I only plan on getting cute crib sheets. Our crib is the babyletto hudson crib, and it's modern enough I don't think we need a crib skirt.
Anyone know any cute stores/etsy shops that have unique (but not super expensive) crib sheets? Ideally gray and white? We're registering at Target and Amazon.
FTM here, but I read that layering pads/sheets in the crib potentially increases the risk of SIDS. We got a waterproof mattress so we're skipping the waterproof pad.
We did the EverTrue Elite Mattress for the girls---it is waterproof dual sided mattress that has a firm side for baby and softer side for toddler. It is awesome! No mattress pads and you just wipe in clean and move on. It was pricey---I think like $200 a couple of years ago, but so worth it, and they will use it until they move to Queen beds.

OH, also, we bought this beautiful Pottery Barn monogrammed set with skirt, quilt and sheets and never used really any of it other than the sheets. They hate blankets and pillows even now at 2.5, so they still don't use the quilts.
That being said, I will probably do bedding for this little girl's as well b/c it is so cute and I'm an idiot

@Blonde1817 I'm thinking about the Babyletto Modo, so it's possible mine will look fine without a crib skirt too. Many of the etsy shops I looked at were selling crib sheets for like $50, sometimes more. Seems a little ridic to me for just a sheet. On babybedding.com you can choose from their fabric, and they have a good amount, and their sheets are $29, still on the pricey side compared to sheets at somewhere like Target, but they have more options.
