Congratulations to you! What a whirlwind you must be going through. I read your blog and everything seems positive and you are in good hands. I will be praying for you and Emmett. I love the name!
I just read your blog, and wow, what a roller coaster! Congratulations on the safe arrival of Emmett. He is beautiful. Good luck to your family with the long road ahead.
Prayers sending your way.. my last pregnancy I ended up in labor and delivered my baby girl at 24 weeks, and she was less than a 1 1lb and died 20 minutes later. Prayers that your baby boy and you as a mama can be strong!
Congratulations on a safe delivery! My cousin had her twins around the same time in her pregnancy and they are beautiful two year olds now! Sending good thoughts!
I wanted to add that I just read your birth story and first update and I'm bawling. What a strong little dude Emmett is! And he obviously has an incredibly mommy, I love the idea that this is your "sneak peak" at him
I read your blog and it moved me to tears. I was a milk donor for the NICU after my daughter was born premature (late term preemie) last year and the part about trying to bring your milk in really hit home with me. I was 35 weeks and it took almost 5 days to bring my milk in but I ended up having enough to donate 22 L and feed my child and another for 11-12 months, so don't give up but if it doesn't happen there is no shame in using donor milk. That is what it is there for.
@bananers Just checked out your blog and wow... What a scary experience, but so glad to hear you are both doing well given the situation. You are so strong! Sounds like you've definitely got the right attitude towards everything, and I hope he continues to progress and improve every day. Thoughts and prayers to your family.
All I can say is WOW. I read your blog, and I'm so happy to hear that he is doing so well. He is so beautiful keep your chin up, and lots of good vibes are being sent yours and Emmett's way.
Wow!! Hadn't been on in quite a while and my jaw dropped when I saw this!!! So glad that you are both doing well! Will definitely be keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers going forward!

@tmk0325 she dropped in on the pgal thread a few days ago (I'm a bananers stalker..) and she updates her blog daily: keepingupwiththehoffmans.com
I tried to catch up on her blog this morning at work and ugly cried when when she talked about doing kangaroo care for the first time! I really like her writing style and its sweet to see that he is growing, but maybe not the best to read at work

I ugly cried as well. She really does write beautifully!
I admire her perseverance and how she is handling balancing home life and NICU life. I definitely have been keeping little E in my prayers.
