Ok guys, the SANE people finay came out and now she's backtracking and saying it WAS wrong and he should be punished she just thinks we need to teach women to be safe because there "sick people in the world". One of which commented that if he covered himself in honey and jumped in a bear pit, it wouldn't be the Bears fault. And with that, I officially give up on humanity.

@MRSCORKER I gave up on humanity a long time ago. These things just remind me why. All I can do is raise my girls to be kickass individuals and hope that their generation will be new and improved.
Thanks all for the feedback! Maybe I can pull this off. My doctor recommended getting an epidural (I was planning to go med free) and going to the smaller hospital where I'd be able to meet all of the midwives ahead of time and let them know the situation. I am TERRIFIED of getting an epidural but a c-section would be worse.
@annabenanna I am so jealous of your trip! I'm married to a German who is not at all happy about giving 50% of our salaries to Greece's inability to manage money or refugees, so he refuses to ever go. But I want to!!! Must find a non-German travel buddy
I was terrified of the epi, but it turned out to be no big deal. They didn't set up until my back was turned, and had me bend over into a pillow and had a nurse hold me through the contractions. I felt a decent stabbing pain for a second and then nothing. It took all of a minute and a half according to DH.
@mrscorker I haven't made overnight oats in so long. Thank you for reminding me they exist!
I kinda forgot about them too. I used to be obsessed and I'm so sick of eggs I had to mix it up. I think I'll go with PB chocolate chip for Thursday. The possibilities are endless

OH Also little guy (our hopefully soon to be adopted son) had a great apt at the clinic with the American surgeons yesterday. They said it looks like he was lucky in the way his scars formed that with some regular strong massages the scar tissue should not effect joint movement and they were all gushing over how handsome he was. Plus it meant I got a got 5 hours to spend with him alone even if it was sitting in a waiting room.
So, what's everyone's deal with Braxton hicks contractions? Are you feeling them yet, and how often/how far along are you? I turned 20 weeks on Saturday and last night I had what I thought were two back to back. I've never been pregnant before so I'm only going off what I read they are supposed to feel like. It was like something moved from the top, down and then there was a hard ball where it ended. I tried to tell myself that one of the babies could have moved and rolled into a ball right there, but it really just seemed like it could have also been a contraction because the hardness went away after I switched positions. I am pretty sunburnt, so probably a little dehydrated even though I am chugging water like its my job. I just don't know what to be worried about or not. They were back to back so I was afraid we were going to need to go to the hospital. Anyone?
Yes. They were pretty bad a few days last week so I almost went in, but finally went away. I'm definitely asking my MFM on Friday for a protocol if it happens again. I know they are going to tell me to push water (I already drink a gallon plus a day).
Guys, look what one of my girlfriends made me! (Well, made the baby...) FYI - Flynn is my first baby, our 1 year old Chiweenie (half chihuahua, half dachsund). So stinking cute, and so teeny! Just hope baby isn't too huge to fit in it at least once!
@nlane0723 I am sorry yours were bad, but thankful I'm not the only one. Mine aren't painful, so I am going to wait to ask my OB tomorrow at my appointment. I try to keep drinking more water, but I really think I need more. If I'm doing ANYthing active, I get them.
We have begun our road trip to Charleston and made the first stop for me to get out and walk around/pee. DH made me walk around the parking lot to get the blood flow going. I felt totally ridiculous.

@sjo_thetwins I've been getting BH a lot the last couple of evenings. I think it's from work, constantly picking up 1 year olds is really taking a toll on me. I'm going to ask the dr again at my appt next week as well.
I teach middle school, and one of my kids brought this in from him and his mom yesterday. So sweet! I definitely cried. Also, can you imagine this big, tall 8th grade boy carrying this big box of diapers through the middle school hallways? I love it.
My best friend moved about 5 hours away this week. She is starting her residency at her dream hospital so I am so happy for her but I am also just so sad. We usually hang out every weekend and it's supposed to be really nice this weekend but I'm probably going to be stuck at home moping (husband's working Friday and Saturday nights, booooo shift work.) We have a Facetime date for Sunday after my anatomy scan but it's not the same. Very pouty.
Ugh, that sucks @scostel2. I moved away from my BFF almost 10 years ago now... While I still frequently wish that he was just around the corner, and we could just hang and watch TV or go shopping together, we have managed to keep our friendship just as strong as when we actually did live near each other. And, it makes visits so very special!! I know it's not the same as her being right there, but hang in there, it gets easier!! Thank goodness for cellphones and Facetime!!
I should have known better than to order dresses off of Zulilly...but they were so cute! But after waiting forever for them to come in, they're too big. I ordered larges, but they fit more like XLs and just hang off me. And of course there's that whole no return policy so I'm stuck with them I'm super sad about this & now don't know what to do with them. I could really use that money to buy something that actually fits!
@scostel2 That really sucks. My BFF lives far from me as well, and there's a lot of text messaging that goes on. It was really hard when she had her baby and I couldn't be there. We pretty much use up our vacation time to visit each other. I'm sure it will get easier as time goes on and you work out a routine to see each other.
Thanks @LMNOBaby& @AgentCarter! I think that's the stuff I'm going to miss the most, just having someone to come sit on the couch when I don't feel like moving on a Friday night. We have lots of plans for weekly facetime dates and have already been texting pretty much constantly so I know it'll be okay, just so different. I can't wait until she gets her full schedule of rotations so I know when I can go visit. She put in for vacation for when the baby is born so fingers crossed she gets approved and can come home!
Has anyone seen the video of the 12 year old girl from America's got Talent? I'm blown away. She was incredible. I've never watched the show but I kind of want to now just for her.

@kaessi - Try calling them. I had to do it once. Zulily is actually very friendly about some "returns" where they ask you to donate them and they will either credit your account or send you the smaller size. If you went by the size chart, it's definitely worth a shot!

Yes! She was amazing! I also don't watch but seeing her would be worth the time spent
Random question but do any of you guys ever feel like your stomach is dropping? No very often but maybe 3 times this week I have felt something that I can only describe as that stomach dropping feeling that you get on a roller coaster? Being a FTM this completely catches me off guard.
SO and I have been together: 5 Years+ BFP: 03/10 First Baby: 10/20/2016
I don't want to adult today. I don't want to go to school. I want to drive to FI's work and pick him up and play hookie. I want to spend money we don't have and do things we can't afford to do and worry about it later. Responsibilities are dumb, whaaaaaa.

I get this feeling when she rolls over; that's probably what it is.
