@GoogleMD Do you remember what your numbers were? Congratulations on your son!
I don't remember what the exact numbers were. My first number taken around 4 weeks was under 100, I believe it was around 85 or 90. It took right at 72hrs to double, a week later it was 1200, and a week after that ( so about 6-6.5 weeks) it was just over 2000. I had an u/s at what should have been 7w3d and baby measured 6w2d (HR was 125 if I remember correctly). I went back 8 days later for a follow up u/s, baby measured 8w0d and had a HR of 145. He measured 3-4 days "smaller" than the DD estimated from my last period the rest of the pregnancy.
@googlemd thank you for this update! Even though I've been told over and over again b my Dr that all that matters is what is being seen on the ultrasound at this point (which has been strong heartbeats), there is still that nagging feeling that I can't feel comfortable because I had the really small beta increase right before week 6. Hearing a success story with a healthy, take home baby helps so much.

I understand, i was very nervous. We didnt trll anyone besides parents and my best friend until 16 weeks. We didnt buy anything other than a sleeper before 24 weeks.
My betas were low low! Baby is healthy though, I'm 16 weeks keep your head up! A nurse told me i'd likely miscarry this one (i've already miscarried 2x)...and we have not! Like i said, stay positive mama
@mrsbenjamindaniel Thank you!! I'm 10+5 today. We heard a great heartbeat yesterday, but I'm a bit worried because my Panorama came back with no results due to low fetal fraction. We did draw on 9+5 and did the redraw today, so hopefully we get results this time! Sometimes no results can be indicative of chromosomal abnormalities, so with this pregnancy's history, I'm worried.
@chloe97 low fractal DNA means absolutely zero about anything wrong with the baby. I had it happen twice and they didn't even try a third. had my nt scan and several appts since and there are zero issues.
I was told the test could be done anytime after 10 weeks. So maybe it was just too early?

@CarrieandRoy Panorama says 9 weeks, but I like to think it was just too early. I have a feeling that my draw at 10+5 is also going to be a bust, which will do nothing for my nerves. I've pretty much resigned myself to getting an Amnio. FX I'm wrong though!
panoramas own site does not disclose that information. I tend to believe my actual obgyn over a website that has no backup from the actual manufacturer of the test
@j32444 Welcome and good luck!! According to the American Pregnant Association 15-20% of women have betas that don't follow typical patterns and go on to have healthy pregnancies. After a heartbeat is visible on an ultrasound, that is a much better indication of how the pregnancy is progressing. Unfortunately, we're not out of the woods yet. I've made it to 12 weeks, but still have an NT scan and waiting on NIPT genetic testing results. We definitely have not been able to relax about this pregnancy.
FX for you @chloe97 !!! This is just so hard.. to be pregnant after a loss. We need to stay strong and keep our spirits up!!! I hope your upcoming tests come out wonderfully!
I am still on 5weeks, I will have blood tests tomorrow, and I will wait for 8w for my first US. FX also for me!

I wanted to give what could be the final update in this saga. I wish that I came here with better news, but unfortunately it's not looking good.
My Panorama once again came back with no results. We went for our NT scan today and the baby is measuring 10 days too small, the placenta is extremely small and the head is too large. We had a CVS today, but more likely than not, the baby has a chromosomal abnormality not conducive with life. Probably Triploidy based on the HCG issues my Dr ventured, but hopefully we will know more ina few days.
I just want to say thank you all for the support through this tough time. It's been helpful.
Sending hugs and prayers to you, Chloe97. I can't imagine how hard this must all be for you.

I'm so sorry, @chloe97. It looks like there were many of us rooting you and your baby on from the other side. Sending you and your DH some love during this devastating time.
And I'm also sorry to add my own bad news. Yesterday morning my temp went way down and I started spotting. Later in the day I started bleeding heavily. I can't believe I am losing my baby again :-(
Thank god I was at home, because it has been a terrible process. A girl friend of mine came to stay with me in the evening when my husband had to leave for work, and I am so thankful she could be with me.
It was so nice to have hope and be here with you ladies. I don't know if I'll be back soon. I'm sorry. I'm so sad.
