Ladies I just had a breakdown. Like a crying pray to God breakdown. So the retrieval two weeks ago the doctor called and said that embryo was missing a chromosome. So I have the one still from March that's being retested but deep down I know what the answer is. I Just turned 36 in January, sure I'm working with only one ovary and that one ovary is DOR and has scar tissue and sure I ovulate at 7 days rather than 14 without meds. I have everything that possibly can be wrong... Wrong with me and I'm so tired and fed up and just plain devasted. Seven months of injections, three of retrievals with no luck. And only two more tries left. I know the normal answer for support would be but I need something, something else that's going to give me the hope I need. And if you have nothing well just send me some wishful thinking and love cuz I'm at the point of no return.

I am so sorry you feel so down @LSatturo126 don't give up hope on that last egg yet. You never know. You aren't that old even with one ovary. It's a tough spot you are in. I do believe you can still get that good egg but it's such an emotional roller coaster that you have to weigh the pros and cons. My dr put it nicely you have to think about the time, money and emotions involved in treatment and how you weigh each of those three and if it is worth it or not for you to pursue treatment. I don't know what your thoughts are but donor eggs is another option. IT's one we had in the back of our minds but I was no where near ready to do that, not sure if I ever would have been but lots of people do that. It's all so personal and I wish you luck and come here anytime you need to vent or ask advice. I am sending you big virtual hugs!
Thanks @rachlee2010 we def have talks about donor eggs but obviously when we are at that crossroad. All my life since I can remember I've wanted a child and couldn't wait to see how much he or she looked like me and the thought of that not happening breaks my heart. My dr and I talked and I'm down 11lbs as of yesterday and I asked him if I lost like 30 more would that help my ovary better? He feels that losing weight definitely helps so we will take two more months off so I can lose that weight and see if that will help my ovary work better. It's going to be a few more weeks to find out about that other embryo anyway so we shall see.

@LSatturo126 Sorry for the late post! The appt went well. At first the OB was just going to use the Doppler to measure the heartbeats. I was kind of irritated because we were told we would have an US each time. Well, she could only find one soooo... We needed an US! Haha. We saw both heartbeats immediately. But it was so quick. They were facing toward and kicking each other. She didn't do any measurements and said they look fine. The sono printouts are nothing great to post. All she got were two heads! Haha @rachlee2010 Yay! Glad to hear it. Looking good!

Hello ladies! I am 34 and have a low AMH at .6 and did my 1st IUI on 05/05.... i am hoping for a success story of my own!
Me: 35 DOR, low AMH = 0.694, and fibroids DH: 41 Married 10/25/2014 / TTC since 05/2015 1st IUI 05/05/16 Letrozole 7.5 mg CD 3-11 + Ovidrel = BFN 2nd cycle on Letrozole 7.5 mg CD 3-11 + TI = BFN 3rd cycle on Letrozole but did our 2nd IUI on 07/01/16. 10 mg CD 3-11 + Ovidrel = BFN Onto IVF! Started Lupron on 09/24. Added Gonal F and hcg injections 09/26...... Trigger 10/07. EggRetrieval 10/09. Starting PIO, Estrace, and Medrol 10/10/16. Transferred 2 "strong/beautiful" embryos 10/14/16. Beta 10/28/16 = 998 mIU/mL = BFP with one baby, but miscarried at 9w5d. D&C on 12/06/17 and started taking BCPs 01/10/17 for the next IVF Cycle, which officially began stims on 02/18/17. Fast Forward: we got 4 fertilized embryos from that cycle. Transferred one fresh, but it did not stick, so we have 3 frozen embryos currently. Went in to the fertility clinic in July to talk about a FET of one of those three frozen embryos, but a new fibroid was discovered, and I was not cleared to do the transfer until I had fibroid removal surgery. 08/11/17 had a mini-laparotomy / myomectomy to remove 6 fibroids, largest sized were the size of golf-balls! Once we were cleared to go about our normal lives (sex!) I got pregnant NATURALLY but it was a chemical pregnancy. The very next month we had another BFP and here we are now with a baby on the way! @Stars2016 amh and fsh measures two different things. Amh is supposed to give an idea of how many eggs you have left while fsh measures your follicle stimulating hormones which is what triggers your ovaries to grow follicles/respond to meds. Some women may have 1 of the two. I have a very low amh and a high fsh.

I do appreciate seeing the success stories here. I have moderately low AMH, moderately high FSH, and I've had one IVF cycle cancelled for poor response. I'm getting geared up for my second cycle now (on BCPs), and this is my last shot with my tired old ovaries. If this doesn't work, we'll be trying reciprocal IVF with my wife's eggs, and she's tested in the normal range (though she's another old lady at 37).
It's so encouraging to see pregnancies on this thread. I feel like I'm nowhere near as optimistic and hopeful as when I was starting all this.

Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
@KLake42 I know we have chatted a few times, we did end up doing reciprocal ivf and were successful. As always, feel free to pm me any yime eith questions about it. Dw had a low amh of .8 We are pregnant 16 weeks pregnant with one girl.

good luck @KLake42 I have heard that BCP can oversurpress your ovaries and it usually isn't recommended for IVF cycles if you have a low amh/high fsh..just something to think about if you don't respond..could be the pills. That said I have heard of people using them first and responding just fine. For our IVF cycle we did not go on birth control at all.
Hey ladies... I just wanted to check in with you all and say I'm so happy that you all are having some very positive experiences here and getting some BFPs. I also wanted to let you know that I will be leaving the Bump, some of us that got our BFPs already have had a few issues with admins and been getting warnings and even getting banned. Seems as if it is time for us to move on because we are no longer in the process of fertility treatments. I wanted to let you all know how much I've appreciated being a part of this forum. All the encouragement I received right after my Low AMH diagnosis and all the positive vibes on this board have really helped me in so many ways. I'm so happy for all of you with your BFPs and I wish nothing but the best to all of you still in the process or planning transfers and other procedures soon.

Onto IVF! Started Lupron on 09/24. Added Gonal F and hcg injections 09/26...... Trigger 10/07. EggRetrieval 10/09. Starting PIO, Estrace, and Medrol 10/10/16. Transferred 2 "strong/beautiful" embryos 10/14/16. Beta 10/28/16 = 998 mIU/mL = BFP with one baby, but miscarried at 9w5d.
D&C on 12/06/17 and started taking BCPs 01/10/17 for the next IVF Cycle, which officially began stims on 02/18/17.
Fast Forward: we got 4 fertilized embryos from that cycle. Transferred one fresh, but it did not stick, so we have 3 frozen embryos currently. Went in to the fertility clinic in July to talk about a FET of one of those three frozen embryos, but a new fibroid was discovered, and I was not cleared to do the transfer until I had fibroid removal surgery.
08/11/17 had a mini-laparotomy / myomectomy to remove 6 fibroids, largest sized were the size of golf-balls! Once we were cleared to go about our normal lives (sex!) I got pregnant NATURALLY but it was a chemical pregnancy. The very next month we had another BFP and here we are now with a baby on the way! A TOTAL AND COMPLETE MIRACLE!

It's so encouraging to see pregnancies on this thread. I feel like I'm nowhere near as optimistic and hopeful as when I was starting all this.
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
RE DX for me: Anovulatory cycles/Mild PCOS RE DX for DW: Endometrioma on left Ovary.

I have the feeling everyone will leave now that they have their bfps and I can't believe almost five months later and I still am not. Ugh so depressing. Hoping I'll get there by September.
Married my best friend in 2013 (I was 33), After 1.5yrs of TTC got my first BFP naturally on 2/7/15 but ended in DNC on 4/14/15, not viable. In 2015 I was 35...Found out I had only one working ovary, which was DOR, with scar tissue and I ovulated at 7 days, with a small cervix opening and a tilted uterus... Needing an RE was a must.....IUI#1 Sept 2015,,, BFN IUI#2 Oct 2015,,,BFN IUI#3 Dec 2015,,BFN IVF#1 2/1/16- BFN IVF# on 3/29/16 retrieval only - 1 healthy chromosome tested embryo. IVF#3 retrieval 4/23/16- 0 healthy embryos. IVF#4 retrieval 6/17/16- 1 healthy embryo. FET#1-Transferred Both Healthy Embryos on 9/6/16 BFP!! 9/15/16 Beta 22.3, 9/17/16 Beta 60.5 & 9/19/16 Beta 195! 1st US on 9/23/16, only 1 Gast Sac & Yolk Sac found, US 9/30/16 US 6wk 1day saw and heard Heartbeat 120bpm!!
