I also keep up with @bananers blog and am so happy things seem to be going well. What a strong momma! She, Baby E, and family are in my thoughts and prayers!
I just wanted to add, (I snooped your blog and saw hearing success stories is helping!) my first boyfriend from high school was born at 26 weeks, and 1lb 2 oz over thirty years ago. His parents showed me the pictures of him as a teeny tiny baby to embarrass him - We keep in touch, and he had his first child, a son about a year ago, and by all accounts is a wonderful father himself.
Another success story for you to hang on to! Here's to the day this is a story you tell to embarrass him in front of his first high school girlfriend....
Just getting caught up on all the responses and wanted to say thank you to everyone for your support, prayers and good thoughts! We are having a really good day today and it's so uplifting to know how many people care.
Holy cow @bananers, I just now saw this thread. I'm am infrequent lurker these days. I'm so sorry you've been going through a scary ordeal but so so happy Emmett is a strong fighter! I'm looking forward to reading your blog and catching up on how you're all doing. I'll be thinking of you!
@banners- just looked at your blog - thoughts and prayers are sent on your way for you, your family and baby. Hope encouraging news keeps coming for you:)
Holy moly, girl, tell that little guy way to make an entrance. I'm keeping my fingers crossed everything is positive from here on out. Make sure you take care of yourself too!
I lurk. I snark. I offer sound advice if you're not BSC. You may not like me. I'm okay with it.
I'm a creeper from the September boards, found your blog while reading other month's birth announcements and have really loved keeping up with all of the strides that Emmett is making (my 1.5 year old son is an Emmett as well... awesome name choice!)
Just wanted to say that I mentioned your blog to the September 2016 Randoms group, since I've been finding your updates so incredible, but then thought that perhaps I should run that by you. I would imagine that the girls there (as well as we can really "know" internet strangers) would be reading it to bring you all nothing but more positive vibes for your amazing (not so little anymore!) fighter! Let me know if you have any hesitations to my posting the link in our Randoms board in September and I'll yank it down.

Much love and good thoughts to you all!
No issues! I figured by posting it here it was fair game for sharing, but I appreciate you checking. And thanks for the good thoughts!
@Gumdrop2016 I realize I don't post much. I am usually more of a lurker and tend to bite my tongue but I have to call you out on this. Are you being for real?!? This woman has to see her son everyday in the NICU and you have the audacity to use her post as a place for free money?? I hope you realize how disrespectful you are being.
