ok so I had my 3D ultrasound done behind everyone's back yes even hubby because my doctor said I could wait but I couldn't..any way I had it done at 16 weeks a couple days..The tech said boy and showed me his pee pee...Now this Thursday I have my big U/S with doctor and hubby...My doctor and hubby swear it is a girl because of heartbeat and some other stupid reasons...What if the ultrasound this time says girl?? I am going to be so confused because I saw a boy last time..I am so nervous that I am not going to be certain and plan for one sex and the other is born..Anyone feel the same or have similar situation?? Help
Re: Gender anyone told one sex and then next U/S another sex
ditto this.
No I am not gulity...lol...I had to know because my husband and I have been fighting over boy names so I had to know if it was a boy to persuade him in the boy name section prior to him knowing the sex...haha
I am just nervous that i will get a different reading and be totally confused bc I saw a pee pee..lol...and my baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead she said at 16 weeks.. who knows..
According to the old wives tale about the heartrate, I should be having a girl.
We are having a boy.
I can't believe you went behind your husband's back and got a 3D u/s done. That was low.

totally this.... haha.
not really my husband was being a jerk so I just went... I love how people can never just answer a question and have to throw their opinions in..cracks me up...I am a biotch so I guess that was low..
o well
you did put it out there. Honestly if I got an u/s done without my hubby there, he would be angry and rightfully so.
What would you say if he happened to be the one carrying the child and did it?
Just so you could persuade him in names for a few weeks?
I know that..I just keep hearing stories of this nature and it would be annoying to plan for one sex and then find out they were wrong
I had a "fun" ultrasound done around 15 weeks where they were 75%sure it was a boy (friend of the family who does internal ultrasounds for the hospital) and when we went for our official ultrasound almost 4 weeks later my OBGYN confirmed it was a girl. So yes, it can happen. And sometimes I still find it hard to believe and actually regret the first ultrasound because it got me worked up.
As far as old wives tales, thats all they are. During the ultrasound where our tech measured the heartbeat (and the appointment after that) her heartbeat was at 135. OWT say that girls are always 150+.
Wow, grow up and get some respect for your husband. He is the father of your child and that really was incredibly low and immature.
Also, if your OB "swears" that you are having a girl based on OWT's, he is a quack.
