@mayisch Mine did that a few weeks ago, and then started leaking clear fluid after a few days. Still leaking but barely noticable, pretty much only when I take off my bra.
For me this week has been dehydration! I feel like I'm constantly drinking, but my pee is still yellow like I haven't seen water in days.
All I want to do is sleep, nap, and sleep some more. I'm always tired. I try sleeping on my sides with pillows for my belly, but my only true comfortable position is on my back. So I wedge myself up to keep good oxygen flow.
I also am retaining a lot of water in my feet. Tons to be honest.
@mayisch I had that going on a while back, and was actually jumping into this thread just now to talk nipples. I've been washing them religiously to get rid of the flakes and dried stuff (it's almost like having blackheads in the cracks of the nipple...), and I just noticed in the shower that they are leaking yellow. It looks like colostrum but surely it's too early for that? Each pregnancy brings me something new I tell you what...
I'm back!!! took the day off to get some laundry done, and for my prenatal checkup at 4pm today.
A super scary symptom that happened on vacation... Particularly after a heavy and late dinner, I woke up in the middle of my sleep, and I was in pain from so much acid reflux. It was so bad. I puked thrice and thought I'd have to get airlifted out of there. It went away, but I didn't know acid reflux could be so painful
Complete exhaustion here, too @TheMillerHighLife. The fact that my two year old isn't sleeping well at night isn't helping.
My legs are also swelling a little already. I can't really tell by looking at them, but the skin around my knees feels tight when I bend my legs. I noticed it last night when I was working out. I swelled terribly with my first, so I'm dreading this.
Well the heat has cranked up here and I feel miserable. I think I got too much sun Sunday ended up in bed while we had people over for a BBQ. My legs are swelling and the nauseousness is back full force. Going to be a long summer.
@F47 I hope your wee one gets to sleeping better soon, sorry you're still struggling with that =/ What all have you tried? I've been getting the tight swelling at my ankles, I looked like I had elephantitus of the legs with swelling last time so I'm with you on dreading that.
@AllyTheKidI feel like we've tried everything (short of letting him cry it out in bed). But, since he seems kind of scared, I'm not willing to do that. We have two bright night lights in his room now, and one in the hallway, since he now likes the door wide open.
I've confiscated almost all of his superhero toys and books, with which he is obsessed. But, I feel like this all started when he got super into those things. Could be a coincidence, but he's too young for that stuff anyway.
He now wants me to stay in his room while he falls asleep, so I've been doing that. It's not a problem on a night when he goes to sleep in 5 minutes, but last night I was in there for an hour and 15 (and sometimes it's up to two hours). He fell asleep at 9:45, woke up crying at 11:30, 2:45 and 5. Then slept until 7:30. He's definitely preparing me for having a newborn again.......
(When he wakes up he cries for me, but typically goes back to sleep after a quick rock in the chair and me tucking him back in. And, of course, waiting in his room until he's asleep).
@F47 DD would get up and either cry until I went to her, or crawl in bed with me which I just could not allow to become a habit. I wish I could remember exactly how it all happened and ended but I don't =/ I wouldn't try cry-it-out with a kid that old, but I would try to step back. Tuck him in, tell him everything is okay and everybody has to sleep now, then leave the room and see how it goes. I don't miss that phase at all and I sympathize, I hope this ends for you soon! Did you ever check out the light up pillow pets? DD preferred hers to her nightlights alone.
@AllyTheKid I forgot about the light up pillow pets! Thank you so much for the reminder - I just searched for some and will be ordering.
The habit is what I'm worried about. I want to tuck him in, reassure him that everything is totally fine, and walk out of his room. But, he will immediately stand up and cry. So, I've been doing the easier thing and staying in the chair until he falls asleep. But, I can't do that forever - and certainly not in October.
Luckily, he's still in his crib. So...he hasn't been able to get in our bed. That would drive me nuts. When he sleeps with us on vacation I get kicked SO many times. Like a typical toddler, he likes to lay sideways across the bed. So comfortable for us... lol
Holy irritability! We are in the middle of moving and getting the new house ready and the stress of that plus work is killing me and I am taking it out on DH and my mom like crazy,
Ughhhh pregnancy brain is so real. I ordered Chinese for lunch. When I went to pick it up they said they didn't have the order but would make it. I thought it was weird but while I was waiting realized that I think I called the Chinese place by my house (40 mins away) not my office. I'm so embarrassed!
also to add to it, my baby is pressing on my bladder which not only feels like immense pressure but I'm getting annoyed running to pee and 3 drops coming out. move little girl!
Good old heart burn has returned. I've been waking up hungry in the night, but I'm too tired and lazy to go downstairs and make something but if I don't I sometimes get heartburn bad. I never have snacks on my night stand cause my kids will just eat them/make a massive mess when moms not looking so that's not much of an option. *sigh*

I've been getting bad bouts of heartburn pretty consistently since late last week. The worst is if I wake up on my back, it feels like I have vomit in my throat.

**TMI** I've had this tenderness the past couple of weeks just below and to the right of my bellybutton. It hurts so bad to touch or push on. Midwife says it is a stretched muscle. Had sex with DH the other night and after I climaxed, the muscle spasmed and tightened up into a hard baseball-like mass. It wasn't a full contraction because the left side of my stomach stayed soft, but the right side really looked like a baseball was protrudingbout of it. It was so painful! Thankfully it relaxed in about 2 minutes but I am now scared of it happening again!
@LizaKate1213 I've had the same thing happen since 14 weeks. I thought it was BH but the NP said it's the round ligament as well because it's usually only on one side. Not much that can be done unfortunately. She said when you go to stand up, use your muscles to tuck in your pelvis because it helps brace your muscles and doesn't put as much strain on them from the weight of your uterus when you go to stand up. Mine usually happens when sitting so that's much help for me but thought I'd share for what it's worth.
1. Last week I couldn't stop going #2, this week...nada. It is feast or famine here with the poo people. 2. My nipples are also flaking off. OW and so weird. 3. I pee when I cough/laugh/ sneeze. A constant reminder to keep doing kegels.

I get this too, everytime I get off. It sucks, but the moments immediately before are pretty well worth it IMO!
@ibabyloveb87 ... that's the worst! Mine has been acting up too Have you tried Zantac? That seems to be about the only thing that helps mine. Tums is basically like candy when it's that bad lol

Really trying to not take meds....which might be silly but as long as I can function, that's my plan. So far sips of Sprite or Ginger Ale seem to help. Otherwise I just deal with it. It's not as bad as it could be. Which I say to myself about everything.
