@uromys - is there a reason you're tied to this provider? I'd find a different one... Especially for your NT scan and your anatomy scan where they're looking for abnormalities. I would also want to be certain on the size of my baby - not a guess. Don't mean to sound harsh but I'm concerned about the level of care being given.

@DiFazetteOh I get it. most practices where we live send you to the prenatal testing center located in one of our four hospitals for all tests and scans. This was just my first initial visit and to make sure it was a viable pregnancy. Im not entirely panicked. I know it's in there beating away. I could of gotten a scan the next day but DH wanted to go so I had to work around his schedule. I just am bummed I walked out no closer to a due date.

EVERYONE LOOK AT MAI BEHBEH! Wow. There's really a baby in there! Heartbeat is 175, and it still has a little yolk sac. It looks like it's wearing it as a hat haha. Measuring exactly on track, and EDD is December 19th. We are so happy and so in love. Edited to ask: Is there any truth to the tale that if the HB is above 140, it's a girl, and if it's below 140, it's a boy?
Doctor is a little concerned about my blood pressure, though. She wants me to keep track of it during the week and record them so we can see if my BP is truly high or just nerves from the doctor. I feel kind of bummed about that because I'm not overweight, I eat reasonably, drink a lot of water, and get exercise. Maybe it's just the stress pregnancy is putting on my body? I lost a little weight from last appointment, but not enough to cause concern. Next appointment is in 2 weeks! Suck it, infertility!
@dmontgo - baby is beautiful!!! Congratulations! Regarding heart rate - nope, only as much truth as every other old wives tale - 50% chance of being correct. DS had a high heart rate entire pregnancy. My best friend was convinced she was having a boy due to lower heat rate - she's got a girl.
Do you mind me asking how high your BP was? I have a ton of experience with this. Remember that high blood pressure is not on its own an indicator of health. It's hereditary, can be caused by stress/anxiety and can be caused on its own by pregnancy and go away as soon as you deliver. Feel free to reach it privately or publicly if you have any questions or concerns I might be able to answer for you.
I had my 3rd U/S yesterday and babies look great. 9w5d and 9w4d with heartbeats of 178 and 181. I have so many appts it's actually a little overwhelming. I have 3 more u/s scheduled in the next 2 months and that's not counting other appts. Here they are... One was waving it's paddle hand at me the whole time!!
Had our first ultrasound today, measuring right on track for 8 weeks. Confirmed EDD of 12/22/16, heart rate was 174! It was so good to finally see the little peanut, it's all sinking in!
Got this a little over a week ago at a private u/s office to calm my worries @ 10 weeks. Got to see baby kicking and waving and got a dvd and recording of the heartbeat so I could send to DH. We will go back when DH gets home so he can finally see in person.
So happy and relieved! Measured right at 8 weeks 4 days (where I am) and heartbeat of 167! We suffered a miscarriage last summer at 8 weeks, so when I heard the strong, fast HB and picture I almost cried I was happy! (and hormonal!)
So excited to finally post here! I didn't even ask what the heart rate was, I heard it and the doctor said it was good so whatever! Measuring at 11 weeks 1 day, and was moving around like crazy! One of the coolest moments of my life so far.
I'm in the same boat @Amecsey! Welcome to the shock of twins club! Like @DiFazette mentioned, join the moms of multiples discussions! Congrats to you!!
So I am seeing it. I was second guessing if it was the nub or not. We're hoping for a boy as I haven't had a boy born into my maternal family in many many generations! But as long as it's healthy we're happy! Thanks for the clarification!
Here's our little gummy bear measuring at 9 weeks 3 days with a perfect heartbeat of 174. The tech was nice enough to let us watch him/her for quite a while, so we saw some little wiggles. Loved getting to see the teeny arms and legs. Over the moon excited and relieved.
Baby was waving and kicking all over the place with a heart rate of 164! I never imagined that they would be so squirmy at this stage. It's so funny because I can't feel it but baby was legit throwing a party. I cried so hard at seeing everything for the first time! FI was mesmerized, I think we're in love
