Boy Name Poll

Sooo I'm due next week, but I still haven't decided on a middle name. I picked Carter, and had to work hard to get DH on board with it, and Hendrix and Maverick are his favorites, but I just don't know if I'm sold on either one. What are your thoughts?

Personally I like Carter Thomas best, but I think Carter Hendrix is a good compromise and flows nicely.

I like Carter Thomas best.

Personally I find Hendrix and Maverick super trendy and trying to hard to sound edgy and cool. That said since it's the middle spot it's not as big a deal and naming is compromising. I just feel like as a whole Carter Thomas is a strong name and much stronger and solid than any other choices.

Carter Thomas sounds the best, but I voted for Carter Hendrix because I feel that's a good compromise with your DH. Since you had the main voice in the first name, and to me, a middle name can go quite a bit more 'unique', I'd give him his choice for the mn.

What's your last name start with and how many syllables?
Carter Knox or Carter Thomas.

But a hard No to Hendrix and Maverick.

I can feel the trendiness in the name, trust me. Lol. It's just I've tried to sway him in other directions and he is not a fan. He says how I chose the first name, am I really not gonna let him pick out the middle name. So I'm really trying to hand it over to him, it's just hard when I don't absolutely love it.

I love Carter. I chose Thomas. It's my son's mm. If you want something more unexpected Hendrix or Banks are ok. I really despise Maverick as a name. Seems silly to me.

So I like the one syllable MN for your last name. Carter Banks Johnson, Carter Knox Johnson. But I don't like Cruz with the alliteration.

You said you had to work hard to get DH on board with Carter so I think you owe it to him to give him the MN pick, even if it's out there. Most people never know anyone's MN anyway. That said, I prefer Hendrix over Maverick...whenever I hear Maverick all I think of is the McCain/Palin campaign for some reason.
