@that1didntcount Spare socks/mittens? A set or two of plain crib sheets/PNP sheets/changing pad covers? Maybe an extra bath toy or something that can be for your other kids (you have three, right? Or am I mixing you up with someone else? Brain is fuzzy tonight...)?
@That1didntcount I obviously don't know what you already have, but could you just buy a few boxes of wipes or something?
I was thinking that - at this point you kind of have to buy sensitive wipes right? Since you don't know how they'll react? Any experience with the target up and up brand? They are probably a better value right?
I'm so bummed our local Acme doesn't carry Turkey Hill gelato anymore. Their mint chocolate chip is what Breyer's used to be (before Breyer's completely went to shit) and I miss it. :[
@tgortney Hugs. It will get better, but I agree, recovery sucks. You're simultaneously given more responsibility than before and have reduced ability to handle that new responsibility. Plus, somehow you're supposed to enjoy every moment and also pretend you're not in pain. It can be a shock, especially the first time. Just try to be kind to yourself. It helps me to be a baby/toddler cuddles hog, so I'm trying to do that as much as possible.
Had a false alarm today. Thought that my water broke and went to the hospital. Looks like I just peed myself a little back home now and waiting for the real deal
@amberraysofdawn - this is #2! I cannot even imagine 4!!! Wipes and an extra crib sheet. We had two with our first, and we never needed the second but we would change them out every time we washed them. I was thinking we could get by with one, but next thing you know, this baby will have a diaper leak daily and I will be S.O.L. for crip sheets....

Wow, I thought it was just me. I agree on the downfall of Breyer's mint chocolate chip. That was my favorite all-time flavor!
My donut count went from 2 to 3 at the end of the work day yesterday. I told DH how many I had and he was like "dayuuuummm!" I'm ready to be done with work...we don't eat that shit at home...but it's really fun for now.

Bluebell's was my favorite, and I could easily eat a whole pint in a sitting if I'm not careful. I'm too paranoid to even think about having it now, though. No other brand or flavor can replace it, and I've been doing lots of Scientific Research™ trying to find one that will...

Nope, you didn't imagine it. They changed the formula about ten years ago and it was such a drastic change that it's actually noted on their Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breyers#Cost-cutting
So yep, if you felt like the ice cream isn't as good as your childhood memories, in this case it's not just nostalgia or "back in my day!" selective memory editing -- it really did turn into garbage.
Re: FFFC
You ladies all talking about doughnuts and ice cream.... ugh. I may have to run to the grocery store tomorrow. And it's like 15 minutes away.
