Sometimes I have a "bless her heart" feeling when my friends complain about their "extremely difficult" 6 hour labor with their first where they pushed twice, didn't feel pain, and ta-da.
Maybe I'm just jealous cuz it took my 42 hours of horror before getting called for an emergency c section. Maybe it's that they know what I went through and have a braggy tone about it. Maybe I'm just a bad person.
The more someone posts about how wonderful their marriage is on social media the closer I believe they are to divorce. You don't need to convince me, girl... But you sure seem like you've got something to prove.
I haven't talked to the bratty girl who's lying to her parents about being married for a month or so now, and it feels so good.
DH talked to her husband a few days ago, and the guy was like, "I need to escape. She doesn't let me hang out with my friends anymore." I smiled and laughed upon hearing his woes, because karma is a bitch and I am not sorry for him or her in the least.
I'm getting a milkshake today. I've had a hell of a week and I damn well deserve a chocolate milkshake! Possibly a doughnut, too. But a milkshake for sure. I don't care what DH says.
Update: Baby wanted a smoothie. Baby won.Caribbean Way from Smoothie King. Good idea, baby!

Many of you posted in the thankful Thursday thread that you are thankful for your wonderful husbands. And while it is true I am very thankful for DH my first thought was how thankful I am for the brand spankin new Quiktrip that opened up down the street yesterday. I walked in their yesterday and it was like my own personal heaven. I can't get enough of their icees and this location has more selection than I could have hoped for.

I totally wore a dirty shirt to work today. I forgot it had drippings from Chinese food on the boob, so I hung it back up for a second wear. Yeah, still Chinese food on the boob from Monday. I will get a stain stick at lunch and see what I can do to rectify the situation. But I also don't really care, because the only other people in the office today are men, and they shouldn't be looking at my (huge) boob.
@DiFazette MIL and SFIL have been very loving/needy on Social Media for the last month. I told H that something was wrong, well they called Wednesday morning saying that they are separating while they decide if they just want separate wings of the same house or to go for the entire divorce.

While I don't believe in symptom competition between pregnant women, I do occasionally feel "superior" in that I never have issues with constipation. Sometimes when I'm sitting on the toilet for my second or third poop of the day, I just bask in my awesomeness.

@LinziLoo09 - and to think I really liked you up until 20 minutes ago. You go poop in all your glory... Jerk.
Other people's kids annoy me. I was a teacher before becoming a SAHM and there were some annoying kids, but the structure and rules kept them from all being annoying. Since becoming a mom, it seems like at least 98% of kids that I come in to contact with annoy me. I feel bad because DH is a children's pastor.

This is not a personal attack... But I have another -
I have very very little patience for people who are pregnant that don't do their research and understand what things mean. Like don't even try.
Its not not that hard to use the googlizer and find good sources. Educate yourself. There are loads of resources for you to be hella informed at your fingertips. Ask questions at your doctors appointments. Keep asking until you understand. Now is not the time for apathy.
@LinziLoo09 I had to pull a @DiFazette this morning and perform some black magic just to poop. Was fairly certain baby was going to burst through my stomach with a suitcase like, "I'm outta here!"
@DiFazette +1 to the great googlizer. I am a lover of research and reading, and it baffles me how some people don't use these incredible resources we have to learn about everything...anything...SOMETHING! But as one lady told me..."Well, I just don't LIKE reading." Aallllrrriiiggghhttyy then.
If it makes you feel any better @dmontgo and @DiFazette on average I'm down from 4-5 poops a day to 1-3 poops a day, so I have taken a hit from pregnancy. I have a 'gifted' bottom, an overachiever if you will. There's probably something wrong with me.

My husband is also gifted and it annoys the hell out of me. How can a human poop that much? What are you eating? And how much? My gosh!

I'm gifted in another way...you could set an atomic clock based on my "duty schedule". I've only been thrown off twice this pregnancy and it was due to later than usual dinners. It's taken me years to get this consistent and my first pregnancy did not impact it at all. I'm hoping for the same outcome this time lol.
@sourlemon - have you had your hot seat yet? If not, I will be looking for an answer to the 'what's important to you this pregnancy' question to mention your poop schedule consistency.
@LinziLoo09 Being constipated is so weird for me because I generally have a very sensitive stomach. 3 poops a day was totally normal for me. I'm still going once everyday or every other day, but sometimes it is like being in the Olympics, except I'm not even a runner-up lol.
@sourlemon - have you had your hot seat yet? If not, I will be looking for an answer to the 'what's important to you this pregnancy' question to mention your poop schedule consistency.
Hahaha I have not had my hot seat yet! Hopefully I'll remember this! Years of hard work and dedication haha.
DiFazette - I am amazed at some people's inability to Google, not just with pregnancy. I have a friend on social media that is always posting things like, "where can I buy a lawn chair" or "how do you make pancakes".
@LinziLoo09 I used to have no problem pooping pre-PG. Certain foods? Done. Just because? Done. It was great.
So for me, the constipation has been horrible. But, I will say that it's gotten better the last week (keep that going!!) so maybe it's figuring itself out finally. I did buy some stool softener last week for when it's needed, so maybe it didn't want to deal with that and brought back some regularity. I don't know but for this week, whatever I eat after I get home work, and then lay down for a bit, just doesn't agree. I can't complain, at least something is coming out.

I do not envy the constipation some ladies are experiencing. Even regular, I feel pretty bloated, and constipation can be straight up painful. If it makes you feel any better, constipation is like the one symptom I DON'T have. My body finds creative ways to torture me during pregnancy...like ongoing kidney stones (at least one tiny one every other week but sometimes much larger). Next time you're cursing my name while straining to poop, picture me crying as I try to push a rock out my peehole.
@LinziLoo09 Ugh I am sorry you are dealing with kidney stones...only time I've ever vomited from pain! I'll take my constipation and go sit quietly on the toilet lol.
We're visiting the ILs this weekend bc DHs grandparents are in town. I'm anticipating DHs grandfather trying to touch my belly and attempting to figure out how I can get my point across that that's not wanted without being rude.
I love how this thread has turned into a poop discussion. My SO goes several times a day like clockwork...annoying at the moment. I could eat bran and salad all day, every day, and still wait impatiently for days for my time of glory. My 5 year tried to give me tips; "Mommy, you just push like this. It's easy". Thanks babe.
Here's a golden toilet for all you smug poopers out there I don't even want to scare y'all with my pregnancy constipation stories. suffice it to say there is permanent damage.
Ugh, DH always has to tell me when he has to poop, then he'll come out and tell me how much lighter he feels. I tell him I hope his a$$ hurts afterwards. Jerk. I've had the opposite problem for about a week now, and today the constipation has started back up. Then again, I didn't have food in my system the other day so that could explain it...

I have another one: I hate pizza crust. I really don't want to eat it and only do if there's sauce to dip it in, or we are at a friend's house. It's just so ick after the deliciousness of the pizza.
And we are going to Applebee's tonight. I've been thinking about it all week and I'm so excited, though I'm always disappointed by the food.
I made my 2 year old watch the Gilmore girls with me during breakfast this morning. Then Rory started making out with Jess and I noticed she was especially engrossed. A little while later she took out a couple of her Little People, smushed them together and said, "Momma! Hug each other!" Oopsies
@LinziLoo09 kidney stone?! Sorry love that's just painful!
My SIL had her baby boy last night and he is absolutely precious! She had a c-section and last night I had a crazy dream I was at the hospital, ready to deliver, and I was asking my doctor when to start pushing. He's like "don't worry the baby will eat her way out" and I was like "won't I have a scar?" And he's like "yeah we will fix that" all I remember is being super relaxed with that notion. Ummmmm wtf. I woke up so confused.

I've been laying in bed Snopes'ing people on Facebook while my H is downstairs with DD and thinks I'm sleeping.
Side note: I'm so sick of the absurdity that comes out of the woodwork especially after tragedy. People get click and share happy because, well, if the Internet said it, it must be factual.
My eyes have done some serious rolling this morning.
This will probably get flames but I don't understand he desire to find out baby's gender at the earliest point possible. I get wanting to plan and stuff, but it's a baby. It will be a baby eight months from now. They all do the same thing, eat and poop and sleep. They don't care what color their clothes or room are, plus you can use gn stuff for subsequent children too instead of having to rebuy everything. Not knowing gender made delivery that much more exciting, and I feel like knowing what baby is before hand is kind of anticlimactic.
