My OB told me yesterday that she thinks I'm having a boy, based soley on my morning sickness disappearing at 8 weeks. Ugh, now I feel myself getting my heart set on boy and I wish she hadn't said anything. I have a beautiful little girl and another little girl would be joyous, too. Only 6 more weeks to find out.... Patience isn't my strong suit.
@Thewizardofrhythm, yay! One of each is pretty awesome. There's something about a sweet little boy who loves his mother soo much and a little girl who tells you she wants to be like you when she grows up.
@shevaCC lol u must have really well behaved kids - I'd be disappointed if mine aren't total Rebels like me cuz then they'd have inherited DH's goody two shoes genes
Oh my GOD. Just got the call back about my Verifi Progenity results. All markers for abnormalities came back negative (!!!!!!!!!!!!)

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm a boy Mama! I am so much more happy than I thought I'd be, only because I actually considered it was going to be a girl this time around, but I always wanted to be a boy Mama. We get to reuse everything. I can't wait, I was heartbroken packing away all of DS(1!?)'s stuff, so that's rad. DH will have to wait until tonight to find out, I promised him I'd do a big reveal for him since he didn't get that surprise last time or this time with finding out I was pregnant. (I walked out of the bathroom and yelled it in his face)
I'm going to tell him I want to play 5 card draw after DS takes a nap and I'm going to plant a special "Jack" card in his hand where he will see it when he picks it up, understand he's about to get the reveal and then he'll peel back a sticker that reveals it's a boy! I thought of it the other night, he will be taken completely by surprise. I'm going to film the whole thing, set the camera up where he can't see it.

So much this. Giving our son a brother, it gives me goosebumps. They'll always have each other's backs. I grew up with 3 older brothers and was jealous of that bond. Wasn't close with my sister at all. So special, thank you!

Ha, so he ended up telling me on his own like an hour later through text that he wanted the anticipation of knowing, (he knew we'd get the call this week) so the poker card thing went on the wayside. I even had the deck picked out, all that. I ended up going to Michaels and buying a wee wooden treasure chest that I painted to look legit and stuffed it full of "it's a boy!" blue wrappered Hershey Kisses. We had personalized Kisses on our wedding cupcakes too from a decade ago so it was a cute inside joke.
I filmed the whole thing, he sat our son on his lap and just gave the sweetest reaction ever. He was genuinely blown away. I think I've rewatched the video at least 40 times already. Big hit on FB.

Did my Panorama blood draw at the OBs on Monday. Soooo anxious to hear back. I need to know!
Hoping for for a healthy girl but would be thrilled to remain a boy mama. I went through my sons winter clothes from just this year and already they look so much smaller and Id love to see another little boy in them.
How quickly did you hear back with Panorama results? I didn't get my ID code or anything off the box. She didn't give me any paperwork to take home.

I have an update, but not because we found anything out! We were still in the negotiation phase, because initially, I wanted it to be a surprise and DH wanted to find out. We compromised by saying if we found out, we would keep it just between us and tell everyone else it's a surprise. This morning, after reading our ticker update together, I mentioned that we have to decide what we're doing before our u/s in a few weeks. He said "If we're telling people we're not finding out, and you don't want to find out, then we should just not find out." I'm shocked because I thought he felt more strongly about this than I did, but I guess he got used to the idea! So... We are officially Team Green!

We did the test as well and found out last week that we're having a girl! Our son is 3 and has been specifically asking for a baby sister so he's over the moon!
Guys!!!! Sorry I've been MIA but I was traveling for work and then busy with other things etc etc but anyway I just got back my results from InformaSeq and I'm very happy to share that all results were Normal and we are having a BOY!!! Now we will have the pair! We couldn't be happier because this baby is it for us.
I shared the news with DH by having him open a bag and inside was this book.
