I'm sorry for your loss. But yeah, skull theory and other "guessing games" are (obviously) pretty unpopular around here. They're viewed as a bit silly, since they don't actually work.
It bugs the hell out of me when people pull the loss card in situations like this. Many of us here have had losses, there's a whole PGAL thread for us, and we don't use our loss (or losses) to try and guilt "bitches" into feeling sorry for us when we put our proverbial foot in our mouths.
If you'd lurked for five minutes, you'd have seen the thread two down from this one that is literally the *exact* same and how it went over. You can't just waltz into a community you've never participated in before and go all speshul snowflake on us and assume we'll just pat you on the head and play along. Lurk moar. Start participating in our daily and weekly threads. Or go all GBCB. Whatever fits your fancy. BabyCenter or Glow would love to have you.
@LindsayLuLu27 - GBCG is goodbye cruel Bump. Always in reference to overdramatic exits (typically precipitated by a user getting flamed for a silly mistake and not taking it like a big girl and learning from her mistakes to move on).
Newbs: here is a perfect example of why we wait for later in the game to do a FB group. Because chicks like this would have had access to your work info, pictures of your kids, family member info, etc. You don't want to be around someone who is unstable and volatile. At least by the 3rd trimester it gives us a better idea of who participates, gives actual support by putting in the time and reaches out to other members to get to know them. I know it's hard to wait, but you will be glad you did.
Those of us from former BMBs can tell horror stories of the vindictive shit people pull. It's worth the wait for your safety. /preachover
@Sheybre I googled the specifics since I wasn't 100% - it's the theory that female and male fetuses will have differently shaped skulls that is identifiable on ultrasound and can be used to determine sex early. It's laughable really. I majored in bio/forensic anthropology and even with my hands on an actual skull with a set of calipers and a copy of ForDisc, I still couldn't guarantee you the correct sex.
Sorry OP, I don't believe in pseudo-science mumbo jumbo.
I instead opted for the more scientifically credible spinning medallion trick. If that doesn't meet your fancy you can also try the Dran-O experiment or I understand our Far East brethren have a helpful chart that could interest you as well.
Guarantee those methods will be more accurate than me trying to take a guess looking at your kid's noggin.
Also, as someone who has suffered multiple losses, it kind of makes me stabby when you play the loss card.

Re: Skull theory anyone?
I have no idea what skull theory even is.
I'll edit in a popcorn gif later, I'm eating bacon cheese out of a spray can right now and using my bump as a tray. This mama ain't moving.
Skull theory (and allllll of the other "early sex predictions") are a load of crap. You've got a 50/50 of any of them being right.
Please go read the pinned threads.
I guess it looks like it does have a skull.

Yay. I didn't miss it. I wanted to insert a different gif, but I only have one warning left.

TTC#2 April 2019Ps wasn't this a joke by OP? The timing just seemed too funny to be serious. IDK...
Guess it's just my sarcastic personality that took it as she must be making a joke... The timing was too perfect! Lol
Woot woot!
