultrasound for Thursday afternoon. The last time I had one they found a polyp and I had to do surgery quickly to not impact my stim cycle. This time I am hoping to spend the $565 for them to tell me everything looks great!
