WAYDTGKU: I did not take an aspirin last night. Talking DH into wanting me next week, PNV, extra folic acid. Getting these damn blood sugars back under control. This is no longer a 6.0%, that's for sure.

R/R/CS: I am trying, and failing, to stay positive about this cycle. It's hard for me. In my gut I feel that HIO, even with Clomid and Ovidrel, won't work; that IUI's are really what we need. This is our last round trying "naturally" before we move on to IUI...though, we may have to take next month off because we're going on vacation. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that but...one step at a time.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? Gah, I don't even know. I'm empathetic?
R/R/CS: temp was up this morning so I feel pretty good about O yesterday or maybe Sunday. Time will tell! Waiting on more high temps.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? Hmmm... work wise I would say attention to detail and thoroughness. In my personal life, I am trying to work towards being more forgiving of others. I want that to be my greatest strength. I know that wasn't the question but that's my answer!
@sammajane19 I'm sorry you're feeling out already this cycle. Sending you hugs!
WAYDTGKU: Normal NTNP stuff...checking CM and sex when we feel like it.
R/R/CS: I'm really bummed about not being able to temp this month, because while I SUSPECT I ovulated Sunday, I had some EWCM this morning, so I have no idea now. I think since I'm planning to POAS if I make it to day 35 without a period I'm going to head to the TWW tomorrow under the assumption that I ovulated Sunday. I haven't made it to day 35 in any cycle PP, so I think that's pretty fair. it's not unusual for me to have some EWCM after ovulation either, based on previous months, so who knows what is going on. MUST TEMP NEXT MONTH even if my sleep is bad. Unless I'm somehow pregnant this cycle, which I seriously doubt because we maybe hit one fertile day (?) and that's it.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? God, I don't know. *TW* DD is about to turn 1 next week so I've made it a full year now never having more than 7 hours of sleep a night, never sleeping in past 5:30am, and never having to supplement with formula even though I've been working full time since she was 12 weeks old, and even through 3 bouts of mastitis, so I guess I'm pretty proud of myself for surviving. I basically had to give up almost all of my hobbies to have time to pump for her, so I'm selfless I guess? I love when people on FB are like "I can't believe my baby is 1!" I'm going to be like "I absolutely believe that my baby is 1, this has been the longest year OF MY LIFE." Yet I'm ready for another one. LOL.
WAYDTGKU: BBT/CM, Green Tea. Anyone else doing Omega 3s and zinc? I've been trying those supplements this cycle along with PNV.
R/R/CS: I am trying to be consistent with exercise this cycle but I messed up my back somehow this weekend! The thing is I can't even figure out how I might have injured it other than sleeping funny?! I am totally feeling like an old lady. DH is training for a Spartan Race (basically from not working out in a year) so I still went for a run with him last night. Currently debating whether that was a wise decision.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? I have a pretty even temperament and don't get rattled easily when it comes to work. In my personal life, I would say loyalty. I guess that is the Taurus in me.
R/R/CS: I am feeling really really frustrated. Since not being bale to move forth with the RE this month for monitored cycle, DH and I agreed to give it our best and do all of it. As I have mentioned a couple times, he has been really great at HIO when I say we need to, and has gone from EOD to ED. Yesterday I finally got a peak on the CBAD, and a decent temp drop so I told him his break was coming. So last night a couple hours before bed he developed a massive migraine. Totally not his fault. I get it. I was not even going to try and ask him to just lay there and let me take the goods. I could see his pain. So last night was a total bust. Timing has been pretty great so far, so I cant bee TOO down in the dumps about it. But I am just kind of.... annoyed this morning. On the flip side, I enjoyed a delicious Starbucks S'mores frap on my way to work. Got it with all the lowfat/low sugar options. And it was just as good as its normal version.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? Like @Sugargirl1019, keeping calm in chaos. Also, I have a TON of patience (most of the time). Being in the hospitality industry has kind of made me develop the patience that I have. It worked in my favor as DH has severe PTSD from the Military, so patience is a must
R/R/CS: positive OPK last night. Woohoo! This is my first month using them so it'll be interesting to see how long it takes for me to O. No temp rise this morning, but I expect it in the next couple of days.
I am not ready to be awake this morning. Of course, I never really am. :-/
GTKY: What is your greatest strength?
I am pretty good at math? That's a good thing, especially since I work with numbers.

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, Levothyroxin, PNVs, whatever else I can try.
R/R/CS: Well, yesterday I had a pretty good temp drop and waited to see if it went up today and it did. This is the first time I've temped and it's really neat to see that on a chart. DH is really good about HIO when we need to. I think our timing has been good. But my only question is those OPKs. I have wondfo and they never seem to get a full positive. It has to be completely darken to be consider positive, right? It's confusing and frustrating. Temping and CM says O and OPKs say no. what gives?
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? I'm overly organized (almost OCD) with every aspect of my life - work, finances, whatever. It drives DH crazy, but I reminded him constantly... you married me
@GrabberBlue2010@Saralee797@Sugargirl1019 - patients is some I lack tremendously. I have the shortest amount of patience for anything. Definitely my greatest weakness. edited for spacing

R/R/CS: Last night when I got home from work, I took another OPK and it was an even stronger positive than the AM. This morning it is still positive, but not as strong. I had a slight temp rise, but our room was super hot. At 4 AM there were damn birds chirping right outside our window and I sleep yelled at them to shut up, so DH closed the window. I guess we will see what happens over the next couple days. I think we are both over HIO, which sucks because now is when it needs to happen. We do this ever cycle and I'm over it.
R/R/CS: I signed up to run a 10k in September. In the past, I would run 2 half marathons and at least five 5ks a year but stopped running when I was KU with DS. Running made me so happy and I'm starting again. My endurance is shot though and every mile is a struggle.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? I was a PICU nurse for a lot of years and saw a lot of hurt and despair. I give really, really good hugs and have cried with many families. I guess the point of that is, I'm caring and am a good listener.
R/R/CS: I have cramps from hell today but it's okay because I also have Sunny D and pudding.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength: I don't really have any strengths... but I could blow your mind with useless 80's trivia and obscure song lyrics.
R/R/CS: well, I told my manager that starting next week, I will begin fertility treatment so I'll probably have to take random days and/or times off. I'm so exciiiiited! He was uncomfortable but understanding haha which is all that I could hope for!
WAYDTGKU: The boring part of cycle...just waiting for AF to do her thing then leave....
R/R/CS: It's absolutely GORGEOUS out today. Supposed to be a high of 82 and sunny (minimal humidity) today. Looking forward to a nice walk during lunch.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? Like many of you ladies, I keep calm under pressure. I've been told by many bosses that I keep "cool, calm and collected" under tight deadlines (verbatim by 3 bosses). Also, I can research the shit out of things, but that's also my job (due diligence).

@GrabberBlue2010 your comment about Tuesday being the 2nd Monday = YES! I have always said Tuesday is the worst day of the week because you can't even complain that it's Monday yet it's no where near the weekend, there's no hope in sight!

WAYDTGKU: temping, cm, cp, PNV's and B6 EOD (it's a thing really. no. no it's not I just suck at remembering them despite the fact that I have put a reminder on my phone) HIO EOD starting yesterday. It's gonna be a long 10-12 days.
R/R/CS: Got kinda sad last night thinking that if this cycle is not the one then I only have on more before I would probably TTA for 2 cycles due to my best friend's wedding that I'm a maid of honor in. If I got KU in my august cycle I would potentially give birth 2-4 weeks before her wedding and I know the PP phase can be brutal on your body and I would hope to try EBF which would not really leave me available to be with her all day. Then the next cycle I would be due 2 weeks after her wedding date and you never know if you can deliver early (at any point really) but I would just not want to risk missing her big day as she was such a huge part of mine. I know a lot of people would not TTA in this situation but I probably will, and it bums me out.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength?
This is a nice question. I would say my ability to give unbiased advice. I don't like to toot my own horn but this is what I hear from my friends a lot. That even though my advice is very straight forward and sometimes not what they want to hear, they like coming to me when they want an honest opinion and good support. It makes me feel good I believe you have to be a good friend to have good friends!
@sammajane19 sorry you are feeling down about this cycle--I know the feeling well! It's like...why should I have any hope? Why should I put all this effort forth for nothing? Blah. @sandwichlover FX for confirmed O soon! @saralee797 I also feel like an old lady when it comes to exercise!! I've been trying to run but my knees have been hurting...like, what!? @grabberblue2010 Sorry you are frustrated with timing. Just remember, research shows EOD is almost just as effective as ED! @linzrunz I'm hoping we both get our temp spike tomorrow. I was reallllllllly hoping it would be this morning. Oh well, one more day to HIO. @mleandre Usually we move over to TWW after FF gives CH. If you just had your first temp spike today, you'll likely get CH after two more days of high temps. And yes, the test line on an OPK is supposed to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive. I have never gotten a true positive on a wondfo OPK, though, and my temps show I've ovulated every cycle! I gave up on OPKs and now rely fully on temps. @pepperat Hope you got it in last night after that strong positive ;-) I'm also starting to get sick of HIO so reallly hoping we both get our temp spike tomorrow! @mokay19 That's great that your manager was understanding.

WAYDTGKU: just HIO and waiting for my temps to show ovulation
R/R/CS: H was supposed to wake me up for sex this morning but didn't!! Guess we'll settle for some afternoon delight.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? Hmm, I don't know! I'm not good at talking positively about myself. I think I'm pretty easy to get along with.
@Saralee797 Fellow Taurus, what what! Cycle/Month: 6/7
CD: 20
WAYDTGKU: Clomid & BBT
R/R/CS: It's our anniversary! 19 years Would love to make a forever gift for H this cycle, haha. It's CD 20 and the second morning of my temps dropping. I go get CD21 bloodwork done tomorrow so I guess if my temps aren't right, at least I'll know for sure...right?
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? I am calm in chaos as well and I'm a really good listener. I have two degrees in communication and can read nonverbals in folks I don't event know. I also read lips and can tell you precisely what the coaches are yelling at the players/refs during football season.

R/R/CS: Trying to be patient waiting to hear back from my doctor about her thoughts on my LP (usually 10-11 days, last cycle was 9) and any ideas she might have.
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? I'm pretty independent and creative about how to get stuff done on my own. I've moved a number of times--bed and everything--without any help. Things like hauling full-size mattresses up stairs on tarps and muscling it onto the roof of my car.

R/R/CS: This weekend is our anniversary and my fertile week. We're going away to our favorite coastal town and I'm feeling super optimistic that this will be our cycle. I'm not worried about being realistic because no matter how I feel now I'll feel the same dissapointment if it's not our cycle, so I might as well feel good now!
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? I'm pretty easy to get along with.
Just a "keep your chin up" nod to everyone who is feeling like they missed a peak day to HIO - remember that the whole FW counts, and missing -1 or O is not as big of a deal as we think at the time. **TW for previous BFP mention**

WAYDTGKU: I'll list 'em all today: PNVs, green tea and mucinex during FW, went off of allergy meds (all meds, really), checking CM, temping/charting. Low sugar diet. Special this month: Clomid, TI, IUI, progesterone.
R/R/CS: Picked up my clomid this morning, it's alllllll happening!
GTKY: What is your greatest strength? I am extremely adaptable and I make friends easily.
@felix08 & @AndiPandi127 - Thank you! See, THIS is why this place is the best. Yall really helped settle my mind a bit. Helped me to look on the brighter and more positive side!
@AndiPandi127 Have you noticed using mucinex that it makes a large difference? Most cycles I only find EWCM when checking internally. Only once did I have a cycle where I was like oh shiiiii, there's the EWCM! I might try the mucinex during next week's FW...
@ahrains@RatParade Hey there June brides! Happy Anniversary!! Ours is the 28th.
@AndiPandi127 I've been thinking about going off allergy meds. I have pretty dead serious allergies though. Are you doing anything natural to compensate or just dealing with the symptoms?
@Kiki119 Totally impressed by your muscle strength. Its amazing what we can do on our own with a little drive!!
@GrabberBlue2010 It's hard, I always feel the same way! Hugs to you, you're doing everything right!
@Schumerator So, from what I have read (if I wasn't lazy, I'd find you a source), it's more about the CM we can't reach than what we can - completely anecdotal, but the month I got my one BFP, I took it for the 3 days leading up to O. Did that make the difference? Hard to say. But I do notice the CM I can see tends to be more copious when I take it.
@Saralee797 When I had allergy testing done a few years ago, they tested me for 63 allergens - I was positive on all but 6! So I feel you! But, when I was on Zyrtec, I saw NO CM. Like, ever. When I went off, it came back. Two things have helped: Acupuncture (oh I didn't add that to my WAYDTGKU but I love it), and and low sugar/wheat diet. I am NOT allergic to wheat. But anecdotally, it seems to make a huge difference when I eliminate it.
@PepperAT People have reminded me of the same thing in the past right at the right moments, so I am happy pass it along!
@AndiPandi127 I am in the same boat. So bad that I have been doing immunotherapy shots for a year plus. I am thinking of stopping those too because I am not seeing as much of an improvement as I thought by now and the time commitment is killing me. I am taking Allegra daily and I usually get two days of EWCM but its hard to tell what is enough, you know? I am strongly considering acupuncture... you girls have sold me on it!
@Sugargirl1019 Glad to hear that the bleeding is better. @sammajane19 I'm sorry that you feel like this cycle won't make a difference. So I hope that you can just have fun together even if it doesn't serve a purpose. @SandwichLover I've been all about the BMBs lately, too. @delujm0 Good luck temping next month. Even if it's not perfect, it's something to go on! @Saralee797 I think my PNV covers the zinc and I do fish oil. As in the liquid because they said it was the best. It's alright tasting. Do you have a foam roller you could try for your back? Or try just lying down on a hard flat floor. Usually helps me if it's a minor issue. @GrabberBlue2010 That's still awesome timing and you still have today and tomorrow! According to FF, when it adds in temps and CM info, it says that I usually O the day after I get a peak reading. So keep at it! @linzrunz You're a CBDA person, right? I usually O the day after peak reading. @mleandre I usually wait until FF gives me CH, but since my LP is short, it makes TWW a heck of a misnomer so I think I'm going to start moving over when I think I'm 1 DPO. Also, the OPKs aren't an exact science. Lots of ladies have a short surge so it's hard to catch your LH surge. @PepperAT A Preseed toast to the both of you being able to rally for just a couple more days. @clover28 You've done some amazing things for people. I'm certain that your presence is one of the tender mercies people experienced during their time. @Dilynne "GTKY: I'm very useful on trivia night." Fixed that for you. @mokay19 Glad that the conversation with your manager went well! @juliebeannn Have a lovely lunchtime stroll! @Schumerator You're a heck of a good friend. FX that this cycle works. @felix08 You're smart and funny and kind. Have a happy afternoon delight! @mrsdee15 I love when TB insists that I bold things. Hope O shows up soon! @TheJerilu Patience is an excellent strength. It's one of the things that I should work on more... @ahrains How did you learn to read lips?!? I want to learn! @RatParade Which lube are you talking about? Preseed? That one comes with one tube of sauce and about 9 baster things. So the basters are single use and the tube is just like a toothpaste tube--good for a while. @AndiPandi127 FX!!! So exciting!

@ahrains Happy anniversary! @kiki75 I think (based on what people have said previously on here) that a 1-2 day fluctuation of LP length can be normal, so don't despair. And thank you for your kind words! @ratparade Enjoy your anniversary trip! @saralee797 I was also a June bride!! Best month to get married ;-) Our anniversary is the 27th and I can't deny that I've imagined a BFP as the perfect anniversary gift.

@kiki75 It's Astroglide. It comes with like 10 of these applicator things, there's no separate tube of sauce and baster
@kiki75 My grandmother was completely deaf by the time I was little. She read lips (she didn't learn to sign) and in order for her to understand us, you had to enunciate every. single. syllable. If you have to do that, it gives you insight into how words are formed. I started losing my hearing a few years ago (on one side, thankfully) and it is habit for me to watch people's mouths when they talk, as opposed to their eyes. Ta dah!

I am not ready to be awake this morning. Of course, I never really am. :-/

It drives DH crazy, but I reminded him constantly... you married me
@GrabberBlue2010 @Saralee797 @Sugargirl1019 - patients is some I lack tremendously. I have the shortest amount of patience for anything. Definitely my greatest weakness.

It makes me feel good
@sandwichlover FX for confirmed O soon!

@AndiPandi127 FX!!! So exciting!
