Hi everyone. So I've been MIA recently, but with good reason! I gave birth to my son, Ian, at 5:21am on Monday May 23rd following a VERY rapid spontaneous labor at 37w3d. He weighed 5lb 8oz, and measured 19 inches at birth. He may be tiny, but he is FIERCE! He latched at the breast right away and has been feeding frequently and vigorously. We had our first pediatrician appointment today and he's gaining weight already at only 4 days old.
I'll miss this group and will definitely keep lurking. You are an amazing and supportive group of mamas-to-be!
@sporty1216 I'm interested in your FB group too, if you'll have me!

In a weird way, I think I'll always miss being pregnant after this baby comes. It's such an incredible experience and if I had gotten to get started younger I'd do it as many times as my body would allow! Grateful that all of us here are getting to have the experience. And here's to, in good time, the privilege of a round 2 for you.
Hope Ian lets you catch a bit of a nap here and there today. He is so sweet.

It's interesting to hear that you miss being pregnant. I'm already looking forward to having a normal, comfortable, symptom-free, pain-free body again, not to mention sleeping on my stomach! But I wonder if I'll miss it too, and regret not appreciating it more. Especially because, like you, a second one isn't guaranteed. Hmm...food for thought.
Oh, and that's awesome that you had a quick labor! And Ian's adorable. I want to pick him up.

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
