pg & uti...

anyone experience a uti while pg?  i'm 99% sure that i have a uti, this morning i could see some pink on the toilet paper when i wiped.... last time i had a uti i had a lot of blood in my urine and the doc thought i might have passed a kidney stone... owie!!! 

 

now ive got to wait on the doctors office to open so i can try to get an appt.... honestly the pink when i wiped kind of scared me but im almost positive that its from a uti.... hopefully nothing is wrong otherwise!!  i wish i could just go up to urgent care but my insurance no longer covers urgent care appointments.  uuuugh!  c'mon 8am!!!   i honestly think i've been to the bathroom like 15 times since about 5am..... i know that frequent urination is common during pregancy but i think even that's a bit excessive!!!

 

anyone know if the obgyn can test for a uti?  it would be nice if i could just go to one doc instead of 2 since ive got to make my obgyn appt as well...

You might even be able to buy UTI test strips at the drugstore now.  They're made by AZO.  Still go to your doc, but might be worth doing while you wait.

yes, your OB can test and treat UTI's. They're very common in pregnancy. Hope you're feeling better!

Yes, my one and only UTI was while I was pg.  It wouldn't go away -- yuck.  I hope you can get treated soon!
