Sitting in triage for increased swelling of feet hands and face, headache, increasing pain/numbness in arm hands and fingers, vision disturbances, and general overwhelming sense of anxiety. You know....the usual. My BP is fine and she's moving around like a lunatic as she normally does. I hate all the waiting involved in pregnancy.
I thought we were supposed to walk and keep active during pregnancy so wtf if I walk a mile come home and sit for awhile and now can't walk without feeling like my pelvis is being ripped in half!!
@Backbypopulardemand- With DD I walked 1-2 miles each day after teaching Kindergarten all day. I ate decently healthy, yet had terrible swelling and gained 49 lbs. With this pregnancy I have hardly any swelling, have gained 30 lbs, yet can barely walk to the mailbox and back without feeling contractions or that baby is going to push through my pelvis. I want to walk more, but nope, not happening this time.
Edited to add- It was comfortable for me to walk with DD. This time it isn't. I am listening to my body and only going on very short walks along with prenatal yoga once a week. I feel like I should be walking more, but also know that listening to my body is more important and my body is saying long walks aren't good!
Turns out all those symptoms are "normal" and my labs came back okay. I'm happy nothing is wrong but so frustrated there's no relief for these symptoms. Heading home to get some much needed rest.
I drink my weight in water everyday, but still wake up feeling hungover EVERY MORNING. A hangover without the fun the night before.... Not fair. I've had several people tell me "oh I miss being pregnant I felt better when I was pregnant than I ever have before." Congratulations, get away from me.
36 weeks. Feeling super nauseous the last few days with some diaherra today. Wasn't concerned until an old lady at church told me that's a sign of labor. Lots of pressure down there and a little crampy but not contracting, I don't think. FTM so I have no idea what to expect. Hating the unknown a bit...
Glad to hear everything is okay @LadyFleck! Lost the rest of my mucous plug last night and this morning so the wait begins! Hopefully she'll come next weekend! That would be nice. Otherwise I'm tired and sore and every normal thing I do makes me feel like I've spent 2 hours doing hard cardio. @tennisbabymama those cramps and pressure could be contractions, if they come and go and you can time them you could be going into labor!
I've had contractions all day today. More intense than the past few days and tend to be 8-10 minutes apart with a few outliers here and there. Longest stretch without was just now with 25 minutes between. Things seem to be happening so hopefully she will make her debut in the next few days.
Thanks @randishane011804 Nothing is regular and I'm not sure it's worth timing quite yet but I'll keep myself alert. I have my weekly appointment in the morning too so that's good.
Good luck @Schmooie730 FX she's gearing up to come on out!
I've had a ton of contractions today too. I think they're still BH but they're getting more frequent and it's uncomfortable (but not painful) to walk through them. I'm not sure if it's because I'm dehydrated from the heat, or have been more active due to my hip hurting less.
Okay, these contractions are so painful but still 8-10 minutes apart. Also a lot of cervical pain. I can't sleep between the two and I feel like I'm going to burst into tears at any moment. I can't get comfortable at all. *end complaining*
@Schmooie730 get into the bathtub or a shower to see if that will help! Bouncing/rolling around on a yoga ball really helped me when I was in labor also! The more tensed up your body is the more they hurt! Hoping those contractions lead to a baby today for you! ❤️
I woke up this morning with nasty acid reflux, rolled over (from right to left) and somehow managed to fall back asleep. 10 minutes later I woke back up with a massive migraine.
Add me to the list of those with cramps/contractions. They were a little painful but not bad. Not much regulatory to them but there enough to for me to make a mental list of all the crap that I need to do at work before this boy comes
So I finally went into L & D with contractions lasting about 2:30 every 3 minutes. They were a 4-5 on pain scale. They checked me out and I haven't dilated anymore since last week- I'm only 1 cm., so they sent me home. They said it could get worse but to labor at home as long as possible because they won't keep me until I'm 4cm. But all night my contractions have gotten MUCH stronger. I'm unable to sleep. I get up to walk around because that was reducing the strength before, and that's not even working. I don't want to go back so soon since it's only been a few hours since I left, but this hurts! Also, I thought I was feeling my cervix stretch all day, and obviously I was wrong...

If it's causing you concern, I'd definitely go back if I were you! The worse thing that they can do is send you back home.
@DachshundMomma I would go back if I were you, especially if they have increased in strength. It is very possible to go from a 1 cm to the 4 they want (or more) very quick. Good luck, FX they keep you!
