Everyone has their own different comfort level on when to get involved with people they have never met in real life on a more personal level such as Facebook. For example - I wouldn't ever leave my email address open on a public forum. But hey - that's just me and my opinion.
And highfive - you are an awesome contributor to this board. The announcement of a second group was made on regular threads that regulars post on to avoid Randoms requesting to join. The decision was made to keep the group small so that the space could be more intimate. So after a week, the group decided to decline any more requests.

In the UO thread some people were complaining about being excluded but I think some of the OG Facebook folks were confused and thinking they were talking about THEIR group... not the newest one. Then some not so nice things were being said about some of us and it got a little nastier than it probably needed to... #hormones.
It's totally about comfort level. None of us in the newest Facebook group were comfortable in January, but we are now on the condition that we recognized every member that joined the group.
Clearly though someone is in both groups and is relaying messages which is shady and is very much breaching a trust in the group. And for the record , they aren't doing a very good job unless I missed a shed load of posts mocking regs. I see none of it. Of course not everyone is gonna like each other. Who cares! Now we all now know there are two groups, let's just leave them private and separate and not be running back and forth tit for tat. It's not fair and another BMB is gonna bite the dust if this is the carry on.
It could have been deleted, it could just be hidden due to Facebook's weird sorting algorithm, I don't know. It's enough to say we know that some truely nasty things were said after a misunderstanding that was caused by people not realizing there were 2 groups.
There was a lot of snark on here yesterday and sarcastic things said about the members of the 2nd group BY MEMBERS OF THE 2ND FB GROUP because that's just how we roll, we're weird and sarcastic and joke around in good fun. At no point was anyone saying anything mean or derogatory about the first break off and yet members of the first group took it upon themselves to take offense despite not actually following the whole story line. We don't GAF about your group, you guys do you and we'll leave you to it, just don't talk shit, its as simple as that.
